Child abuse! Be careful my child was physically abused here and they refused to let me see the video. I have filed a report with the police department as well as state licensing. The owners are very rude they just sit in their office and do not acknowledge the parents, and we are the reason their business is running. The director Christina is racist, rude and very disrespectful. Plenty of teachers have complained to parents about her. They actually quite because of how bad they been treated. They charge extra for lunch and only serve macaroni cheese and chicken nuggets. You have to provide diapers and wipes which is not a problem but when your personal supplies get used on other children and not replaced is where the issues occur. They will not let you review the cameras and when they do certain captures are deleted! read more

The instructors are friendly and seem to be patient, however there are no cameras for parents to observe through out the day.

I love this daycare! My little started in the infant room and Ms. Kim loved her like a daughter, as she has moved up everyone is so kind and loving! I especially love the no screen time policy and instead singing & reading & dancing! Also, the price is lower than our prior daycare and she's getting such good interactions and guidance it's definitely worth more than it costs! read more

We really are thankful for Northshore. My son has been going there since he was just about 1 and now is over 3. We started him with once a week for over a year where they worked with us with a drop in schedule until now he is full time there. They have always been so accommodating! My son has been attending this daycare since Feb 2023 and we love it. All the teachers and front desk ladies are friendly. The daycare is clean inside and out. I know my son is learning because his vocabulary has expanded, he knows the basic colors, he can count 1-10 and knows his ABCs. He's only two! Highly recommend this daycare! read more

My eldest daughter attended this school for a few years (from age 4 to almost 6) and we have been very happy. The teachers have been great, front desk Staff have all been courteous to me. we enjoyed the Pre-K. Hot lunch and Photos are reasonably priced. Currently, my baby is attending (Under 1 year). As a kitchen worker, I do appreciate that they label all food with the child's name and date. I also like to receive the daily slips so I know if she napped, pooped, etc. I believe the ratio is 5 babies max to a worker. I see new staff often, but for the baby room it's the same people for the most part. Maybe one new person every once in a while. I appreciate this for my baby because she takes a while to warm up to someone new. With my infant and toddler both having attended this school, I have been very happy with my experience. My eldest was sad to leave Northshore and go to kindergarten. There is only one thing I have desired that Northshore hasn't been able to provide: weekend operation. I believe they tried offering it before but there was not enough demand. I am a chef and a nurse assistant , either job requires working weekends. it has been a struggle requesting AM shift as well as weekends off. Just FYI if you are an essential worker or work in the hospitality industry. I have turned down many employment opportunities due to this, but ive tried other daycares and they just arent the same compared to Northshore! :) read more

I have had 4 children in their care, over the last 13 months. We had trouble with how they handled my twins who have ADHD, so I moved them to a preschool that was better equipped to deal with their challenging behaviors. Even though I'd moved two of my kids to another school, I left my 2 and a half year old with Northshore. She is developmentally delayed and I did not want to disrupt her routine because she struggles with change. I received a call from the director around 4 PM, on a holiday, the last day of a long weekend. She was calling to tell me that they have unenrolled my child, effective immediately. She said that over the weekend, several staff members quit and they have to reduce their students by half until they can hire more people. She said that the decision on who to unenroll is based on their enrollment dates. I do not believe this is true. I was told by a former staff member that employees started quitting as early as Friday. I just can't wrap my mind around why they put families in such a hard spot when they could have given more notice. They called Monday evening... the day before my child was to return from a long reason. I'm truly disgusted and disappointed at how they've handled this and how their decisions harm the families who have supported them. I would never recommend them to another family. read more

