Couldn't have been a worse experience dealing with them. They shipped me damaged boxes and obviously used parts; they blamed UPS and blamed Teraflex, but took no accountability. It's quite alarming that the owner is such a combative person, too. I had two shipments with 3 different parts; two arrived clearly used and with damaged boxes. I tried to call; their customer service agent was "too busy on another line" was what I was literally told, and was told I'd get a call back. I never did. Their customer service took 3 days to respond to emails, so I did a chargeback. They falsely advertised new goods for sale and sold me very obviously used goods for a premium. I'm under no obligation to appease them or work with them. They did a "return to sender" on my package that was set to arrive the day they did the chargeback. Have used Nothridge on past Jeep builds. Never again. Return process is seriously flawed. Well maybe not for them it's a money maker. If you return something better take photos of the parts before you return it and be prepared for them to try and say it was used. Then be prepared to challenge the decision and they will probably agree with you if you have not used it but what a waste of time and energy. Then after your frustrated emailing back and forth they hit you for a return fee and you pay for the shipping both ways. Depending on the price of the parts you could be into the cost by 50% or more in restock fees and shipping. Just way too complicated and takes way too much effort to do business with them. read more

Tried several times, but I'm done dealing with them. They have a price guarantee that they will beat any price by 10%. I have on tried 3 separate times to take advantage of this policy only to be told that they will only match it, but can't beat it. I feel they shouldn't be advertising a policy that they have no intention of honoring. On the last instance I asked the CS rep why I should buy from them instead of the other company if they won't beat their price and he got snippy with me. Purchased a Baxter Oil Adapter for a Wrangler. I decided I did not want to install the item but had assembled the Schrader valve on the side of the adapter and lubed the threads of the adapter as directed in the instructions. A very knowledgable friend arrived and we discussed why NOT to install this item on a Jeep. I attempted to request an RMA and I was advised that they would not accept a return and to sell the item locally. I had been warned by several folks here in my area NOT to do business with this company. I should have listened. I think it's unreasonable to declare this item as "used" and not returnable because a part was assembled. I agree with another poster..."scammers, Northridge has a return scam". I would call that as spot on. What companies dont realize, (and maybe dont even care about) is that word of mouth goes a long way. Americans have a choice in where they spend their money and when they get screwed, they have a tendency to run their mouths....everywhere they can. So Northridge? You earned this one. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, I will give them negative star if I could. On March 19th bought a set of 2.5" rock krawler springs for my jeep wrangler, after install, it gave me a 4.5" of lift which is the double of what it was advertised, after connecting them, they refused to take the item back because it was already installed, I opened a case with PayPal, it took nearly 2 months for the case to resolve and they decided to accept the return for full refund once they receive the item back if I ship it on my dime. So I shipped it back, costed me a $177 to ship, they received the item on April 25th, and today it's May 6th and I'm still waiting on my refund I will never ever buy anything from these clowns nor from Rock krawler. Upgraded to a new 2020 Jeep Gladiator and had the shop do my lift & wheel/tire install. This is my 2nd lift with this team and like before it was a great experience. The team did the lift, tires and rims and steering stabilizer for me in a half day install. Install prices are fair and these guys know Jeeps. I also purchased a programmer that they calibrated for me, and finished the job with a full alignment. Bringing it back for some new 4.88 gears to be installed. Install schedules can be a few months out, so if you want them to install your stuff make sure to plan ahead. read more

They sold me a Full Length JL roof rack that was, according to their website, a "confirmed fit" for my 2022 JL with a factory option one touch power top. Neither the manufacturer or Northridge 4x4 mentioned anything excluding this factory option top. When I attempt to return, they want to charge me over $350 for return shipping for THEIR ERROR. I ordered a Dynatrac EnduroSport lift kit for my 2019 Wrangler in August. Due to covid19, a lot of other parts I ordered took some time to ship. I finally had Arabia's Overkill in Campbell, CA install the full kit with 37's. After it was installed, the front sat 1" higher than the rear. After further investigation, we realized we were sent the EnduroSport kit for the diesel, by checking the part numbers on the coils. I thought, no biggie, Northridge will make it right. We just need to remove the coil spacers and we'll be on our way. I asked Northridge to pay the shop out of goodwill, since they sent me the wrong kit. Eric, their "manager" stated they would not because it was my responsibility to verify all part numbers before installation. I am an ordinary customer buying their products and sending it to a reputable shop for installation - am I really on the cook to verify minuscule differences between kits? Tl;dr Northridge sent me the wrong kit, we installed it, they won't make it right over $100-$200. Taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

