Give yourself plenty of time just to scan all their myriad of products. As for services, not only do they sharpen all types of blades from kitchen to mower, fix window screens, but they also repair lamps at a very reasonable cost! This was my father's favorite Saturday store for the fifties, sixties, and seventies and is now mine. I have so many good memories of him taking me by the hand and teaching what was needed to fix everything from squeaky floor to running toilet tank. It's become a valued family resource on all things home, yard, and business!

The old part needed to be tapped out because new screws are slightly larger than the old holes will take. She found me a 10-24 tap and let me use it to clean up the part. I bought a couple of screws and the door is now functioning again. Never get that at the big box. Prices are higher and selection more limited, but the folks I've encountered were knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks!

Lowe's hired a subcontractor who hired another contractor. The secondary subcontractor installed my…read moredryer which has the steam dryer water valve. They did not tighten the water valve. It dripped for over a month into the hardwood flooring and into my bathroom ceiling below. The secondary did not have the proper insurance to even be installing the dryer. Lowes blew me off and I could not actually get a response back. Once they did, they connected me with the wrong primary subcontractor. CRST, NOT Merck. Now CRST Liberty Mutual, their insurance wants to pay the least amount to fix all of the damage. This has been going on for almost a year. No one wants to take full accountability and fix the problem that was created by all of them! LOWES, CRST and Liberty Mutual. I want my home to be back as while before this mess started.