I do NOT recommend this daycare for anyone! "Ms Christina" came across as a involved, cari g director and turned out to be the exact opposite. My son was enrolled for less than 3 months and removed him. After the "director" decided she could evaluate my son on her own and tell me "he has ADHD and anger issues" , I started receiving strange complaints about his behavior (one where she called to and asked me to pick him up because my 3 year old spit on a kid so bad - he was drenched (verbatim). He started off almost potty trained but they refused to work with him regularly because they did not have a bathroom in his room. So what we were doing at home didn't make a difference because they refused his underwear and made him wear a pull up My son has been thriving in his new preschool- not problems/issues and potty trained! Both my kids go here and absolutely love it. The teachers are very caring, compassionate, and always keep us informed of anything going on. My 4 year old is learning a lot and is excited to go to school to learn more. My son has been going here since May of 2019. When he started he was very shy, very closed off and very nervous of other people. Since attending North Shore, he has become more outgoing, is caught up to where he needs to be academically, and is overall just a happier kid. He went into the pre-K program and was set up for success to enter kindergarten. He now goes to North Shore for the before, and after school program, and it really is his happy place after a long day of kindergarten. He enjoys being there and has always been welcomed with open arms. There is no other preschool or childcare center I will ever recommend to anyone other than Northshore! I'm very pleased with the progress the little guy is showing since attending here, and have an abundance of nice things to say about Northshore Learning Tree. The class he's in has very understanding and compassionate adults. The focus is on providing an environment in which the kids can learn to socialize and ease them into learning. And there is a no tolerance policy for violent children. This is in marked contrast to our experience with the Elementary school, Kahre Elementary, right across the street. The school also starts later in the morning. The Clark County School District, in its never-ending rear guard actions, not only over-emphasize testing, but start way too early in the morning. But don't take my word for it, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the US Air Force Academy, and many other studies have shown starting too early as being counter-productive to a child's learning. The unfortunate truth is our public school system in this County seems to be in a race to the bottom in its policies. I have no hesitation on recommending this place to anyone who has a toddler who wants to ease into school. This place is especially good at transitioning children who may be having some difficulty with separation anxiety, or who have had a bad experience with the regular school system. read more

My son is turning three soon and he's been here for almost a year now. He is speech delayed so I worried a lot in the beginning, specially because we tried another daycare before and I could see he felt sad and neglected, but at this school he always seems to be having a great time! His teachers are very loving and truly caring. Like, I know they would comfort him if he's not feeling in a good mood! Other places just let the kids cry all day or get annoyed at them (I've seen it!) but not here! Their program really is based on learning while having fun! read more

This is probably the worst daycare you can take any child to. They discriminate against children with Disabilities, they are understaffed because of high turn over due to poor treatment of the staff, your kids are definitely not safe there. The current director is all smile in your face but is horrible and emotionally abusive to the kids there (I have witnessed her talking to children as I was dropping off mine). Keep looking for another daycare please because this one isn't it. No one should even want to work there. I filled several complaints with agencies and I am preparing a lawsuit against them for discrimination based on disability and for retaliation. I will guarantee that they will think hard before treating poorly a child bc not neurotypical in the future. read more

Incredibly happy that I found this daycare! Unexpectedly went back to work FT and needed to find somewhere where I truly felt comfortable leaving my little guy (10mths). In my previous position I was a center director of a daycare and after school center- so I have high expectations! Checked out a few in the area and could not wait to leave. NLT was so clean, and such a positive environment. My son is in the 9-18mth class. He is in a class with 6 other children. The classroom is beautiful and filled with artwork. They have art-time, play outside, and have story time. Each child has their own crib. Teachers are loving. I walk down the hallway and pass the older classrooms- Those classrooms are also incred clean and filled with happy engaged children. Finding NLT made my transition back to work way less stressful and guilt-ridden! read more

I spoke with someone over the phone yesterday about availability and was told they had an opening for my sons age group so I scheduled an appt for a tour of the facility for today. I show up and the woman at the front desk said there was no record of my appt for the tour and asked if I was in the wrong place and also was informed they have no openings for my sons age until June. They gave me a tour anyways and I can't believe how dirty and run down it is...Not impressed! I wouldn't send my son there if they did have an opening. read more

This is a review for the intro process. I'm pregnant, and I'm trying to find the best option for a newborn in my area (first time mom here). When I called to ask for rates, the woman stated they did not give rates over the phone and I would need to come in for a tour. I explained that due to covid, I would rather not and thanked her for her time. She laughed at me and told me to have a good day. I'm pregnant, we are in a world wide pandemic. I don't feel comfortable taking a tour of your facility while pregnant just so you can give me pricing. read more

I believe they are under new ownership and there have been a lot of changes. My son struggled with behavior problems and potty training issues while there at first. He then enjoyed going to the older kids room where I feel the staff was better trained to handle behavioral problems if they occur. Staff seems great now, they are always friendly and greeting us. They frequently have events or themed weeks for interaction and participation which I believe is creating a positive culture. read more
