I had been coming here for years and was treated badly by the mechanics who blow you off after they have your money. After I called to report the heater core that they installed was not working, I went there, they took 2 days to get the part then they said it would be done on a Thursday, so I took the day off from work; Sean, the person at the front, never called to tell me that day was only to order the part, yet my car sat there for no reason. The next day, I brought my car back and the mechanic Sean, with a shrug and a blank expression, said that the "just needed to connect a loose fitting" which was NOT true. I took two days off from work for this repair to be corrected by Leo Luck's Auto Repairs and they failed miserably; I know this because I then took my car to my dealership where they did the work right THE FIRST TIME. Nick is that mythical creature that most of us only hear about in fairy tales: The honest mechanic. If he bills you for two hours of labor, he did at least two. If you want to save some money, he'll try to make it happen with a reconditioned part or some other tactic. If he can't fix it, he'll refer you to someone else. Oh, and if you normally go to a quick-stop lube place for an oil change, do your car a favor and have Nick give it a full and proper oil change, complete with lubing just about every moving part on the car as he gives it a once-over. A little extra goes a long way. You won't find espresso machines or flatscreens here, and Nick can be a bit cantankerous sometimes. It's a gritty, old-fashioned shop, but it's run by guys with actual ethics.
