Had someone contact me incredibly fast when I made an inquiry. I was able to text with the rep which was incredibly convenient since I was at work. Convenience at its finest. The entire process was incredibly straightforward. That said I knew what I wanted going in and didn't have to browse or anything. Bobby was my salesman and I was very impressed (especially as a former retail employee who sold furniture and pitched them). He explained everything and answered all questions with patience. He also made numerous points in conversation to make a genuine connection with me. Being incredibly personable. They basically met me halfway with my target price goal and performed some loops that (in my honest opinion) seemed pretty considerable. Dylan the financial guy was super down to earth and personable. He could clearly tell I was nervous as hell and had a way of being down to earth that helped me relax. Overall, I'm incredibly impressed and pleased with my entire visit. I'm also VERY pleased with their lifetime warranty. I felt like a valued customer and like I got the 5 star treatment. I was at the dealership today looking at different mid-size models and gathering information about each of them to help me decide which type of car I would like to purchase. We talked to Rachel in the beginning and she was extremely kind and helpful! (5 stars for her). She had an appointment come, so another salesman, who never introduced himself to us so I do not even know his name but he wore a blue shirt, took over for Rachel. He was INCREDIBLY rude even from he moment he approached us. I understand this time of year and month can be stressful (as he told me multiple times), but I do not think that is an excuse to be rude, completely unprovoked. Between my son and I we have bought e cars and traded in or sold them 3 cars. The sales people are all proffessionals that we dealt with but Management, Finance and service are terrible. I traded in a 2018 Nissan Rogue on Sep 5th, cancelled my maintance agreement and I am still waiting for my refund. Two weeks ago a bought a used car from them a 2008 BMW only 59000 miles looked great had an issue with it took it down to BMW dealer looked up vin number and he told me there was approx $8,000 worth of issues with car. Engine and whole car were cleaned and spotless to deceive someone. I went back to North Strand basically said your problem bought as is. I said true but someone cleaned up car real good to make it look like there were no issues. Looks like fraud to me caused by someone. When I bought new nissan was told two years service and tire rotation. Took in Rogue they tried to charge me. I said no I was suppose to get 2 years service after a half hour off talking to 3 or 4 people I finally got it. Second time I went in same problem. Son had same problem with new Rogue he bought. Son sold them a car and out literally took like 2 or 3 weeks to release the check. Took my vehicle in for a repair estimate and it was going to cost more than the car was worth so I told them to make me an offer. A salesman called and offered $1000 and I specifically asked if I had to do a trade in for that offer and he said no. When I arrived, the salesman apparently wasn't there so the guy who appraised it comes and tells me the offer is $500, that the $1000 was only if I did trade in. So of course I'm angry and to top things off I had to pay for the repairs they had already done before they found the part that was too expensive to replace. They did a tire alignment on my car and told me the adjusters on one wheel were "frozen." They wouldn't be able to align it again unless I replaced them, about $350-$400 they said. The next morning I took the car to another dealership who re-aligned the tires and said there's nothing wrong with the adjusters. "I don't know why they would have said that and written it up on the service sheet." The next day, I sent an email to Ed with all this and got no reply. Scam? Who knows. Tried to charge me full price for a battery that they knew was still under warranty from Nissan. Then, advised me to let them run diagnostics to determine why my 4WD light stayed lit on my dashboard (4WD not engaged); they know that diagnostic data cleared that morning when the battery died, but acted surprised when they had no error codes. Rebooted the system, which did not fix anything, and billed me $230+ for replacing a battery under warranty and failing to fix the 4WD issue. And Ed was rude to my husband when they talked. We will let our family and friends at NMB know they should avoid this dealership. read more

During their Labor Day sale(?) the business had a promotional representative giving out false payments. The dealership did not acknowledge or stand by the sale details given by the rep. At no time were we informed that this rep did not work for the dealership. A real bait and switch operation-proceed with extreme caution. Although they had written discounts posted and in mailers the dealership did not honor any of them in their sales quotes. If there was a star less than one it would be on this review. The paperwork took Forever and now 39 days after they had my registration of my trade in they let my tags expire and I am driving with tags not even registered. The entire process for this purchase has been a nightmare that never ends!! Bought a car in April 2017 from them, they sold us on the GAP insurance and the Premier dealer services, new at buying a car from a dealership, got the worst salemans ever,talked us into the above insurances also charged us a highway tax for $300.00 plus fees for tags and titles $85.00 (which they never did and had to pay again out of pocket at the registry) And guess what they charged another 480.00 for Closing fees!!!!! Wish I could give zero stars. Went in 2 days ago planning on buying a Nissan Altima. After finding one that I really liked, we went for a test drive. When I got out of the car to drive, I dropped my phone and cracked it on the pavement. When we got back to the dealership, I was clearly upset about my phone being broken. I kept refusing to sign because I wasn't comfortable with the price and was mainly focused on my phone. I told the salesman, Justin, I would get my phone fixed over the weekend and go back on Monday after I'd given the car more thought (this is the first car I looked at). He kept going to talk to his managers and kept lowering my monthly payment little by little. I said again that I