Went here twice within the last 2 weeks and both times the servers were very rude and unprofessional and our orders were wrong on both occasions. We didn't want to judge by the first visit but by the second visit it got even worse , it would have been a nice dinner if it wasn't for the rude waitress and her also getting our orders messed up. This little hole in the wall was JAMMED with cars so we pulled in to see what was up. The atmosphere in here is a lot of TV screens with various sports but the food is definitely better than expected! The fried green beans with ranch dressing are a MUST, the rueben is full of lean corned beef on marble rye, better than an Irish Hills rueben for sure, the burger was hand pattied like homemade with flavor to match! I drive past this place everyday going to and from work. Was planning to stop in and get a carry out to take to work the other day. Unfortunately once I saw how packed this place was I decided not to stop, because the day I planned to stop was in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. Seeing this place was jammed packed with people I thought it was a bad idea to go into place that appeared not to be following any safety rules. Seeing I didn't stop in I can't really be sure about safety rules, I'm judging by the people sitting outside not following any safety. Can't talk about food or staff, due to the fact it didn't look safe to. Will update this post once the coronavirus is under control. I can say I never have posted a bad review but this place is a joke. We go in there the first time tonight and have dinner. The food was ok but the sad part is when we play the pull tabs and we have two winning tickets. One large sized one was worth $1and the smaller one was worth $ 25. We give to the bartender to cash out. She hands us $2. She states it was worth $1 when in fact it was $25 and she cannot produce it back to us. But she gives us another $1winner that was not even ours. Then basically calls us a liar and the manager/owner just says let me see the scans and of course ours wasn't scanned out. So they say we are wrong. Wow. Sorry the staff couldn't take the time to walk back there and attempt to find our ticket. Very disappointing. read more

A group of us were in town visiting a friend and stopped in on our way from DTW to Toledo. We all got different sandwiches and each one was fantastic! Great draft beer selection as well. My boyfriend and I love divey- type bars. that being said this one was too loud. So loud in fact that we couldn't hold a conversation without yelling at each other. We went here on Friday night and it was busy. Waitstaff was a but overwhelmed with the crowd but nonetheless very good. I had the hot chicken sandwich and my company had fish and chips (all you can eat). Chicken was way overcooked and tuff to eat but we also had beer. THE BEER IS GOOD. What a great beer list and friendly serving staff. Will definitely come back. It may have Big Al's (Usual Friday Place) beat. I always go back to Northside. And if you are looking for something with flavor at a reasonable charge, this place has it in droves. The menu is not too large, but plenty of things to pick from, good food, good beer, a bit loud, but always good service. Easy and fun! read more

Their phone number is in my favorites! We came here when it first opened and felt like everything on the menu was fried and so did not return for a year or so. Recently, we tried it again and we've changed our minds about the place! The food is great, the service is great....but they really need to do something about the feng shui of the dining area. Food was not very good. Small portions and the cheese curds were salty and over cooked and flat. Fish was also over cooked. My baked fish looked liked was in shreds and chunks floating in juice. The coleslaw was soooooo grossss , who makes it pickled? NO ONE!!! I have ate there alot and in the past the burgers have not even been seasoned, so I will NOT be going back, I gave them more then 4 chances and they just keep getting worse...shame on ME....Oh yah they are way over priced on what they offer 12.95 for a 2 piece shit fish meal and you cant substitute...really read more

Went this afternoon. Wife ordered the $8.99 "Prime Rib" sandwich. The beef was deli style uniform cut and tasteless and served with a small bag of potato chips. I ordered the $10.99 appetizer sampler. My Wife and I both bit into a cheese stick and simultaneously spit it out. The cheese had turned sour and you could even smell the sour. I called over the waitress, informed her of the spoiled food. They did nothing, no offer of different replacement, no discounted tab, not even an apology. read more

Just went there and tried the salad ,nice portion of salad but the bowl the it was put in was not good.Came in a steel bowl that didn't have much of a flat bottom so if you didn't eat right out of the center the bowl tipped frustrating. The bowl should be rethought. read more
