We started our daughter in Creative Kids Early Preschool program almost 2 months ago. We were so nervous about transitioning her into school after being home with family the first 2.5 years and not having very much socialization. We toured so many schools in the area and this was the only one that felt right. The care the teachers put in and the director is absolutely phenomenal. We loved her main teacher but she did transition out of the service. Her new main teachers are Dana and Karissa and I adore both of them! They care about our daughter like she was their own and that's truly all I can ask for. They provide timely updates and she is truly learning so much! We are so grateful for Creative Kids. read more

I enrolled my son (20 months) at Creative Kids in November and I truly believe this is the best choice in our area. All of his teachers seem to truly care about each child in the room and they put the effort in to teach these littles about every age appropriate topic. My son surprises me with something new everyday, like counting or naming shapes and colors. The communication from the staff is better than I could have ever expected, and their SproutAbout app is a game changer. I get an update for every diaper change, meal, and nap. Plus, the live stream camera in the room parents are able to access eases every anxiety. I feel like I'm still fully involved with his day even from my office. I was extremely apprehensive sending my son to daycare for the first time but I have absolutely no worries dropping him off at Creative Kids. A special appreciation goes to his AM teacher, Ms. Kat. I have tried 2 schools before for my lil lady and I just couldn't deal with the uncleanliness, unorganized, etc. I found this place last year and have been soooo happy with my daughter progress in learning skills. Mrs. Julie is hands down amazing, Mrs. Winnie at the front desk is soooo welcoming as well as Mrs. Na those faces make my day when I'm having a bad one. Mrs. Cap, Mrs. Luz , and Mrs. Keiarra y'all did yall thing when yall hired that combination together. ATTENTION PARENTS & LEARNING CARE GROUP INCORPORATED. It saddens me to have to write this review. Our family last year purchased a home in the neighborhood right next to the Creative Kids Aliante location. The convenience of having the day care that close to our home was one of the selling points. We enrolled our 4 year old son full time and our 5 year old daughter. Our daughter would be transported to her elementary school by creative kids bus and picked up after school. It was an ideal situation or so we thought. Within the first couple weeks my son (who is not a big eater) started telling me he was hungry all day. I first tried to pack him food and was told I was not allowed to bring outside food, company policy. I started monitoring meals on the app. I would see for breakfast they would give these children a hard boil egg, some days it was crackers and cheese. My son ended up having to go to the doctor for strep throat and the doctor was concerned with his weight. The doctor gave me a note to give to the daycare saying he could bring food from home. I dropped him off the next day with the note and a lunch box that contained a banana, a slice of bread and crackers. I assumed the problem would be solved, it was not. My husband came to pick him up that afternoon and my son was refused his food. I called and spoke to Julie and was very upset. This is my son. I'm not asking for anything crazy , I pay full price, brought a doctors note, food from home and just want my kid to be fed enough while in your care. She got a temporary approval and explained to me that they would soon be part of a food program. I was shocked. They were not part of a food program and still denying me bringing my son food? I then was told they feed our children "family style". They put one bowl in the middle of the table for the small children with a spoon that is the perfect portion size for each child. These little kids are then responsible for portioning their own food out and leaving enough for the next person. Julie check on my son during lunch the next day and said he was absolutely not taking enough. I was not shocked, he is 4! He has never portioned his own food out. The teachers are not trained to manage help or encourage these kids. The same week my 5 year old daughter that is in kindergarten, who is at creative kids after school, had a food issue. They served yogurt for afternoon snack "family style " she took the last scoop and some older girls in the class cornered her and made her cry for taking all the yogurt. I have no idea why such a lucrative business such as your does not have the money or time to care about these kids getting fed properly and doing it in a way that they are not fighting over food. For some kids school is there safe place and possibly the only place they get a suitable meal. We made the decision and pulled our kids. There was not much learning going on for my son in his pre K class and the poor kid was starving to death! I really wish this wasn't our experience but it was. I hope you fix it. These kids can not stand up for themselves. Feed those kids! I know a food program started in January but what have you been doing this whole time? The family style serving does not work. Please if your kids are going here start watching what's going on and if you're thinking of going here I hope major changes have taken place, for the kids sake. read more

