What a place! The decor alone is wonderfully over the top! On top of that, it smells great in here when you walk in. Very inviting! We booked a table via email, and they sent an email to confirm it. We sat at a booth by the front window. Service was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious! The tzatziki was thicker than I'm used to, and tasty. One person in our party ordered chicken souvlaki and it was quite a large serving; at least half went home for lunch the next day. My salad was filing without being too much food. Found this little gem. Hubby and I went for dinner and it was a great experience. THe waitress was efficient and super nice. The Greek salad is amazing!! We ordered garlic bread to share but didn't need it as the entrees came with a plate of bread. We had chicken souvlaki which was very good and hubby had the pork /chicken souvlaki combo which he also loved. We will definately be coming back. read more

Really good food! We had the Halomi cheese and it was to amazing! It was a good size(bigger than normal) and was perfect. The Dolmadkia were homemade and really tasty. Lamb chops were good (New Zealand) but would have been better if they were from Ontario. The only reasons I didn'tgive a 5 star rating is because the octopus was cold not warm just grilled and the saganaki was good but didn't taste like real saganaki should. This is the first time I have been to this restaurant since becoming a user of this site. I have been to this restaurant several times, but this most recent time was sadly memorable in a negative way. I went as a party of four on a weekday afternoon for an early dinner. The dining room was largely empty and there were several wait staff that seemed to just be floating around, filling water glasses and doing other routine tasks. We ordered drinks and got those fairly quickly, we then ordered meals and these took a very long time to get to us (about an hour). The surprising part about that is that our table was near the kitchen and we could see that the kitchen was making dishes at a very high rate, but all of these were going to takeout orders. I get it, the restaurant isn't mine and it can be run any way owner pleases, but I would not longer even consider this a restaurant, it is a take out joint. The wait staff seemed competent and polite enough, but it seemed like a regular occurrence to have a simple meal take two hours (one round of drinks, appetizer, main courses). We had a lot of time to absorb the ambiance since we were waiting for such a long time, and it is a nice dining room. There are a few sections - a darker area, a spot near a fireplace, and the front area near some large windows. There are large murals painted on the interior, there are some nice decorations throughout, and you can see the kitchen from just about everywhere in the restaurant - it is not a bad dining room by any means. They pipe some fairly stereotypical Greek restaurant music, but it is not a bad touch and it almost is a requirement for my complete experience at an affordable Greek place. When our food did arrive, it was largely good: I had Pastitsio Forno with Greek-style salad which I will rate highly; someone had the vegetable skewer that was passable; another had Dolmades with soup which were good; and another had Kaftas with Greek-Style salad that were apparently not the best. The table shared a serving of Saganaki. Overall, the food was good, it just took a long time to arrive at the table. I also noticed the prices increased since the last time I was there, I understand that's inflation or whatnot, but for me, it seemed like it cost more for an inferior experience. Overall, my entire party was unhappy with the meal - we all agreed that it took way too long to get our food and for those that were less than pleased with their meals, there was almost no redemption. I am not certain that I will give the Greek Islands another try, which for me, is a very sad thing since I have had numerous good experiences there. I am certain; however, that if I do try it again it will be for a take-out order and not to dine-in. read more

I've been to this place countless times and only ever had one bad experience(bad oysters) but every other time I've gone everything's been great. They're chicken is some of the best I've ever had and their rice is delicious. They also have this bread that is really good. If you're a fan of Greek food you should definitely give this place a try. read more

We have eaten here many times, but we decided to order our dinner from them today via skip the dishes. It may have been one of the best meals I have ever eaten. I had the chicken cotoleta, it was hot, the chicken moist and the gravy to die for. Maybe the best potato's in town. My wife had the dolmadakia meal, and she also agreed it was great. The only thing that would have made it better was eating in, but we could not because of COVID. Hats off to the staff here, and it was great to support local owned also. read more

Our absolute favourite place to eat. Food is always spectacular, service friendly, atmosphere is quiet and romantic. Fully stocked bar with fun and interesting drink menu, or traditional drinks if that is your thing. They have a great combo for 2-3 people with a variety of traditional Greek foods, each one more delicious than the previous. read more

This place is amazing. We travelled to Kingston in the long weekend and arrived there closed to 9pm. Most of the restaurants closed near 9:30pm on saturday but this place closes at 11pm. The location is very convenient and you can just park outside of the restaurant with plenty of parking space. The restaurant inside is very spacious and comfortable. We ordered the chicken rice soup, fried calamari, chicken fillet dinner. The chicken rice soup used lemon juice, chicken and rice and it tasted almost like the chinese congee but better. I really like the lemon juice flavor in the soup. The chicken fillet was so tender and juice and not overly cooked with the burned mark, according to the menu that they used olive oil to marinate, and it came with rice, potatoes and steam veggies and quite a big portion. The food was so good and we came back the next morning for lunch as we don't travel to Kingston that often. I live in Toronto and there are plenty of greek restaurants but I haven't found anything as good as this. read more

The atmosphere is very outdated and tacky, it took our waitress 20 minutes to greet us and there was only 1 other table in the restaurant. We were never checked in on so ate our meal with 1 drink, the menu is confusing and the food is not authentic and tastes frozen. There are much better greek spots in Kingston read more

Went there for cirque de soleil from Toronto and was absolutely delighted. Being Greek, I cannot say enough about this restaurant !! All the food was delicious.
