Great fries & live music spot. Perfect post-boating or mid-boating spot to refuel. I *truly* enjoyed the blue frozen life preservers.

Friendly service and tables outside far apart. Great fresh Greek salad. Decent burger but fries were cold. Bug spray provided and much needed as the sun set!

    Great ambiance

Amazing food. Some of my favorites are the pizza, steak bites and fish dip. They always have great bands and the views are gorgeous.

Great on the water hidden casual gem with a bigger lunch menu than I would have thought. Try the garlic parmesan fries and perch!

Do.you have to be a marina member or is it open to the public?

It's open to the public! You'll have to stop to talk to the gate guard on the way in, but just let them know you're headed to the Sandbar and they'll wave you through.

Harbor Hook and Grille - Tuna Poke Bowl

This is not the type of restaurant that you'd expect in a coastal fishing village. My four star rating is based on the above and value. As pictured, the cuban sandwich and onion rings. I prefer battered rings, but these were breaded and seasoned. They were the best breaded rings i've ever had. The cuban sandwich was traditional with ham, pulled pork, cheese and pickles. It wasn't pressed, but that didn't affect the taste, just the appearance. The servers were very attentive and refilled my iced tea three times. Very clean eating area and restroom.

We chose Habor Hook & Grille. This restaurant sits right across the street from the harbor, hence part of the name, and the food pics looked appealing. It was almost 9pm on a Tuesday night, so there weren't many people. It was rather dark when we entered, so I inquired if it was too late to get dinner and we were told the restaurant was serving until 10pm. The restaurant and bar area was a large open area with very high ceilings. There is an outdoor area for seating and what looked like a bar area as well. I asked about daily specials and our server told us there weren't any due to the Harbor Hook & Grille just implemented a new menu with several new offerings. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Calamari appetizer (served with a thicker marinara sauce), the Harbor Cubano sandwich with fries, and the Tuna Poke Bowl. Tha Calamari was good, but could've used some additional seasoning as it was somewhat bland. The Harbor Cubano sandwich was also good - roasted pork, sliced ham, Swiss cheese, dill pickles, and mustard. There wasn't much mustard if any, so our server offered any of their sauces - a garlic aioli was selected. This sandwich was served with fries. I am not sure if it was because we arrived so late or what may have happened, but these fries were somewhat mushy and limp. They may have been sitting for a while or undercooked. The Tuna Poke Bowl, in my opinion, was the highlight of our food selections. The flavor of the tuna, cucumber, carrots, radishes, and pickled onions were topped with a spicy sauce that paired very well with this dish. All-in-all a decent dining experience. I would've gone with 3.5 stars if available in Yelp! scoring.

I was charged 11.99 for an unseasoned likely frozen and then cooked impossible burger. I asked the kitchen to add garlic, onion and salt and pepper to it before cooking (not knowing it was not thawed to properly prepare it especially in the Midwest where ignorant people still think vegan is weird) and they said they "could try" which was weird to hear. My mother whom i was dining with told them "they aren't seasoned patties". i was charged for what I asked for including the cheese which is insane when it was already so overpriced, but there was no garlic, no salt, and no pepper. A flavorless patty on the cheapest bun (that likely had dye in it, I had also asked about because I have a brain injury and it impacts me severely). even my fries had no salt and likely were frozen from a bag. Not only was this the most overpriced bland meal I have ever had in my life, they added take out fees- I had to get takeout (because I was having temperature regulation issues because they the Thermostat set at 78!? when it was 83 outside) so I had to leave before it caused a seizure, but my mothers food was just as bland. no seasoning at all and the "1/4lb burger special" was a SLIDER. a frozen one. these two things were $29?! I don't mind paying for food from a restaurant that is actually cooked. This place is no better than applebees- but I'll have to acknowledge that Applebees, even though they are straight trash- has seasoning on their food. I feel bad for the server who is likely financially impacted by how the owner lacks care for the business in any capacity. This place deserves to close, since it is just robbing the customers.

So many options on the menu are house made, even down to the bison shaped biscuits. We ordered a bison patty melt, which was very tasty and well prepared and a chicken chunk bowl that was served piping hot and was made with homemade mashed potatoes. I ordered it with a side of ranch, which was house made as well. The service was quick and accurate and the food was served as soon as it was prepared. The restaurant was clean and tables were wiped down and ready for service. I look forward to trying other dishes from this great local restaurant.
