BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!! SNAKES WHO WANT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY! Be weary of this company as they did some sketchy things to get additional money from our insurance and ultimately we ended up having to pay for it. We were assured in the beginning that no work would begin until insurance approved the work and the cost. Work started and we were told twice that they needed to keep the equipment at our house for additional days. Our insurance company requested a third party audit who also did not agree with the charges and northeast powerdry refused to come to an agreement with our insurance. After many phone calls and false promises from Ned (the gentleman who told us we would not have to deal with any charges and continued to tell us "not to worry about it" and "i'll make this right") we ended up getting charged without notification for the difference that our insurance would not pay. This company is ultimately out to get the highest price from insurance companies and was awful to deal with. The workers who came to the house were professional and friendly, however Ned and Rhea were not. Please do yourself a favor and find a better company to use as these people are crooks. We attempted many times to speak with a higher up from management and nobody returned our calls. read more

Imagine waking up on a normal Sunday morning. Walk downstairs and see that your whole basement is flooded. I'm talking about 2 inches of water taking over my whole basement! We had a sewer backup and basically the whole carpeting and the walls were destroyed...I didn't know where to start! I had a water leak coming from my 2nd floor bathroom which cause damage and mole growth onto the ceiling below. After contacting The Power Dry service their team arrived the next day at the schedule time and clean out the mole growth and removed the damaged area of the ceiling and placed a dehumidifiers, and Hepa filters fan to completely clean the air and dry the ceiling opening. This was to prevent future dangerous mole growth and to get the ceiling ready to repair. They answer all my questions and concerns and their professionalism come across in their quality of the work. I was very satisfied with Power Dry respond to my unfortunate situation and would recommend the company and their team to provide the service you would expect. Hopefully you won't need this type of service, but if a water leak issue happens in your home or work place contact this team. During my son's family graduation party on Sunday evening, we had a sewage pipe back-up that flooded our basement with raw sewage. The sewage service guy suggested that I call NE Power Dry while he was still onsite. The project manager arrived in about an hour to assess the situation. He then got on the phone with our insurance company to go over everything that had happened and what needed to be done, and then got his clean-up crew to start the clean-up and disinfecting process. They stayed until 1:30 a.m. until everything was finished. The remediation crew came in the next morning to cut out the contaminated areas of the walls and install 9 commercial-grade fans throughout the downstairs to dry everything out and protect against mold. Everyone was extremely polite, professional, and neat, and made the process so much easier for us to handle. Came home last Sunday to a flooded basement do to a sump pump breakage. I was lucky enough to get the sump pump replaced that day and then Monday morning called my Insurance co. They recommended Northeast Power Dry to re mediate the situation. Under a very stressful situation, Joe came in that morning. He was professional, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I had a finished basement so many things were ruined (including the rug). He explained to me what I needed to do and had 2 men (that afternoon) with all their equipment in order to dry out my basement. Even they were neat, efficient and punctual. Last Thursday, and hour after my husband received his first chemo treatment, we discovered a leak in our bathroom that spread to the kitchen ceiling. After our plumber found the broken pipe he immediately called Northeast Power Dry. First thing the next morning Joe Schmitz arrived and eased my mind about the possibility of mold growing in the very wet areas of the bathroom and kitchen. He worked out all the logistics while being very patient due to extensive electrical and plumbing repairs that were being done. Once the plumbers were gone Julio and Ron arrived and very efficiently knocked down the bathroom and the kitchen ceiling and set up the fans. Recently, we had a pipe burst leaving our basement filled with water. Unfortunately, we were not able to get to it quickly enough, so it left significant damage. Basement bathroom sewer ejector pump failed yesterday and you can imagine the mess that came up the shower drain and leaked onto my utility room floor, creeping out toward my finished basement.
