I personally would not recommend the place. We had a big order that included pho, pad Thai, spring rolls, sweet and sour chicken, spicy chicken and fried rice. I'm a usual pad Thai person and this wasn't pad Thai. It didn't taste or look like it. It looked like noodles with a spaghetti sauce. The chicken in the spicy chicken was overcooked. The spring rolls didn't taste fresh. This takeout was just a miss for me

Riding thru town and was hoping for my favorite Thai but it was closed so i settled for this. What a disappointment!! The salad roll was decent but the peanut sauce was weak. I ordered the green curry with chicken. Horrible!! Tasteless and watery. Absolutely no flavor. I don't think they used coconut milk. It was more like just straight water. Took home the leftovers to try and fix them at home. No hope. Just a nasty mess. Spent over $20 for bad food. And the spoons are in a container left on the table and the handles are down and the part for your mouth is exposed to anybody's nasty dirty hands reaching into the clump of spoons. Gross!! Unsanitary!!!

Love the young man that works there, he gets our order right every time ! It's super fresh and hot

Order the yakisoba and teriyaki chicken. Teriyaki chicken was dry with barely any sauce or flavor. The yakisoba meat barely had any flavor, and the noodles were bland.

We decided to try a new restaurant being new to Yelm and we found ourselves at Pho Yelm. It's a big restaurant with a lot of open space. The service was quick and friendly! The only complaint would be that we were not checked on after we received our food so we did not get refills on our drinks. The food was great! We ordered the egg rolls to start followed by the Combo Pho, the grilled chicken salad and the children's teriyaki rice platter. I was a little surprised by the menu with their "salads" as most Vietnamese restaurants I have been to do not refer to them as such. Normally I see them listed as Vermicelli Noodle bowls. But it's just a name, the food was PHOnominal ;) and warmed our bellys on the dark, rainy day. Overall, we had a great experience and will absolutely be back again! Thank you, Pho Yelm!

Great atmosphere, always such a yummy go to when I'm not feeling well. Liberty was our waitress and she was so kind. She continued to constantly check on us and when we had a problem with the soda, she was very prompt and kind about it. Even made sure the soda was better when she brought back a new one and they just changed all the soda syrups too. So glad to see that they have more than one waitress working because I know it can get chaotic at times here especially during dinner. For sure will be returning.

Not bad for food to-go! Came in to order their chicken pad thai to try and ended getting the Pad Thai combo (mixed steak, pork, chicken, and shrimp) two spring rolls and thai iced teas as well. The food came out in good time and were boxed well and the employee's were pleasant to talk to. My only thing to suggest was to have a spice range for the "spicy" dishes they have, i would've liked it spicer than they gave me. Although it was tasty and ill come back to try other dishes here to-go.

Very friendly service, everything came out quickly, and the portions were huge. Everything we ordered was delicious and fairly priced. Highly recommend the combination pho, fresh spring rolls, chicken teriyaki, and taro boba!

I ordered takeout here on a Sunday afternoon through Doordash Pickup for my first visit. I called…read moretwice over the phone, hoping to place an order through this method, but no one answered; went straight to voicemail both times. Just a bit frustrating since I know Doordash charges more.. I also didn't want to place the order at the restaurant because I was so hungry and wanted to grab & go :( I was really craving pho and I liked their menu, so I took the chance and ordered both a regular-sized Meatball Pho (pho bo vien) and their Pho with Steak/Flank/Tendon/Fatty, which seems to be their "pho dac viet." On their menu, the price is listed as $15.99 for a Regular size and $17.99 for a Large. I paid $17.99 for each through Doordash for the regular-size, excluding the almost $4 of tax and bag fee.. Thankfully, I live nearby, so it was just a few minutes to drive over. It's in the same busy parking lot as Safeway and McDonald's but it's more on the opposite side, so I never realized it was in the same lot. Plenty of parking, at least. When I entered, the restaurant had plenty of seating but only a few tables occupied, which made me wonder why they didn't answer their phone.. I know I'm being petty over a few dollars but I just want to get bang for my buck. The inside looked nice and cozy, and I think would be a lovely place to enjoy a bowl of pho on an outcast/rainy day otherwise (if I didn't just want to go straight home lol). I was instantly greeted by a friendly employee that asked if I had a takeout order and escorted me over to a small table, where it was already neatly bagged and ready for me to retrieve. Now, the FOOD. I will say, it was absolutely delicious! Everything was organized and packaged well, so nothing spilled on the ride home. The pho was a good temperature: hot enough to cook the steak, but not overpowering enough to burn your mouth. The regular size still provides ample portions, so both my kiddo and I ate half for lunch, and our other half for dinner. I specifically asked for no beans sprouts with my order, so I do like that they provided enough for my son while still following my instructions. I am not too picky about my pho broth, but I can at least say, the broth here was not watered down. If anything, it might pack too much flavor and might deter some customers, but for me, it was savory and divine! I still had to add my obligatory hoisin and Sriracha sauces, so it might not be the healthiest, but i don't care, I slurped up everything! I usually post images of my food on social media [stories], and actually had a friend ask what the soup was because it looks really good. Some people have a finer palette for "good" Pho but for me, pho is pho as long as it is flavorful and there's a fair amount of MEAT! They offer moderate portions here so I can't complain, and everything was satisfying enough when eaten with the broth. 4 stars because they didn't answer the phone but my son and I devoured everything, so we can at least advocate that the pho is worth it! I'd recommend trying out this restaurant at least, especially if you consider yourself a pho connoisseur (or even a newbie to pho!).

