We used to love Northway and chose it to celebrate a special occasion, but the experience was ruined by the night manager, Sherri. When I tried to order pies (as I had before), she publicly lectured me for not placing a "special request"--something that was never required before. Her tone was rude and unprofessional throughout. The food was good and our server was great, but we won't be returning or recommending this place again. Very disappointing. I did speak with George, the owner, he said, "Well, everyone has a bad day, I will give Sherri a pass on this one. PS. We did end up being able to purchase one of the two pies we wanted although Sherri charged us an extra $4. So check this out!! My good friend breaks the fast here at this restaurant every Saturday with a handful of his good buddies. I'm from California so I don't have the privilege to join them but I've been listing to my friend tell stories about this restaurant and the conversations that take place for literally as long as I can remember. Today not only did I get to experience this local tradition but I got to be part of it. It's so funny, a handful of amazing characters just sit around breaking balls and drinking coffee. I went to pay for breakfast and the waitress explained to me that it wasn't my turn to pay. I was told that their was a system in place and that this week was Nick's turn to pay and there was nothing I could do about it. If I would if known about this I would have ordered a $100 gift certificate. The guys were great, the food was super yummy and the service was outstanding. What's great about this place is that everyone is local, everyone knows each other and everyone is super friendly. Where I come from you don't see great service like this anymore, I hope I get the chance to visit this place again. It's been a long 2 1/2 years of eating the same takeout food over and over again. This restaurant is the best edits put an end to the 2 1/2 years of big franchise hell did anybody in the trades or on the road has been living in. From the moment I arrive the staff were super friendly and eager to help me. The eggs tasted real and delicious and wonderful and the whole thing still came in under what it would cost me for a breakfast to go at One of the big chains. read more

Been a couple of times and each time not happy . the short order cook male,does what he wants . U have to ask for butter on your bread. Club toasted western etc No one wears a hair nut in the kitchen. Girl has a hair pulled back but lose no hair net. Male cook gets pissed off with you. read more

Service was awesome. the servers there really know how to make you feel welcome. that being said.. the prices for breakfast are ridiculous!! coffee isn't even included for the price?!?!? we saw a couple eating lunch and the portion looked absolutely huge so maybe we will give lunch a try.. but as for breakfast.. for 40$ for 2 people and nothing special.. we find that quite expensive.. eggsquis is expensive but is still cheap compared to here! Also one more thing, their breakfast beans are really not the same beans you get in most restaurants that serve breakfast.. we did not like them sadly. we will have to give lunch a try as the portions and price seem very reasonable read more

This is my go to spot for breakfast when I stay in Belleville. Nothing fancy, just good portions of the traditional favourites, done right, served promptly. There are plenty of tables, but at peak hours there might be a bit of a wait as all the locals know this place and come here regularly. Maybe eggs benny or peameal and eggs doesn't turn your crank, but if it does, you can load up here before you start your day. read more

The prices are good and the portions huge. The owners are great and you can tell it's a family run business. The inside is definitely outdated, they don't put any money towards that at all. And most of their food is frozen and canned which sucks. But I still enjoy the chicken Cesar pita and fries (even though the bacon bits are not real and terribly cheap). I like the gravy too. The service is so fast! Usually the meal is there within 10 minutes, sometimes 5 (especially breakfast). But, They need to step up the quality of the food and not serve so much frozen, canned stuff. The menu is so huge and the don't need it that big. If they shrunk the menu down I think they would be able to spend more money on quality ingredients. read more