If I could give anyone some advice I'd tell them to keep there little ones far away from this place. My child was enrolled there for not even 2 weeks and the experience was horrible. They tell you that they do all this learning and activities but they do nothing, they charge you for potty training but dnt have any bathroom breaks what so ever they have a teacher there that changes diapers all day long, the smaller kids are pretty much there watching there selves. They give you the impression that it's a learning and family environment but it's far from that. read more

We really enjoyed our experience with Creative Kids! My daughter went here starting when she was 2 years old and up until about 3.5, when we moved to another state for work. She loved all of her teachers and they were always so friendly and excited to see her. We were amazed that she would come home and start reciting the ABCs, singing new songs we never taught her, and telling us fun stories about her friends at school. It was clear that this daycare was crucial for her development, both socially and educationally. They would play outside on the fun playgrounds or in their indoor sand castle area daily. They also had regular events, like a Halloween trick or treat night and Valentine's themed family day - this was often our only social experience since we don't have family in the area, and it was a great way to meet other families! One of the best parts of this daycare center was the app they used - there was constant camera access so I could always look in and see how she was doing while I was at work. They took pictures and videos often and would send them to me through the app, and they also took note of what she ate, how much she ate, and when she used the potty. Her first poo on the potty was actually while she was here! Haha so I owe them big for that. I am a typical overly-anxious mom and I can truly say that I felt my child was safe and well cared for at this center. The Director, Julie, was always open to feedback and easy to reach. I will miss Creative Kids and wish we lived in Vegas longer to start sending my baby there, too. Ugh, writing this review makes me really miss them. read more

Stay far, far away from this place. Aside from the fact they simply warehouse children until you pick them up, I'll tell you why. Not only did they alienate my family and make us feel unwelcome, my son was injured due to their negligence and now has a scar to show for it. I spent an entire afternoon downtown at the hospital pressing tissues to my son's brow trying to stem the bleeding from a gash he received while in their care. I never received an apology, only a meeting with the director where I was basically told "these things happen." I was also lied to about the circumstances under which he was hurt and the staff ignored my son's injury and tried to say it was his own fault. At first they told me they called but my voicemail was full (a lie as I delete my voicemails after I hear them), then they told me there wasn't time to call as I arrived to pick him up soon after it happened. Which is it? They never took an interest in my son or could be bothered to tell him goodbye at the end of the day. After lunch every day the room was a pigsty, food all over the floor and no one's belongings in their proper cubby. I often had to dig our belongings out of the garbage can. I frequently picked him up with a soiled diaper, for which there is no excuse. Don't send your children here. Just don't. My son who is outgoing and eager to meet even strangers hid behind me every time he had to go into his class with Ms. Shelby. I can only imagine what else happened in this shoddy excuse for a "daycare." read more

My son has been attending Creative Kids since February and I am very happy that he is here. We are always greeted with a good morning and a goodbye. The staff has been amazing and I can gladly say that my son really enjoys coming here and has learned a lot. They have a great balance of learning, arts and crafts, and play time!! We signed him up for the summer camp and he had such an amazing time. He would come home telling us the things he had learned and the guest speakers that had stopped by the classrooms to talk to the kids. He brings home worksheets, coloring pages and arts and crafts that he does in his classroom. He is excited to see his friends and teachers every time he attends! The flexibility of days and hours is a huge bonus and the distance from our house is only 10 min which is really great. His teacher Miss Na and Miss Andrea are phenomenal and have been wonderful with our son. Miss Julie and Miss Liz have been professional and courteous whenever I have had a concern or question. Overall the staff and atmosphere is beyond amazing. I am aware that they rotate classes and combine them at times and every teacher there has been wonderful. Miss Stacie, Miss Gaby, Miss Fa, Miss Maria are just a few of the wonderful teachers my son talks about when he comes home. If I could give it 10 stars I definitely would. Prices are horrendous. They have surcharges for everything. There is a convenience fee for every type of payment other than automatic drafting from your account. They do not take cash. They take money orders and still charge a fee for using those. They charge a fee if you store extra diapers at the facility. Lunch is not provided. In 18 years of accessing child care in California and Las Vegas, I have never experienced such robbery and the tuition is already on the high side. The summer program activities were very basic and I was then charged a field trip fee of $3.00. None of these fees were disclosed at enrollment. read more

