The rate was good and they did a…read moredecent job although I asked their movers to mask because we are immune compromised and one of them removed her mask right in our faces while we were paying which I did not appreciate and was dangerous. This time the crew was 45 minutes late because they went to the wrong address during the first part of the move despite me being very clear, repeatedly, where to go. That was very inconvenient and my mom had to wait around in her car outside a storage unit while I kept having to message to ask what was going on and barely got a response. I received the final invoice and paid it immediately with a nice tip anyway. A couple days later I started getting a bunch of emails from the company saying that I hadn't paid. I sent them a screenshot of the $0 invoice balance and the transaction on my credit card. It had the name of the owner and a transaction ID and their ZIP Code. They continued to message me every few days saying we didn't get your payment, you must've sent it to the wrong place, they even sent me another invoice like they expected me to pay again. I kept telling them to check in on their side and that I didn't know what else to do. I provided ample screenshots showing that I paid and they kept blaming me and trying to bill me again. I finally filed a dispute with my credit card company which was painful because I'm disabled and making phone calls hurts me. I didn't know what else to do because this is not a small bill and the company wouldn't stop bothering me. Finally they made a call themselves and immediately sorted it out which they could've done in the first place and then they apologized to me and said yes you did pay right away it was an error on our end. This was a complete waste of time and completely unprofessional. It's not appropriate to harass a customer who paid, who has clear evidence of paying, instead of just doing your due diligence and trying to resolve the issue without making me feel doubted and blamed for days. I can't recommend this company and I'm very angry about the way I was treated. Harassed for something that wasn't my fault at all and that they could've resolved with one quick phone call on their end instead of bothering me when I had just moved and they know I'm disabled. The movers came promptly on the day we agreed upon to move my belongings. These movers handled my things with care and were professional. No complaints with the movers in Tacoma. After my things were taken and moved to their storage facility, I attempted to call in to get an update on when my things would be picked up and the process and that's where the communication started to drop. I called in several times and conveniently the person I was requesting to talk to was never available. I never received calls back from the person who I was requesting to speak with. I would only receive updates every couple of days and my delivery date was delayed. I was contacted by a delivery person a day before my delivery date in KY. He did arrive on the date he said he'd be there however it was extremely unprofessional. He originally arrived by himself and said he was waiting on a mover to show up. I later found out he hired a random guy off of Craigslist to help him move my belongings in my house. He charged me extra money because we "had stairs." They did not lay out anything to cover my carpets which were dirty after they were done. There were several marks and scuffs on my walls from them banging furniture carelessly. Because they were not experienced movers, they almost dropped an expensive piece of furniture while carrying it upstairs. Instead of completely dropping it, they dropped it into the wall creating a large divot. I was so anxious that they might continue to damage furniture, my fiancé and I helped them carry furniture. They were not fit to do this job and did not come with the correct amount of people to move my items. There were several pieces of my furniture that were damaged (not sure if it were due to them or during the move). I did appreciate that they put an AirTag in one of my boxes and nothing was missing! They were up front and transparent about any extra charges (we were charged $150 for the 32 steps up to our flat). And these guys worked HARD with hardly any downtime or breaks. I was floored. You may be able to find a lower hourly rate with other moving companies in the city but I was beyond pleased with their hard work and was happy to pay the rate with how quickly they got the job done. This process was smooth and easy to schedule via email. I scheduled for 8 a.m. and the movers were there right on the button. My move was from a one bedroom apt (no stairs) to a three bedroom with one staircase. The distance is just over ten minutes away. From the moment they arrived to signing the paperwork at completion, the entire move had only taken about 2hrs and 20mins.
