Originally bought our camper at Camping World 5 years ago. Have had nothing but bad experiences…read morewith their service department since. Had to have some work done this year ( water pump wasn't working). Took it to Weekend RV, they told me they were about 2 weeks out in the service department, due to the fact its November and everyone is needing winterization. I was expecting to pay hundreds of dollars for a new water pump to be installed. Turns out the tech got the old pump working and 7 days later my camper was ready for pickup. My bill was less than $100 and that was with a new door key I requested. I feel like most dealers would have just replaced it anyway because i had authorized the work, but Weekend RV didn't. Everyone that I have talked to there was very professional and personable, the staff is awesome and obviously puts customer service a priority over the evil dollar. Today we needed a regulator for my fathers camper, neither big box stores had one in stock, called Weekend RV and it was in stock and almost 20% cheaper. From now on they have all my families business and this important to us because we average 30 plus nights a year at various racing events and are always boone docking. Highly recommended dealer

My wife and I have been interested in the RV lifestyle for some time, but not until we retired…read morecould we begin to start down the path less trod. We bought our first camping trailer in Nashville. It was a used Rockwood trailer, just a year old, and the previous owners obviously had not used it much because it was a perfect starter camper. Our first year, we traveled over 6,000 trouble-free miles and the RV bug hit. We were hooked. We also have three cats, so it was important that they be able to come with us. During that first summer, we visited 17 states and Alberta, Canada. When we came home, we began to ask fellow RV'ers what dealership they would go to for regular service and intermittent problems. We got several suggestions, but when we went to the dealer, we were less than impressed, and surprising so when we went to one of the larger name familiar dealers. Finally, one of my work associates told me about Weekend RV. He was totally sold on their service and so I made an appointment for a routine service and boy am I glad I did. Even though I did not buy my trailer from Weekend RV, they treated me like family -- a real rarity nowadays. I was ecstatic; I had found my RV specialists in a big way. And I cannot say enough about their service, their knowledge, their friendly staff and their reasonable prices. I've dropped by on a number of occasions and they already know my name! Kind of like Cheers! Haha! Last week, while preparing for another 4,000 mile snow bird trip to Phoenix, I went to Weekend RV to inquire about some minor issues with my camper. What I never intended, however, was to set my eyes on another Rockwood that was 2021 model. It was a beauty, complete with a fireplace!! I couldn't believe the price. Even without my trade in, it was an absolute steal. So much better than any other RV dealers within a 467 mile radius. The deal was made, the paperwork will be signed on Monday, and we'll be cruising along the long and winding road, in our new Rockwood trailer.

1 STAR -- FOUR WEEKS, HOURS OF DRIVING, REPEATED PROMISES, AND…read more ALMOST NOTHING DONE Our experience with Campers Inn RV in Knoxville was completely unacceptable. We called ahead and were explicitly told by an Airstream service representative that we had an appointment for Friday, August 14 at 9:00 a.m. We planned our trip around that appointment and drove approximately 8 HOURS from our vacation destination to this dealership on our way home. When we arrived, we discovered NO APPOINTMENT HAD EVER BEEN MADE FOR US-- not for August 14 and not for a future date. After driving eight hours based on an appointment we were told we had, this was an unbelievable way to begin our experience. Our main concern was a leak in the bedroom ceiling. We were told there was a hole in the conduit going to the A/C, yet the panel wasn't even removed to properly inspect the area and verify that diagnosis. We agreed to leave the RV after being told parts would need to be ordered and panels removed to address the A/C issue. We specifically requested that Joe, the Airstream technician, be the only technician to work on our RV. We also asked them to check the brakes, perform a 12-point inspection, replace the shower door, and repair a short in the couch wiring. When we returned later that same day to retrieve our belongings, we discovered someone from service had used the restroom in our RV. We then asked that the black tank be drained promptly so sewage wouldn't sit in it while the RV was there. Our RV then sat at their facility for FOUR WEEKS. During those four weeks, we repeatedly contacted the service department and were repeatedly told the technician would "get right on it." Yet other Airstreams that arrived after ours were being worked on first. When we questioned this, a service representative told us those Airstreams had smaller jobs, so they were working on them ahead of ours. So while we continued being told they would "get right on" our RV, later arrivals with smaller jobs were being moved ahead of us. Meanwhile, our RV continued to sit. After FOUR WEEKS, the short in the couch wiring had been repaired and a screw in the A/C mount had been replaced. THAT WAS IT. The main reason we brought the RV there--the bedroom ceiling leak--was still not resolved, along with most of the other work we requested. We finally contacted the service manager CHRIS, who assured us he would come up with a solution and CALL US BACK. That call never came. By September 12, we had had enough. We drove another 3 1/2 HOURS to Knoxville simply to pick up our RV and take it back. We understand that service departments get busy. What we don't understand is repeatedly telling a customer their technician will "get right on it," while openly acknowledging that RVs arriving later are being worked on first because their jobs are smaller. This wasn't simply a delay. It was poor organization, poor communication, lack of followthrough, and ultimately a failure to address the primary reason we brought our RV there in the first place. After an appointment that was never actually made, hours of driving, four weeks of waiting, repeated assurances, other Airstreams being moved ahead of ours, no promised callback from management, and unfinished work, WE WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION FOR RV SERVICE

