They will special order food for you and answer any questions you have about pet food or products, and they pride themselves on doing research about their products, to ensure quality. In addition, they have hired (always) the best staff. Each staff member has their own knowledge set and will also answer questions. They also are wonderful about retaining customers' names for that added personal touch. Their staff is intelligent, polite, kind, and helpful. I am so grateful to have this business in Hales Corners. They'll get your dog in, vaccinated, and out in a blink. And, then conveniently, all their vaccination records are quickly emailed over to you. We do also stop by on occasion for this or that for one of our three dogs or two cats and the store itself is generally neat and the service is generally friendly. We also sometimes pick up a fish or two here for our aquariums and they also have a decent selection. I've mostly got female bettas for my tank and they're always lovely. Beyond that they do usually have a cat or two up for adoption in their small adoption area. This is our favorite Petco location in the metro and while we don't get the majority of our pet food and supplies here, glad to have them when we need them! Get to it!

They do not call the proper number, I am not notified that services are completed, then they catch an attitude with me at pickup because I didn't answer the phone number that I DONT HAVE ANYMORE. If we can't change anything so simple, how are they to be trusted with my boy? This would be unacceptable in a daycare for children.

Sadly, this store is also pretty awful though it does smell much better than the one in the Falls. Staff working throughout the store pay no attention to you so don't expect to get any help if you need it. When it was time to check out, the cashier did not greet me and did not respond when I greeted her. Knowing that their gift card process is pretty 1990s, I had a Post It Note on the gift card with the remaining balance but when I presented it, the cashier told me, "I don't know how to do those." She called someone else over and apparently today was not her day to learn gift cards because she went to the other register and helped the next customer. It took two other people to process the gift card, both of which had eyes only for the cash register, it's like I wasn't even there. The only further interaction was asking if I wanted a bag.
