There were also 3-4 other kids waiting in the lobby. Registration was painless and the lady at registration was very nice and caring. The nurses at triage were great and helped me since I had two little with me. After his appointment, they let me stay in the room awhile to feed him while one of the nurses came in to entertain and walk my daughter around the halls to occupy her. We were only there in and out in an hour, even with me feeding my son. Now I can't say they will always have a short wait, but highly recommend getting a time online if you can to be seen immediately.

I got a cream which has been helping the rash I came in for but he told me I would need to use it twice a day for two weeks but the cream I received was not enough. I called back to ask if I could be sent more of the cream to follow his treatment plan of twice a day and then if it did not improve go see dermatology. The representatives on the phone told me the same provider was not at the location today and the current provider did not feel comfortable sending more cream in which I understand. I asked if a message could be sent directly to Paul Saby but instead the "nurse" who could relay message had a condescending attitude and told me they had connected me to her since I didn't want to accept the initial explanation from the first representative. I was not asking for a refill for the cream, I simply wanted to follow the treatment plan of using the cream twice a day for two weeks and I knew I would need more cream to finish out the two weeks especially since the cream is working.

April 22, five years later, I live in Winder now and I had a heart attack and my son took me to Winder Hospital where they didn't have a heart surgeon available. I was rushed over here to Braselton to the ER for emergency surgery and then spent the last three days in ICU, recovering from an unexpected heart attack and experience. I never thought I would have to go through. The staff here has been phenomenal. From the surgery by Dr Patel to the nurses who care for me for three days I had unbelievable care, my day nurse Deborah was outstanding and having never spent time in intensive care. They made it as pleasant as could be. Having met my first major medical issue in years, I thought it necessary to give this hospital a a review from the patient's side, not from a caregiver side, which is a totally different perspective. From being loaded in the ambulance and Winder and Durban over here that only was the Winder staff on point and supportive, the ambulance, driver and support in the back was comforting, and kept me calm, to the welcoming at the ER and finding my way to awaiting surgeons standing in the hallway to perform emergency surgery, I remained comfortable, the staff, and I wish I could name them. All allowed me to get through this experience to a quick recovery that I cannot be more appreciative of. And although I haven't got the bill, which will probably put me back in the hospital. I was reminded each time they ripped hair for to put new sticky pads on that. This was a free wax job, if losing a few hairs was the worst part of the process. I think I can live with that. She kept coming into my room and severely criticizing the doctor who was in charge of me. She made all sorts of crazy claims about him, and she really wanted me to know how bad of a person AND a doctor that he was. I was shocked. I liked the doctor. He was very thorough, friendly, and professional. Yet all afternoon she would come in telling me that "he was ignoring (me)", that she "was left alone to care for me", (and much worse) etc. She also told me horrible things about the hospital, and their management. She repeated her "ranting visits" for hours. I felt like I was in that movie "Misery", stuck there...with this angry woman. Her bizarre behaviors and angry comments were very disturbing (needless to say). I was already in pain, and she added a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety to my "visit". I have called the hospital several times over the past week about what happened, but they haven't returned ONE of my calls.

The nurse I saw (Elizabeth) was great. Pain became debilitating day after visit. Called, several times, trying to get a callback, leave a voicemail etc all of which were refused by whomever would answer. In addition on 9/27/2023 I get a txt to pay a bill. Should of owed $40 for an injection. Instead they chose to bill AGAIN for the visit, and the injection. The bill was received 9/27/2023 and is DUE the same day, leaving no time to get a correct bill. Called and attempted to get it resolved, and after being told it was fixed and i could now pay the $40 balance, I'm still being billed for the visit and injection. It's a shame the nurse I saw isn't at a reputable clinic since she was good and actually listen to me.
