I was recommended NVFB by my neighbor. I saw her shutters installed. I knew I had to do it. Called to get an appointment and estimate. The owner came over and did all the measuring and then I chose the shutter. With his expert help.... I was so happy. He said it will take 10-12 weeks. It was about 10 weeks. I get the call. Yes!! Scheduled the install. Everything went perfectly. My installer was in time and professional. My rooms look beautiful!!! This company is fabulous. So have been remodeling my house for the last 5 months man what a Journey learned alot the good unfortunately the bad part of it was lighting and fans these guys were the good supper Knowledgeable grate selection of nicer fans and lights and good prices but what set them apart from everyone elea was a had a bad controller that goes in the fan that went bad I called them to see what to do instead of making me wait for one from the manufacture to warranty it they open new fan game me one out of there that's going well beyond what any company would ever do I will be a customer for life and I will send everyone to them read more

We needed a fan for a vaulted ceiling that wouldn't take away from the aesthetics of the room. We visited North Valley Fans & Blinds and not only do they have such a big selection to choose from, they were also extremely helpful and informative. They helped ensure we got the right size and had options for extension rods for the installer to have for the delivery and install appointment. Install went smooth and love fan in that room. Ummmmmmm listen up everyone. Who woulda' thought I'd be shouting from the rooftop about shutters and ceiling fans but.....I sure am....loud and proud!!! The owner is a great guy who provides complimentary upgrades on shutters that the other companies charge for. Also, the pricing here is MUCH lower than the other companies but with HIGHER quality! I know! This is not a joke. We received estimates from several companies and choosing North Valley is a real no-brainer. Just save yourself now and go there. Also.....with the purchase of window coverings (of any sort), they provide a discount on all ceiling fans AND install the ceiling fans FOR FREE. And they are VERY high-quality ceiling fans. Trust me!!! We have what we thought were super high quality fans from lowes and they are trash and still don't work right (I'm serious - they suck and they were the most expensive kind). We ended up receiving 3 HUGE beautiful ceiling fans at a discount and with free pro installation. Every installer was extremely fast for all things here!!!!!! This review is way overdue - I wanted to share what a positive experience I had with North Valley Fans and Blinds. Moving into a new home, you learn very quick how expensive window treatments cost AND that there is no such thing as 3-days - there is a wait of at least 6 weeks. North Valley walked me through all my options, gave me a great price with a realistic timeline of when they would be ready (and were 1 week early). Measuring and Installation was a breeze, it is a family business the owners son in law measured AND bought me TEMPORARY blinds that were a huge help with the sun and privacy and then his brother came to instal (NEAT and Quick). I have searched high and low for a unique light that wouldn't break the bank. NVF is amazing no pressure and very knowledgeable about LED lighting. Installation was included in the pricing which in my case was a no brainer since the same light else-way was the same price as they were. The installer was professional and clean. read more

Recently updated our contractor grade ceiling fans with beautiful modern and quiet Minka Aires. Came across this business after trips to big box stores and hours on the internet. There is nothing like coming to see your light fixtures in person. Owner was very helpful and the prices were right. Could not be happier with our purchases. Not knowing exactly what we wanted he went through ever option possible and gave us the pros and cons of each product which helped us narrow down what we wanted. They were straight forward and honest about pricing and came and measured while the movers were moving us in. Did not mind the chaos at all. Usually responded with in a day via email. Back in July we moved into our new home and received a bajillion flyers. One of the flyers was from these fine folks, with a discount code. We needed fans and overhead lights for the house, so we decided to pay them a visit. Their storefront is pretty small, but *REALLY* cool. They've got some really great stuff here. We were instantly greeted by a sales rep, and she listened to what we wanted and was able to make some perfect suggestions. She even talked me into an industrial-looking eight blade fan for the living room which I would NEVER have considered, but which ended up looking amazing. We made appointments for the fans to be installed, and there were... well... difficulties. For future generations, you have to understand how tumultuous the years have been between 2019-202(2). IT'S HARD TO GET THANGS! They weren't able to deliver and install our fans for a few months, which was fine. And then there was a further delay, but that was also fine. You can't get upset- it's out of everyone's control (except for the Illuminati, which... if you're reading this... sign me up!). Anyhoo, our fans started to come in, incrementally, and they were installed and they were all awesome. Until the fan in our master bedroom started to click. I called them- no problemo, they sent someone out to take a look and he fixed it. Then... a few months later... it clicked again. Once more I called, and no problemo, they came right out and fixed it. They seem to really stand by their product, and everyone whom I've interacted with has been absolutely awesome. If you're looking for fans or lighting solution, these are the people you should talk to! read more

I have three 2 lamp Art Specialty Flexo fluorescent drafting table lights. They were all made…read morebetween 1943 and 1953. They are great fixtures but they each use 2 small magnetic ballasts. The lamps worked but buzzed annoyingly and could not find anyone who knew what ballasts would fit and work correctly. I searched the internet for hours with no luck and began to think no one knew of, much less stocked, ballasts that could replace the original 65 to 75 year old magnetic ballasts. I decided to try City Lights in Phoenix. To my amazement, the City Light guys knew what would work and even told me the ballast case of the ballasts they stocked could be removed so the the ballasts would fit my fixture. They were reasonably priced and I ordered a set. They arrived in 2 days and looked well made and worked perfect. I'm set for another 65 to 75 years thanks to City lights. Don Larson

Some cute selections, and price wise, it is a higher price point than what you'd find at Home Depot, but also many more options. Plus probably because it's all lighting, the price point is a little more steep. They did have some sales going on that brought the prices down quite a bit for some items, so was definitely worth checking out. I did end up finding a selection of what I was looking for but took some photos and will have to make a decision with the Mr. And make sure he deems it a solid selection for us. At the in-store sale and order back on 4/17/2026, for less than a month for completion. The installation team of Grabrail and Byron first had to remove our twenty-year-old awning. This process left many stucco holes that had to be repaired. They stepped up and painted them so no repairs showed. Our patio protection is back and looks great again.
