Show up for your appt early, wait an hour+ to see a nurse, then wait another 2+ hours to see the doctor who leaves a lot to be desired. His "beside" manner is atrocious. While I get he's a doctor, he talks to patients like they are total idiots and beneath him. If you need an eye specialist I'd recommend finding someone else - unless you're into waiting HOURS at your appointment and being talked to like you're dumb.

Then, after rescheduling and waiting weeks for that appointment, I got another call less than one week before my rescheduled appointment informing me that my doctor decided to take time off. When I called to reschedule the receptionist literally said "yeah, that doctor takes a lot of time off in the summer." Next available appointment is two months from now after I've already been pushed off for months and I have no guarantee he'll actually show up to that one either. This has happened multiple times with this doctor and this practice. I've been asked to see his associates more than once due to his frequent cancellations. 100% do not recommend. Family life comes first, always, but the disregard this practice and its doctors has for patients is astounding. Good doctors are a dime a dozen. Don't waste your time or money on this practice.

Blind By Derick…read more Robert Derick and vitreous retinal surgeon, Doctor Dino Klisovic implanted the BAERVELDT glaucoma implant. (Dr Klisovic is the finest surgeon in Columbus). One day after the implantation my appointment with Dr Klisovic said , I was doing so well I did not need to come back. My pressures were. 10 and I was seeing perfectly out of both eyes. Next, I had to meet with Dr. Derick,a few days later.. At the appointment my vision was even better when tested by his nurse. My nightmare: Dr. Derick wanted to trim the suture that controlled the flow of vitreous, but not to sever the suture. My wife warned him if he cut the suture I could go blind. This foolish man cut the suture and said I would be fine. 12 hours later my eye pressure was "0", and I was blind. I remain blind two years later almost to the day.