wasn't signing until I had time to think it over. Then Justin gets the sales manager named Dean (I assume this is his real name as they told me this after I demanded them to give me a name twice after the ordeal happened.) Fat, red-faced Dean walks into the office and sits down, almost breaking the chair, and my mother tells him that I'm not comfortable and won't sign because I was focused on my phone being broken but that I would go back Monday if I decided that I wanted the car. Dean says TO MY MOTHER that that's the craziest reason he's ever heard for not buying a car. WHAT? He gets up and leaves the room with Justin. As they're walking away, he's throwing his hands up and down making comments that were clearly about us (I guess about how crazy I was because I chose not to buy his car at that exact minute). Needless to say, I immediately left. I don't understand why he was even brought in to talk to us as I had already said I was not signing that day. I felt pressured that I was supposed to buy something just because I stepped on the lot. After I left, I was texted and called repeatedly by Justin (who said he was only 18 and later I learned that he was not apparently not trained for his job as the manager told me he did not know he was supposed to keep after me the way he did when making a sale). The calls and texts annoyed me as this was completely unprofessional, not to mention I was busy at the time. The co-owner of the dealership tried to call me and "resolve" the situation but the damage was done. Apparently Dean was being forced to apologize to me but I didn't want to hear it. I told them that the only way I'd buy the car was if they fired Dean. Of course, they didn't reply directly to that statement. Never expected to get this treatment from people I was trying to buy a car from. They didn't get attitudes until I decided I would wait until Monday. Will not go back. Worst service from the MANAGER, DEAN. UPDATE: Went back in on Wednesday after being begged by multiple employees. They claimed they would redeem themselves with their "amazing customer service." I was told I would only deal with the co-owner (Trey) and the Internet Sales manager (Mike). After five minutes of them saying how supposedly great their sales numbers were (which I had already heard on the phone), they handed me off to a salesman named Coley (nicest employee they have). Not before Mike could tell me that the car I wanted was sold that same morning! Seems suspicious to me. We got to the dealership at 10:00 am and they open at 8:00 am. When I was told this, I immediately knew they were trying to play me. There were only 2 other customers in the building and they were together. I know they did not buy the car as we circled the entire lot on the test drive (even around back where the cars are cleaned and serviced) and the car was no where to be found. I feel that I was lied to about this particular car being sold because I had a text message from the salesman to prove that he lowered the price to $215.00 a month from over $350.00 that the payments started at. When I asked if the car I liked from Wednesday could be lowered below $250, they said absolutely not. (THIS CAR WAS CHEAPER) I also have been asked to take this review down from Google by the manager. NOT HAPPENING!!!!!! People need to know how awful this place is before they spend their money at North Strand Nissan. I also forgot to mention that after my initial visit, Justin texted me a few days later at almost 1:00 am just to say "hey did you get a new phone" UNPROFESSIONAL. It is extremely clean and the people that work here super super friendly and make you feel welcome and right at home. They are working out the Kinks of a new place but have some of the best customer service I've ever seen Down South while living in South Carolina. I have a 2009 Nissan Murano with 174,500 miles. I had some repairs this year including rotation of my tires. I also had them change the oil which they overfilled causing my vehicle to leak and HI Pressure Power Steering Hose also leaking and had them fix the leaks for $1,875.00. I didn't have any leaks until they worked on my vehicle. I thought I could trust them. Now for the latest. I recently traveled to Delaware for a Funeral on January 9, 2018. While traveling thru Washington, DC.& Baltimore, MD. I noticed noises in the front end of my vehicle. I stopped at the rest stop and looked all around my vehicle. I didn't see anything wrong. I continued on to Delaware to where we were going to stay for 2 nights. The next day after the Funeral I called a local Nissan Dealership asking if they would check my vehicle for a Safety Check. They would not help me that day. So because it was late afternoon I waited until the next morning and called another Nissan Dealership near by, they also would not help me that day. I needed to have it checked ASAP. So with no success I continued to travel back to home in SC. On the way I called the Nissan Dealership outside of Richmond, VA. They said they would look at it but NO promises. On the way there the noise was getting louder. I was about 10 miles from the Dealership and All of a Sudden we heard a LOUD SOUND!!! I thought the Tire Blew!!! I pulled to the Right of the Highway and we saw the Left Front Tire Passing US on the other side of the Road. No One was close by and No One was hurt. I called AAA for a Tow to the Nissan Dealership that I was taking it too. When the Tow Truck and I arrived there they sent us to a Body Shop Nearby. An Allstate Adjuster checked my vehicle on Monday, January 15 and I found out that 3 of the Wheel Lug Bolts Threads were Stripped. 2 Other Lug Bolts were Broken. I had this Vehicle Checked Prior to my trip to Delaware which the Service Representative knew I was Traveling to Delaware. When I returned home to SC. I spoke to the Service Manager at Little River Nissan, SC. where I had all the service done on the car. I told him what happened and I received a Negative Response. Then I told him I wanted to speak to the Manager. He gave me his name. I went to the Receptionist and she paged him. She found out he left for the day. Do you think I'm Stupid!!! He most likely got tipped off Buy GUESS WHO!!! Nissan will Not BE Getting My Business. I may contact Nissan Corporation Head Quarters!!! Also I asked the Service Manager when they hire Tech's and Mechanic's Do They Drug Test prior to Hiring. His answer was NO, Why Should We!!! So Much for Reliability!!!
