I have visited this laundromat several times over the last few years. In my experience, the staff, generally one person on duty at any given time, is helpful. On one occasion, I had forgotten my bleach at home. It's always clean and the attendant is nice . They never really have any broken machines it's well kept

we used this business for a fluff and fold service when visiting from out of town. We called ahead for info and they were clear and concise. This was different than others so we went with them . They have clear time deadlines for getting your clothes in and this when they will be ready and the turn around was great. I think it was in by 12 for same day or by 4 for 24 hr I could have that wrong because I let a month go by now so call ahead. They did a great job with our clothes and had them ready as requested. They are in a strip mall between the foothills and campus so convenient and beside other shops that you may need. The staff was friendly and efficient. Clean place. I'd use them again. If they were closer to campus, i'd have my kid use them during school rather than deal with the campus machines. read more

I was visiting Tucson from out of town, and found this gem in the area. Clean facility with upscale washers & it's very techy. The attendant was darling and very helpful in assisting with helping me wash my sleeping bags. You pay for the washer driver through quarters, but there is a machine where you can put cash in for quarters. There is also an atm to get cash out. Overall a great experience! Avoid this place ! Their so called agitating washers cost $2.25 for 26 minutes (without an option to add minutes) it takes 4 + minutes for washer to fill leaving about 21 + - minutes. The wash cycle is about 5 minutes leaving about 16 minutes, Next wash /spin 2 minutes, now 14 minutes left. Drain 1 minute and refill for rinse another 4 + minutes leaving 9 minutes for a 5 minute rinse... Remaining 4 minutes for spin cycle... Work cothes cannot be cleaned in a 5 minute wash cycle !!! $2.25 for 5 minutes of agitation WITHOUT THE NORMAL .25 CENT OPTION FOR EXTRA WASH TIME ! ON PIMA AT CRAYCROFT, CLOSE BY 7/11 IS A LAUNDROMAT THAT GIVES YOU 39 MINUTES FOR $2.00, & FOR AN EXTRA QUARTER YOU GET AN ADDITIONAL 10 MINS....I'm NEVER coming back to this place ! read more

Worst laundromat ever!! Moldy washing machines. I had to scope out several machines to find one that didn't have visible black mold--a major health hazard. On top of that the machines ruined over 100 dollars worth of clothes.Tons of lint and other debris in washers. Nightmare! They condescendingly tried to tell me it was from my clothes and that I mixed them wrong. I've been doing laundry for decades; I know what I'm doing. And, yes,I know not to over stuff the machines. This was after two washes and a dry. Will not come clean. To top it off the dryers barely work to where you end up feeding them a truckload of quarters. Gave up eventually and went home to hang them on clothes line. So, if you want to be exposed to toxic poison, get ripped off and have your wardrobe ruined, this place is for you. read more

I drop off my laundry here for wash & fold services every 2 weeks for months now and they're fantastic. It's roughly $20 for a full hamper, you can bring your own detergent if you like, and my clothes are always returned sparkling clean. If you're in central Tucson I wouldn't go anywhere else for wash & fold services. read more

I've visited this place twice, and both times were positive experiences. The owner, Clarise, is a total sweetheart and extremely friendly to all customers. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in her shop. The free WiFi is great. Machines are plentiful and priced fairly. While I was there, she had a couple technicians working to bring up a washer that stopped working. I think she must keep them as close to 100% operational as she can. The bathroom is spacious. Clarise also gave me a bottle of ice cold water Because she said I looked hot. I will be going back for sure. read more

I am hoping that the owner is reading this. He is in a competitive business and cannot afford to have a rude and selfish manager who turns away business as a result of a selfish and uncontrolled ego. I wish him luck but I would guess that we're not the only customers which the business has lost as a result. My wife and I, who are both disabled, have been bringing in our laundry for wash and fold service but the laundry which we had been using closed as a result of the Covid 19 situation. We decided to try Northgate which was close to home, clean, and attractive. On our first visit the owner appeared without a mask and when I questioned that, he said he would be sure to have one next time, which he did when we returned to pick up our laundry. We were happy with the service. When we returned with a new load of laundry we were met by a young lady without a mask and when we requested that she put one on, she refused and after a short discussion we were told that she would do what she wants in her establishment and that we should take our business elsewhere, which we have done. read more

If I could use minus stars I would. I have used Northgate for almost 3 years now. The new management has run the place into the ground. The washes and drys are more expensive, clothes don't come clean and dryers won't heat. Granted they provide a monthly free laundry for the homeless, but does that justify treating current cusromers like trash? When dropping off or picking up laundry all of the staff, including the owners, rarely if ever wear masks. And they certainly don't enforce the mask rule for their customers. When I asked a child who ran up on me and stood at the counter to "Please move back you are too close" I was told by the owner to "Never talk that way again". I replied that I was polite and said please. She stated "This is my place of business, these kids don't know the government doesn't know crap". Her husband is nice, but she is soooo rude. Why own a business if you keep running your customers off? As the other person said, I hope the owners are reading this! read more

Place is decently clean I'll give it that but the attendant whom im sure was the owner is a nightmare. Won't leave you alone to your business like a helicopter mom who has to tell you you're doing everything wrong. I am far to old for that nonsense. I had called ahead to make sure they had a coin machine or able to make change for the larger amount i needed and stressed i had a large amount of laundry. I was just told "quarters are for customers only." The lack of listening skills should have been my first red flag to avoid this place. read more

Let me start off be saying that I come to this laundromat at least once a week. And I have never had any problems here at all Until tonight. I always have around the same amount of laundry. Two loads. I use two different washing machines. No, my laundry is not 12 pounds, or over. Switching my laundry over tonight, I noticed that one of the washers was still full of water. It didn't wash completely through. When I notified Norma, she was quite rude! She told me that it wasnt her problem, that I shouldn't have put over 12 pounds of laundry in the washer. She told me to wash it again and use two different washers for one load...seriously!? So I went with my better judgement and used only one. And it washed just fine. I have never had a problems with any of the workers there. They are all nice, and personable. The way that Norma talked to me in front of coustomers is completely uncalled for. I think she needs a bit more training. She handled me situation completely wrong. read more

Terrible service. I asked Karla the attendant to help me with settings on a machine that was all electronic. I was washing a down coat and told her I needed cold water and a gentle cycle. She started the machine and pressed gentle cycle after which she attempted without success to switch from warm water settings to cold. When she realized that cannot be done, she blamed it on me saying that I had asked for the gentle cycle. She obviously did not know how use the machine. She told me she had no way of turning off the machine. She did not apologize for her incompetence and also made rude comments about me. She refused to give me the cell of the owner. I did send an email to the address provided by the counter but never heard back from the owners. This was more of a New York experience but very unusual for Tucsonian hospitality. Trashy and unpleasant place and my jacket did get damaged. read more

I alleged the attendant stole $5.00 of my quarters and then refused to discuss the issue with when she was the only one standing at the machine when it went missing. I also saw nice bulges of what appeared to be the outline of quarters in her front pockets. I actually stopped by to chat with the owner, who did not care about looking into the matter despite having video surveillance available. I would stay away from this place. read more

Contrary to the Midtown location, Northgate Laundromat provides reasonably priced washers, dryers, and detergents. Excellent Customer Service! The facility is clean and presentable.
