Pre-COVID review…read more Wow, it seems like some people have had really bad experiences with Allegiant. Fortunately I haven't had any awful experiences so far with this budget airline (knock on wood). I've used Allegiant for their nonstop flights to Orlando Sanford and Fort Myers. I personally really like nonstop flights so I try to find them whenever possible. Allegiant is definitely a budget airline where you have to pay for everything, including your seat, carry on, checked luggage, and food and beverages on board. There are no fancy entertainment systems on these planes. I don't really mind that as I typically sleep on flights anyway. I am willing to pay for convenience, and the nonstop flights that Allegiant provides is that convenience. I usually only travel with a carry on so that helps cut down on costs a bit (but you still have to pay for that). Be sure to bring snacks and a bottle for water, as they don't even offer a complimentary cup of water on these flights. A small bottle is $3. On one of the Allegiant flights, my boyfriend and I purchased a cheese and charcuterie package for $6 which was actually very delicious and a great snack for our quick flight. I have more trips coming up with Allegiant (edit: well, I did until COVID happened!) and I intend to book more flights with them in the future.

In the process of booking, as soon as I mentioned Groupon, suddenly 'they were booked for Groupons on that night.' I questioned if this was the case for other regular priced bookings, and he stuttered, and said 'uhh no, Im serious' and stuttered through some more obvious BS. I was told to call Groupon and cancel, that they'd give my money back. TERRIBLE customer service, absolutely no attempt to even try to sound as if the 'Groupon booked' was legitimate, or appease me as a customer in any way. Not sure what kind of scam this business is trying to pull, but I would advise anyone considering them to steer clear of this place.

We told her we would meet her and she said she cancelled their ride. They almost missed their flight and we had to rush them 45 minutes to the airport, William never ever initiated anything!! I had to ask for an apology, and here we are months later no refund. He said they switched companies and would try to process and every time I asked for an update nothing. Today when I notified him I would do a review and file a case to get our refund he said he will prepare his lawsuit against us. This is not a good businessman. He should have taken care of this that day to process a refund and calling us with updates.
