Derek was our car guy. He met us for our appointment outside in the dark and snow to look at the car. When we mentioned a few little things we noticed he assured us he would have them fixed. Our mechanic was located in Kalkaska and he got someone to drive the car all the way to Kalkaska for us just so we could have our mechanic take a peek, before the sale. Weeks after the sale he still checks up on us, always promptly answers calls, scheduled the appointment to have our car fixed, and even went out in the snow and put my license plate on for me when it came in. RUN AWAY!! 3 Crap cars in 2yrs. They will screw you over every way from sunday. We financed an SUV thru them and this was my first time ever working with a finance company which they took advantage of...big time. What we ended up buying was a 2006 trailblazer for $190 bi-weekly ...turns out it was at 24% interest rate and the base price on the 2006 trailblazer with 120k miles was going to end up costing me after 3years of payment $15,000 plus a final payoff amount of another $1,600. So i traded in my old car and left with my new car thinking i had gotten a good deal, about 5 days later i found out it was a crap deal. I called the lady who sold me the car and told her i wanted to bring the blazer back and get my car back and the lady told me oh thats not possible your car was already sold to be crushed and isnt here anymore. On top of that the car was complete trash the suspension is completely shot which became very clear about 4 weeks later when the grease/lube they had smeared all over the squeaky parts wore off. One of the aluminum alloy tire rims was welded because it cracked which we only found out because we went to have a new tire put on because it wouldnt hold air. The backhatch glass and door itself randomly and completely stopped working 4 months after getting it. After owning the car for 10 month the entire rear axle locked up and smoked out the differencial....had to pay to replace the entire back axle. We have owned the car for less then 2yrs and this is a list of all parts that had to be replaced. Rear Axle Battery Alternator Fly Wheel Water Pump Tie Rod Ends Tire Rim Tires Upper ball Joints both sides Calipers both sides Break Line Rotors all of them Ambient Temperature Sensor Wiring Harness for the head lights Partial Re-wiring Camshaft Position Sensor To top it off we have gone thru 4 wheel bearings on the front wheels which we found out is because the frame is bend from a front end collision auto accident that was not mentioned on the "carfax." Also things that dont work Back Hatch A/C Back Glass Rear driver side exterior door handle Rear wiper arm Suspension They also screwed the door panel to the door frame on the drivers side because the clips were broken....we had no idea until one day we went to close the drivers door from the inside and the inside door panel broke off. They also screwed the plastic cover piece that holds the switches for moving the seat into the seat frame because it was broken. So basically the car looks like junk, sounds like junk, drives like junk, and costs me the same as a payment on a 2014 Chevy Silverado would. Icing on the cake....i DONT have bad credit i'm in the low to mid 700's. My brother also got a car from them 2 weeks before me. It was junk and fell apart. They had their "mechanic" "fix" it twice and then said "sorry not our problem we fixed it"...they went back and forth and ended up letting him roll the cost of that vehicle into a new loan..took back that junk car which was no longer running at all...They got a 2007 Scion i think it was, looked nice. 3 weeks after they got it 3 of the 4 cat converters were toast and it cost over $1,000 to fix, then a month later 2 cat converters went out again. read more

If they call you about a Craigslist post don't waste your time with them. They offered me $14,000 for and 09 f250 which is a good offer so I thought about it for 2 days then they tried telling me all sorts of stuff was wrong with my front end and that it need new breaks which have all been replaced with in the last year then they told me it MSRP price was $10,000 which its $12,000-16,000. So long story short they don't stand behind there employees words it's a worthless company that trys to screw everyone over don't waste your time going there or talking to them if they call you. read more

Will never buy from again. We purchased a 2009 Suburban in January 2019. We didn't get to buy the vehicle we wanted, we had to basically take the car they said we could have. We purchased their extended warranty package. In March the trans quit shifting. We took the car to be fixed and the mechanic found that it needed an electrical part inside the transmission. The warranty company refused to pay for part & labor, ICC wouldn't help either. We had the vehicle back about a week and it started acting up again..back to the shop it went and found out part of the electrical system for the suspension was bad and parts were missing. Had that fixed and drive a week and the windshield wipers quit working, door locked clicked open and closed, interior lights came off and on, back door chimed open constantly. The mechanic said it would need a whole new electrical system. Called ICC/Magnum finance and basically got a too bad, sorry for your luck. Buyer beware!! read more

Instant Car Criedit advertises that no one is refused criedit which is true, and they have customers who say how great they are, what they don't tell you is that they sell over priced autos that rareley last until the loan is paid off or that once they have you it is hard to get out. My experence with them is this the first car I got from them died with $600 still owed they say we will "help you out" so we get a van shortly later my son is out of work so I tell them please take the van back and let me know how much of the $10,300 you didn't get and I will pay it however they still want to "help" and we figure a payment that I can afford I wasn't told that the payment wasn't covering the $178 monthly intrest so the price keeps going up. In the end I pay $30,000 and they still want a little over $6,000 this amount is for a $10,300 loan on a 2000 caravan. The transmission goes out so they are Helping again , a 1998 ventura for $7,000. the wipers are already going out again the electric motor for the window fell out so the window is taped in the lock on the hatch hd to be completely diconnected and the wiring is bad ,I still owe a little over $6,000 and will be lucky if it keeps running until I can junk it. Thier responce it is not thier problem that I am putting my family in a van that is not onlt ont safe but should not even have been sold. My advise is if you need a car DO NOT go to instant car criedit check out the other auto sales companies that offer garenteed criedit read more

We purchased a car through Northpointe in February or March of 2015, and had no issues at first. but then about 5 months later our Toyota Camry Hybrid battery started having issues and it showed while driving the car. the battery effects a lot of the cars operations. so we took it in and were told it needed a whole new battery, oh and this was AFTER we took it in to have some RECALL issues fixed. turns out they couldn't fix one of the recall issues BECAUSE the defunct battery wouldn't LET them. so we tried getting Toyota to cover the battery, turns out it was JUST PAST the warranty date. then we told Northpointe about the issue and how upsetting it is that this car is already having issues like this, and they met with us to try to see what we could work out. so it took a while for it to finally get into one of their approved shops, but it finally did happen, and turns out they put in a rebuilt battery, and then they told us "hey, your car is fixed" we took it back, and turns out it was having all the same issues. my husband was very upset that they didn't test it out before they told us it was fixed, and he said just that. Northpointe was very apologetic, as they were told by the mechanic that it was fixed, so they didn't know. but they took the car back right away and took care of it again. and the next time we got our car back, it WAS fixed. this was a few months ago, and the car is still running great. Northpointe knows how to treat their customers and keep them coming back! They aren't your average car dealer for people with poor credit. They seem to actually care about the happiness of their customers. great job guys! especially TIM! read more