Man. I feel heavy as I wanted to like this center. Upon first walking in it does look like somewhere that's very fun for a child to play. The smell is a bit off today but it is a daycare center so you kind of expect some level of uncleanliness I guess. The first person that we ran into did seem nice but the second lady who came to the front didn't greet us or acknowledge us at all. She just came up and started working. Where I come from I am used to seeing daycare and childcare center employees normally upbeat and welcoming. During the brief tour we went through the two classrooms my baby would possibly be in. Then we went outside. That's where things quickly changed. They have multiple playgrounds and that's cool. The little babies saddened me. The toddlers all had runny noses and boogies all over their faces. Like the whole class. One of the little ones got left in the other playground. Two of the workers actually got into a big argument, in front of everyone. It was totally unprofessional, and definitely created a lot of tension. For me and my family it was a no. It was really not a good experience, and I had high hopes.I know good employees are hard to come buy, but it seems better to my thought process not to fill the classrooms if the aids are inconsistent or they're understaffed. I was extremely apprehensive about taking my toddler to daycare. Coming out of a pandemic, and returning to the workforce after being home with my son for a year and a half, had me concerned about leaving him with anyone. After a month of him going to Creative Kids of North Las Vegas I have nothing but good things to say. Ms. Kat, Ms. Sam, Ms. Rebecca, and the rest of the staff have been wonderful with my son. He is happy to go to "school" and see his teachers and his friends. He has even been more adventurous with the foods he'll try thanks to the variety of foods they are introducing in their weekly menus. It's very disheartening to think that there are parents who feel that they are being abused or that the children are being abused because they are asked to follow infection control guidelines during a pandemic. I can only speak for myself and my experience with this facility. I feel that my 5yr old and 16 month old are as safe as they can be, given the circumstances. My husband and I are essential workers and we are thankful for the peace of mind we have knowing that are children are taken care of by people who actually care. Pre-COVID we've had nothing but great experiences with this school. Now, in this time of uncertainty, they are a solid "normal" for us and the kids. Please don't let one review from someone who clearly has issues with understanding the severity of what we are living through right now, deter you from giving Creative Kids a chance. Before bringing your children to Creative Kids on Deer Springs, PLEASE read below. I would like to know how effective a teacher can be when the classroom is over filled with children. From where I stand during drop off, I witness children getting hurt including hitting, being choked out, and spit on. I myself had asked the teacher if I could lend her a hand because she looked very overwhelmed while she was trying to assist my upset granddaughter. After I walked out of the classroom I saw a heavy set lady and two other ladies in the office totally oblivious to the LOUD CHAOS that was going on in these classrooms. This is not what I envisioned my granddaughters preschool to look and act like. I am VERY disappointed and advising my son and daughter in law to change preschools. I will be doing my research on this corporation and finding out who I can report this to. read more

