I hate leaving negative reviews for anyone, but I reached out to Northeast locksmiths two weeks ago. I said I had a problem with my sliding door lock, and while it's not urgent enough to pay an emergency surcharge would like it fixed as soon as possible. They were so friendly and set up an appointment for 9:00 AM Monday, I felt really good even without a quote. 10:00 AM Monday rolls around and I figured I would call, I'm working from home anyway. I get the same guy I spoke with on Saturday, and he was very apologetic that he forgot to add me to the schedule but could send someone out that afternoon. I still felt great and the tech came and checked out the door. He said he needed to order a part and would call us when it came in. I checked back in on Wednesday and the part hadn't arrived so I waited until Friday and got no answer. I called again the following Monday and was told there was a covid scare but the part came in they were just awaiting results. I totally appreciate that but would have liked a follow up. I called again Thursday and spoke to the same person and said everything came back negative and would personally fix it on Friday at 3:00-3:30. I have not been able to connect with them all afternoon and after two weeks will likely look to another locksmith and start the process all over. The only communication was when I called and had several missed appointments and no follow up from their end. read more

Came out quickly after my contacting them. Fixed the door that kept sticking and not matching at the strike plate. This after I had paid three different handymen to work on it. They also changed the lock at the same time, which I didn't tell them ahead of time. Polite, professional, and fast. What more can you ask for? I recommend them highly. read more

They came out quickly and got into the house in a minute or two. No problem there......I was told over the phone that the price was going to be $150 and after 5 months (and I called twice asking them what the problem was) and they finally take the money out of my account and surprise surprise they charged me $220. When I call I keep getting a voice recording saying that the mail box is full. What a scam. read more

I used the Methuen location. Overcharged my credit card by $100. James said he'd refund my card, then said he mailed a check, then said he'd drop off a check, then again said he'd drop off a check, then swore he'd drop off a check. Two weeks later, still no refund. I really thought it was an honest mistake, now it's onbvious he ripped me off. if you're looking for a locksmith in Methuen, I've since heard Dube is very good.
