GO TO SPOT FOR TAILGATE RENTALS! We rented their pro tailgate package that included everything we needed to enjoy the big game. Tables, chairs, TV's and a generator. When making the reservation, I noticed a couple discrepancies between the photo and the product list (large fan not included), and Jeff was quick to remedy the problem with a fair adjustment. PRO TIP: as with all rentals, ensure everything works BEFORE leaving the lot. The grill was awfully dirty and not as functional as we hoped. As anyone could imagine, we were disappointed when the feast we planned didn't exactly work out. When addressed however, Jeff -again- came to the rescue and I'm certain it won't happen again. Tom and the guys at Northside Tool Rental (Doraville Location) are fantastic. They always have just what I need for my home renovation projects. I've rented Bobcat's, Skidders, Trenchers, Sod Cutters, Tillers, Hardwood Floor nailers and coutless other items that are just too expensive to own or for jobs that I don't normally do every day. Not once have I ever had a problem with a tool not working correctly or not starting on the first turn of a key or the first (maybe second) pull of a rip cord. Best deal is to get a 10% off coupon from the website before you pickup your tools. They have had the coupon for as long as I can remember and it pays off in the end. Tom and Miguel will gladly show you how to use any tool before you leave . So if you're just a weekend handyman or handywoman and like to do your own projects they'll show you the correct use so you don't hurt yourself or damage the equipment. Major cardit cards are accepted and they do not charge your card until you return the tools. If you need an extra day to finish the job, just call them and say you need an extension, no problem. If you don't have a pickup truck or trailer to pickup your bigger tools, they'll deliver and pick them up for a nominal fee. Best deal in town too for weekend rentals, pickup after 3pm on Friday and you'll have the time to use it until Monday morning when it's due back at 8am and you'll only pay for a SINGLE day rental! read more

I have rented from them several times, and never have a problem before today. Best advice I can give is watch them like a hawk, and do as much research as you can. I had a problem with a rental pump not performing as expected, in addition to them pulling the wrong size hose for the pump, and asked for my money back. Sean gave me an invoice and said "you're all set." I guess he was hoping that I didn't notice that he still charged me. In the past I have loved doing business with these guys but no more. I reserved a piece of equipment and when I went to pick it up they didn't have it. The employees are not knowledgeable of the tools. I went over there three times and they still did not give me the right tool. I told them that was it too big and they said, "there is no way it is too big, it could be to small, but not too big." WELL, it was too big. When I returned to exchange it, the same person, told me, "You picked a tool that was too big." He made it sound like my fault. After the third visit, I contacted corporate. I was upset, but definitely not disrespectful. I am a calm person by nature. So, my voice may have been irritated, but not rude. When corporate returned my call, at first he said to go back in and he would he resolve the issue. But the employees still choose the wrong tool and did not let me choose. When I spoke to corporate again, he said that the employee stated that I yelled and was rude. They are very dishonest employees and do not have the knowledge of the tools they are working with. I would not return or recommend this business. After most of the day wasted, I could have driven 10 extra miles to the other rental store and saved a lot of time. read more

Stay as far away from this place as you possibly can. They ARE VERY DECEPTIVE in their pricing!! I called their Marietta location to rent a skid steer. Was told only the most expensive was available. I then used their online reservation form, was called and was told their cheapest was available. So why lie to me to get more money? They then did not show up in the morning like they said they would. They showed up at noon. They then ran my credit card for almost $600 for what was supposed to be a $350, one day rental. I called and they said it was a hold for their "cleaning fee" and "fuel fee". After they pick it up if they feel it's clean enough they will refund the "cleaning fee" and then charge you for the fuel used. Really?!? I paid $200 for the daily rental and then $150 to have it delivered and THAT DID NOT COVER FUEL!!!! Total and complete RIP-OFF! They NEVER said fuel was extra or that there would be a cleaning fee. A cleaning fee on a piece of construction equipment?!? RIP-OFF ARTISTS! Avoid them at all costs. read more