I told the service department when I needed the camper back and as usual they didn't touch the camper until I called 2 weeks later. I was told on Friday they couldn't find the leak and would not be charged. The following Monday the service manager said I could come and get the camper which was one day before I was to go camping. I asked him if they found the leak he said yes. I was charged a fee ($221) for something they didn't repair other than make a mess with the underpinning and the doors and walls inside camper were a greasy mess. When I got back from camping and of course it rained. I had water being held in the underpinning with the leak they did not fix. I will never purchase another Rv from Chilhowee RV, nor have anything repaired.

Bought an extended warranty at the time we purchased the motor home. The service Manager now seems like he could care less about customers. When we bought the unit and the extended warranty we were told we would get priority service. We did the first couple of years. But since getting service has been less than that. Called in the first week of Sept. and told them about a problem. Wayne the service manager said well I can not get you in until the late to middle of Oct. Over 45 days. Told him we needed the repair by the end of Sept. because our daughter was having a baby and we had to make a trip the 1st of Oct. he could care less and said all the dealers and repair shops were backed up. Well they maybe, but we found two other shops willing to work us in. Both said it was a small problem and a quick fix when I explained the problem over the phone. We are planning on buying a new unit later this year. I think we will look at other dealers that care about customers.

Worst dealership I've ever dealt with in my 62 years of buying cars!…read more I tell everybody I see not to even set foot on these crooks parking lot! I made a HUGE mistake buying a 2026 Trax from them. They only gave me $4,000 for my trade in and then I saw it on line for $10,000 + all the crooked fees I'm sure they added to it. I also made a stupid mistake of paying $5,000 down. If I hadn't done that, I would have taken the car back and left it at their door, but I couldn't afford to throw away $5,000. Scott flew through the paperwork and didn't explain or discuss the $3,500 he added in extra charges. They saw an elderly 82 yr. old woman and took advantage of me big time! I'm barely 5' tall and it was when I was driving the car home that I discovered the car was WAY too big for me to drive. I couldn't even see over the huge hood or if I was in my lane or not. Then when I finally made it home, I couldn't even get out of the car as my feet lacked 10" reaching the ground. So I have to jump out on a deformed and painful hip! I'm too scared to drive the car because it takes up an entire lane and I can't see the sides of the road over the huge hood. So it just sits in the carport and I have to pay Ethra to take me to my doctors. Bottom line is...this car is totally unacceptable! I started telling these issues to the salesman and that I needed to return it. All he said was that he didn't know anything that could be done. So why did they have on their web site "OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE YOU WITH AN EXCELLENT PURCHASE AND OWNERSHIP EXPERIENCE"! When I told them that was just a big LIE, then their web site was changed and that motto is no longer on there! I wrote the owner of the dealership, Charles West, a 2 page certified letter explaining my age and physical handicaps that inhibit me from driving the car. I begged him for help and he didn't even have the decency to respond to my letter! I told my story to GM Financial and GM Customer Care and nobody would help me! So the paper floor mat in my car that says "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS OUR #1 GOAL" is another big fat LIE!!! Other reviewers mentioned that they won't return calls or e-mails and that's true too. I have sent Scott numerous e-mails asking that he cancel the OPTIONAL charges he added to my invoice and he just ignores them! I've only had the car a few weeks, and now there's no option left but to get rid of it. I will be selling it to Carmax and I'm LOSING $6,000.00!!!
