    Eye Round Steak Large

Very disappointed with this Pho location. It has been here in Monroe for many years, as we have also but this place seems to be getting worse by the day. The service is horrible if you decide to dine in. Typically any of the young ladies that work there give off a horrible vibe that they don't want to be bothered and annoyed that you are even there. The food has degraded tremendously over the years. Not only the taste but the value and portions. The picture I added was a large #4, eye round steak and flank steak. It came with 8 pieces of meat. It was practically a kids meal. Overall this place is very disappointing and I would suggest going elsewhere for Pho.

I've tried a few different Pho places and this one is my favorite. I grew up in Monroe and no longer live in the area, but whenever I visit and I'm able to I grab the V1. So yummy and the employees are always kind.

I think there are just two pho places in town, and this is the better one. Far superior salad/fresh rolls, too. It's very good and the price is as reasonable as anyplace is anymore. The staff here is always great. Pho service was very fast tonight.

This was really delicious, I had the V2 with Spring rolls(fresh rolls). They had a tofu substitute. It was really amazing and they customer service was great too-!! It wasn't incredibly fancy, but it was a nice casual eat. I really appreciated how many condiments were offered and how bit the portions were. I got a small and had leftovers.

Was really hoping Monroe had a good pho place. This isn't it. Service here is slow and at times indifferent. Nothing to make you want to return. The pho? Weak. Tastes almost watered down, and the main spice taste is cinnamon. Not much flavor really, and certainly not the traditional deep flavor of pho that one expects. It wouldn't take much to make this place great. Basically what it would take is a good pho broth recipe. But the people here are so enamored of their current product (you'll hear them talk about how great it is to everyone constantly while you are there) that I doubt they'll ever take the blinders off and go get a real pho recipe that's worthy of the name. And that is too bad. Monroe could use a good pho place.

It's…read morebasically $10 for a drink, and they only offer one size, which is the smaller size of a usual tea place's volume. BUT they are remarkably consistent, with perfectly chewy pearls and high quality teas. So, even though I'm paying a lot, I know it's going to be good. I got the Dong Ding Oolong with cream, perfect sweet and less ice with boba. The Dong Ding oolong is a high mountain oolong with a strong malty, nutty, roasty taste. It perfectly complements the cream. I prefer cream as opposed to milk since I think the cream gives the drink a thicker, more velvety mouthfeel if you mix it into the tea, plus before mixing you can sip on the cream and the tea separately, so it's like you can enjoy two drinks in one cup!

Since Chicha San Chen opened its Bellevue Square location, I have stopped by a couple times. While…read morethey serve some of the best boba, the tea flavor tastes a bit diluted compared to what I noted in my previous review. Because they brew each cup on order, I expected the tea to be more apparent, but in every drink I've tried it takes a backseat to other flavors. + DONG DING OOLONG TEA LATTE: I opted for light sugar and light ice. Despite being one of the most popular drinks, the tea flavor was weak and the cream dominated. It had a smooth consistency with subtle caramel notes, so it still tasted good, but I would have loved for the tea to shine more. At least the $1 addition of boba is pretty generous and I had enough for every sip! It was perfectly cooked with that nice chewy bounce. Since the boba itself is sweetened, going to 0% sweetness would probably be just sweet enough for me. + OSMANTHUS TEA w/ PASSIONFRUIT: Again, this leaned heavily toward the passionfruit rather than delivering a distinct tea flavor. (Side note: At the register, I received a sample of the High Mountain Pouchong Tea with Mango. This was sweet, super fruity and reminded me of mango nectar. It's really delicious, but only had a tiny hint of green tea.) + OSMANTHUS OOLONG HONEY TEA: I selected light sugar and light ice without toppings, hoping to taste the pure tea. I picked up the floral notes of the Osmanthus and the tea flavor came through a wee bit more than the other drinks, though still wasn't the dominant flavor. The amount of honey was on the verge of being too sweet, but the drink overall was refreshing and crisp. The new location in Bellevue Square is very clean with a few tables for two along the wall. It is consistently busy, so just be prepared for a wait. However, there are multiple employees preparing the drinks, so while the line appears long, they churn out orders pretty quickly without getting flustered. It's impressive! Given the steep pricing for the cup size and the weak tea flavor, Chicha San Chen wouldn't be my go-to spot considering all the other boba tea options in Bellevue.

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #121…read more On my previous visit to Tealogy over a year ago, I received a drink that was decent enough to to satisfy my boba cravings, but with some definite shortcomings. During that visit, I saw some rarer varieties of milk teas on the menu, which intrigued me enough to revisit over a recent weekend. Tealogy has a single kiosk for convenience, which I used to place my order. I do want to say Tealogy's interior doesn't seem to be the most clean. On my visit, there was a clear musty smell throughout and the floors were very sticky. Spring Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, 50% Ice w/ Boba ($7.50) - This is clearly a high mountain oolong given the flowery oolong fragrance. It's quite a strong flavor, although muted a tiny bit by a somewhat excessive amount of liquid non dairy creamer added. The sweetness level is also a bit too high, most likely because of the sugar soak of the boba. Still, the drink is quite pleasing to sip on. The boba unfortunately isn't great. The pearls are far too firm. They are inconsistent in size with most being somewhat lumpy shrunken balls, like they weren't given enough time to expand in boiling water. While still a little bouncy, it's clear that these have a lot of room to grow. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 Boba Rating: 3.5/5 TieGuanYin Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, 50% Ice w/ Boba ($7.75) - This one tastes somewhat vegetal and malty with a hint of scorched leaves. It's quite a bit weaker than the high mountain with most of the tea flavor unfortunately drowned out by the creamer. It's definitely a weaker drink than the Spring Milk Tea. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Tealogy remains a 4. They serve some good quality tea and some unique varieties not commonly found at other boba shops. Unfortunately their boba is mediocre. I really wish they had the da hong pao (Wuyi red robe) on weekends! Why only Tuesday-Thursday? Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

OG Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, 50% Ice w/ Boba ($7.70) - The milk tea is not too sweet and is mixed well with no grittiness. Flavor-wise, it's a kind of a generic black tea. Nothing special or outstanding but also no off flavors. The boba is pretty similar in quality - a bit on the firm side, very smooth pearls, but very inconsistent in size. They aren't soaked very long in whatever sugar solution they use since there isn't much sweetness on the exterior and the main taste comes from the molasses mixed in with the tapioca starch.
