I just moved here from SoCal where my guilty pleasure has always been Pho takeout. This is the first spot I have tried around here, and I was sadly disappointed with the taste/quality of the meal. It wasn't the worst, but definitely not anything special. I went in person to order, and the guy working up front was very friendly! I appreciated his kindness and suggestions. I noticed the menu is very small, but not a problem if the food is good. I always get rare beef/rare steak and so I ordered that in a Large and the salad rolls. Pricing came out to $22 which is about $4 more than what I typically would pay in California. Again, not a big deal at all when it's good. The pho was fine... the noodles seemed to be not as high quality as what I'm used to and the portion was a lot smaller than expected. The salad rolls were awful. A lot of slimy textures and almost a soapy taste? Which is odd because I love cilantro so I know it's nothing to do with that fluke where people think it tastes like soap. Overall I was bummed with the taste/textures so I am still on the hunt for my new go-to spot. read more

Very disappointed with this Pho location. It has been here in Monroe for many years, as we have also but this place seems to be getting worse by the day. The service is horrible if you decide to dine in. Typically any of the young ladies that work there give off a horrible vibe that they don't want to be bothered and annoyed that you are even there. The food has degraded tremendously over the years. Not only the taste but the value and portions. The picture I added was a large #4, eye round steak and flank steak. It came with 8 pieces of meat. Very good pho! That said, I feel I need to express some opinions about the store after a recent visit. I recently learned that the previous owners sold and the recipes are a little different. I'm sure the new owners will do a great job, but for such a limited menu, I must say that I wish they had maintained the same recipes from the previous owners if the name of the restaurant is to remain the same. Specifically, the egg rolls are not as good as they used to be. They are serviceable, but not exceptional. But when compared to the previous egg rolls, my son and I were left a bit sad. I dunno if the oil changed or what, but they are completely different flavors and not as good. Also they were very oily even for a deep fried item. I hope once they settle in, they can consider that they bought a restaurant that the community loves and so changing recipes, even for something small like an egg roll, is enough to make us not order them anymore. We'll still come for the pho, though. That still tasted very good. read more

Best pho in the Sky Valley area. Service so far has been great for take out. I have never sat down to eat so I can't say too much. The place is clean from what I can see when I pick up and food is always done on time. This is my go to spot when I do not feel well and not in the mood to make soup at home. Great pho spot in Monroe, good for apres ski when you are driving back from Stevens into town...reasonably priced, generous portions, and will satisfy the itch for pho. Hard to say the broth stands apart from any other good pho places--which is not a knock. Literally just pho. They were out of most of their appetizers. Sadly we weren't impressed. Most of the tables were dirty and the floor was super sticky which is prob just because someone spilled a drink and it didn't get properly mopped up while wet. This was really delicious, I had the V2 with Spring rolls(fresh rolls). They had a tofu substitute. It was really amazing and they customer service was great too-!! Was really hoping Monroe had a good pho place. This isn't it. Service here is slow and at times indifferent. Nothing to make you want to return. The pho? Weak. Tastes almost watered down, and the main spice taste is cinnamon. Not much flavor really, and certainly not the traditional deep flavor of pho that one expects. It wouldn't take much to make this place great. Basically what it would take is a good pho broth recipe. But the people here are so enamored of their current product (you'll hear them talk about how great it is to everyone constantly while you are there) that I doubt they'll ever take the blinders off and go get a real pho recipe that's worthy of the name. We stopped by here on a visit to the bounce house nearby. Found it on Yelp and glad they were stopped in for a visit. Great rainy day food. Service was fast and friendly. This place was delicious!! This is I'd say my 3rd time having pho soup before and the first 2 times I tried it at DIFFERENT places the broth wasn't that good. This spot has changed my mind. I had the #3 and the broth was very flavorful, the meat was delicious and the rice noddles and all the different toppings to put in were very good. We tried both the different kinds of rolls and they were both really good. It's hard now finding good food places where the people can actually cook and care about how it tastes.