We watched their language and motor skill flourish under the love and nurturing of their teachers. This school is amazing! My son is 3 and absolutely loves it,he loves his teacher and the entire staff is amazing. Everyone knows him by name. The location is right around the corner from our home,it is clean and everyone is genuinely sweet and helpful. My son was able to go to California to visit grandparents over summer and kept saying he missed his teacher and school and was so excited to return after summer. He just started taking Spanish class which is exciting ,overall I would recommend this school to everyone. You have peace of mind knowing your little one is in great hands, having a blast and learning. Well worth the rate and not to mention he previously went to Childrens learning adventure which was twice the cost and only one specific teacher went out of her way to bond with him. My son goes here and we love it. He's the type of kid who should wear a helmet just for walking bc he hurts himself all the time, they always call and let me know any time he has fallen or anything. All the staff are very sweet to him and have helped tremendously with potty training. I also appreciate the fact that you can put your account on auto pay. I started with this location about 3 weeks ago and the reason we put our 3 year old in this program was because of his speech delay and also him not being around kids his age. I've stressed so much in the last year on getting my little boy help and I said let's try creative kids a couple of days a week and see how it goes. My son has already showed results. When we visited Creative Kids for the first time we met with the director Julie. Julie was very welcoming and took the time to answer all of my questions. We have never had our child in a daycare facility so I had a lot of questions and concerns. We visited late in the day so there were not very many kids in room 1 but when we walked in we were impressed but what we saw. The space was clean and organized. The kids all seemed to be very calm and happy. Summer is the aide in that room and she was very welcoming and nice. The very first day I took him to the facility I stayed for 2 hours because I wanted to see how things are ran there. I met the teacher in room 1 and she wasn't very welcoming, quite the opposite of the ladies I met during the tour. My child was never acknowledged when we arrived or when we left. I watched from the monitors and through the classroom window when they went outside. There were about 20 kids on the playground because room 1 mixed with room 2 on the playground. Within 5 minutes of going outside my child climbed on the slide in an attempt to walk up the slide. However, there were children sliding down. I expected an adult staff member to correct the behavior and get him off of the slide so he wouldn't be hurt. Instead what I saw was the teacher from room 1 and room 2 chatting with their backs to the playground. My child turned to sit on the slide. Inevitably, a child went down the slide and kicked my child in the back. I watched my child grab his back in pain. At that point I went outside to talk to the teacher from room 1. I attempted to tell her that my child was standing on the slide and the behavior needed to be corrected to protect him from injury. Her response was very unexpected and curt. She said, "I know you're watching," and simply walked off. At that point I had only been there for 45 minutes. I went back inside of the classroom and continued to watch. Even though she knew I was watching she still continued to chat with the other teacher while the classroom aide, Summer, actually interacted with the kids. I informed Julie about what I had witnessed and she said she was sure it was corrected. I told her it hadn't been corrected and that the staff spent more time talking than they did watching the kids. She said she would keep an eye on it. The very next day I called about an hour after I dropped my child off and was told that he had been crying but she would call me if it persisted. About 30 minutes later I stopped by and before I walked through the door I could hear my child crying. As I walked through the door, Shelby the teacher was changing a child's diaper when I saw her put her hand on my child's head, push him away and state to Summer "Get him off of me!" My child was crying hysterically and I could tell that something was really wrong and that he had been crying for quite some time. I ignored what Shelby said to my child and grabbed him in my arms and sat on the ground. My child reached for this foot and I instinctively took the shoe off before taking off the other. After I removed the shoes, the crying stopped and my child was happy again. While I'm comforting my child Shelby approached me and tried to explain away her terrible reaction to my child. Her poor excuse for that reaction was, "I wasn't expecting him to be there. I was shocked when I felt his hand near my vagina." You're surrounded my little toddlers whose hands can only go so far, what did you expect? As I type this, I am still angry about the fact that instead of taking the time to comfort my child he was literally pushed away from the person who is supposed to look over and comfort him. Please note that although I have acknowledged that Shelby was changing a diaper at the time of this incident and busy, she did NOT have to push my child away from her in that manner. There is no justification for that. Back on the playground, I witnessed kids sitting on top of other kids on the ladder while the teachers talked the whole time. There was absolutely no interaction with the kids and barely any correcting of bad behavior. Summer would attempt to play with them. If she saw kids off by themselves she would try to bring them back in towards the other kids etc. There were so many children that would cry their little hearts out only to have the teachers walk by like they didn't exist. I can understand spreading their attention amongst the kids but they literally ignored them all.If parents had the luxury of seeing the things I saw they would definitely take their children out of this daycare. I would also pick my child up every day with dried snot all over his face. After witnessing all of those terrible things I put notice in to withdraw my child. In those two short weeks I knew that I couldn't trust that teacher with my pet let alone my child. I just couldn't leave my child there knowing that he was not being nurtured and monitored the way he deserves to be. read more

I guess I'll be the first to review this location! We LOVE it here. I had patiently been waiting for my daughter to turn 18 months so she could attend this school. She only goes once a week, and on occasion when her normal baby sitter can't watch her, but this place is awesome. It's very clean, and the teachers in her class are just amazing. We haven't been coming for very long, but when I dropped my daughter off this morning, she went right up to her teacher, gave her a hug, and went inside to sit at the table with the other kids. I also think this place was the final nudge to help my daughter get on a schedule, and to help her fall asleep on her own. Sadly, we will be moving to Austin at the end of October and they don't have any locations anywhere else. PLEASE, open up locations in other states! read more