I had an issue with a light that went out after two years. I had difficulty communicating with the return/warranty guy on the phone, so I thought I would just walk in and talk to the guys there. I first contacted AJ at the Utah location via email on October 6th to do a complete build (Suspension, Wheels/tires/Bumpers/Drivetrain etc) on a 2021 Rubicon. I put down the complete parts list I was looking for. I found out they were out of town for a week so I waited to hear back. AJ responded to my email on October 13th saying that he would get my list going and get back to me. It's now October 28th, that's the last contact I ever received from AJ/Northridge. I quickly realized that the hubs I had we're not going to work so I was in search for slugs. I was having trouble finding some, so I called up Northridge and even though they didn't sell them directly, they hunted some down for me and shipped them. Again, I didn't pay for expedited shipping and BAM! the next day there they were. I was impressed because, like some of us I didn't plan accordingly and only had a week to get things ready before Easter Jeep Safari. This was two years ago and I have yet to be disappointed. We bought over 11k in products from this company and had issues with them not sending the correct products, no hardware, bolts, brackets etc. They admitted their warehouse is inadequate and made a mistake but refuse to send the missing parts needed. Northridge's Returns Policy leaves little left to refund. They are charging a 30% restocking fee, shipping to return a part to Washington state despite it originating on the opposite coast, and they are retroactively charging original shipping charges for shipping that was free with the purchase. The only thing they should be charging the customer is the price to return the part. They should never be going back to charge for shipping that was originally free with the purchase. And, a 30% restocking fee is outrageous. We got the part number directly from a manufacturer, this was being done at a dealership, and while the part is SUPPOSED to fit our vehicle and the axle size, it didn't fit our BRAND axle. The Northridge Customer Service person knew this, after-the-fact, but it wasn't listed in any way in the description. So when we tried to return the bracket, we learned about this oppressive returns policy, meant to discourage returns. There isn't much left to refund by the time they get through charging their 30% (!!!) restocking fee, shipping it across the country, and retroactively charging us for the previously free shipping that was part of the original sale. Unlike some of the other reviewers here, ie.) ones looking for an "estaminet" and people that bring Land Cruisers to a Jeep shop and can't comprehend that it takes time to line up said desired parts with an appropriate dealer that can supply said parts at a rate you can then profit from, I've had nothing but wonderful experiences with Northridge 4x4. If you drive a Jeep (after all, Northridge is a Jeep shop, that will flat out tell you they specialize in Jeeps) then this is very simply the place to go. Set aside 4wp and quadratec, Northridge has what you need and their service very simply makes you understand why they lasted through the recession. Recently I purchased some new diff covers for my TJ through them on a Friday at 11pm. They offer free shipping on anything 100$ or more, and the diff covers were waiting for me when I got home on Tuesday. They make it a point to pack things with care, and even gave me a call to verify everything arrived as described. In short, if you want a no hassle, no BS place to get your Jeep parts from, Northridge has what you need. That's not to say I don't still go to 4wp to pick up spicer seals and u-joints. I mean, they're around the corner.... but if you require any specialty modifications and choose not to get a bunch of made in china crap, Northridge is your one stop shop. read more

Northridge claims to have the best customer service although in my experience this was the opposite. When I ordered the product I was told that it would be 2-3 weeks. After 3 weeks I contacted them again and was told it would be another 2-3 weeks. So I waited another 2 weeks and contacted them and was told it would be another 4-6 weeks. This company routinely lies about the time it will take to receive the product. I was told BDS does not drop ship but when I called BDS they told me they do drop ship. My order was also cancelled without asking and when confronted about this I was accused of asking for the order to be cancelled. Avoid ordering if you want anything soon. read more

Bought new JK rear shafts. One broke. Dave told me no warranty. I called Superior. They said yes to warranty please call Dave. I did call Dave. He basically told me he wasn't going to do it. Call Superior back and they tried and then called me back and sent me to summit racing to do the warranty claim. Summit was awesome. Dave left me hanging and my Jeep broken for weeks. I bought because of the jk-forum. Everyone spoke highly. Support a small business. But Dave the owner sucks and doesn't care about people who can't walk up to his store. Well Dave. First they are super friendly and typically respond to your inquiries very quick, usually same day, second they'll price match any advertised price, 3rd free shipping on all orders(I think over $70.00) and fourth almost everything on their website is in stock and usually ships out same day which for me being in CA means I normally get my items within 2 (3 max) business days, via FedEx. I've ordered large bulky items like bumpers, winches, rock sliders and smaller items like LED lights, but they are always courteous, helpful and will apply discounts where they can. Yesterday, Northridge in Silverdale installed a ReadyLift suspension lift for my Subaru Crosstrek. This review has absolutely nothing to do with the techs who installed it, they did a bang up job and I have zero complaints with that. The rating however is for the overall customer experience, if I could leave a zero star review than I would. 8am appointment, was there early. Informed them that I would be waiting. In the 8+ hours that I was in the store not a single person checked to see how I was doing or if I needed anything. Not a single status update was provided to me unless I asked for it. I work in the motorcycle industry, I understand what customer service is supposed to be like. If this is how "in-house waiting" customers are treated than I don't recommend them to anyone. read more

Started having trouble with my sway bar links and found out that Rock Krawler had made an updated version. Northridge sent me a set at a discounted price with free shipping. While installing the links, I broke one of the zerk fittings. Could not find the special sized fitting anywhere online.