This time we got the yellow curry chicken, chicken satay with peanut sauce, and chicken Pad Thai. Everything was really good, and the portions and prices make it an easy choice when we want something tasty without spending a fortune. We've eaten inside a few times too, and the service has always been friendly and fast. Even with everything happening in there, the service is always quick, friendly, and with a smile. We've taken the food home several times and it has never disappointed. If you're in Yelm and looking for a reliable, affordable takeout option, Red Lantern is definitely one to try! We'll be back!

Cute Fusion Asian place that tucked in the end or beginning of the plaza strip. Plenty of parking,…read morevery modern, contemporary decor inside with warm vibe. They do have mochi donuts here too. The place is clean, spacious and well layout. The menu is nice and plenty of Asian dishes, from Thai to Singapore to Vietnam to Chinese and so forth. Service is nice and attentive. Dishes came out quite fast. I am abit bias here since I'm Asian and I live in SoCal where all the Asian lives. So with that say, my dish is Vnese and nothing came close (yes I kept in mind of the fusion part) from taste to presentation l. Given that this is Yelm, therefore not much of expectation but they do have most of the dish's elements. And this apply to all dishes. It's not bad at all, my friend likes it a lot and this is her favorite place with her favorite dish of Singapore noodles...which I don't recalled that the noodle is that wet. The favor is there but it's wet, too wet in my POV. The mochi is nice and soft and chewy like and flavorful. Overall not bad, very water-fusion for my taste. Good service and nice place for sure.

Our food arrived in less than 30 minutes and I'm sure that it being a Tuesday night helped as it's not usually a busy day/night. We just finished eating and I told my husband I'm writing a review so people know the food is quality. First off, I told my husband I'm hoping the pho broth tastes like grandma made it and it did. Very clear and flavorful broth -a bit heavy on the aromatic spices and I mean that in a good way. It tasted great. I ordered the shrimp pho and substituted for beef broth. Very delicious. I love that there was a to-go big bowl with the noodles so I could pour the broth directly in there. It was the size of a Korean instant noodle bowl and it did the trick. Bean sprouts were on the side. I didn't get the cilantro or jalapeños, but it tasted good enough that I wasn't upset. They did put in the green and white onions I requested and they were fresh. We also ordered the crispy chicken vermicelli and the box was quite full. They give you your money's worth, which I appreciate since so many restaurants short-change you on food quantity when ordering to-go. Not here! The chicken is crispy and not at all greasy. There was also a fair amount. Large pieces of fresh crisp cucumbers. Healthy amount of noodles. Overall, excellent. My husband ordered the gyoza/potstickers, walnut shrimp and rice --all appetizer sized and we are happy with the flavor and quality of all of them. Overall, definitely recommend! Great flavors, fresh food, and good value. We feel we got our money's worth. We will order from here again.

I really wish they had mentioned that before I ordered. Basil is such an important part of the pho experience for me, and I think it would have taken an otherwise good bowl of soup to the next level. I also tried the egg rolls and wasn't a fan. Instead of being light and crispy, they were dense, not very crunchy, and fairly bland. The friendly service was definitely a positive, and the pho had good flavor, but the missing basil and disappointing egg rolls took away from the overall experience.
