Building a house is stressful and frustrating enough, but is even more frustrating when companies don't have time for you and you need something done to move on to the next step. If a particular company was swamped, I would have appreciated a simple phone call back saying they are extremely busy and can't take the work. I would respect that. But completely ignoring a potential customer is unprofessional. Let me say that Peninsula Electric was the complete opposite. They were responsive every time I called. They communicated very well. Their pricing was reasonable. They came out and performed the work on the day and the time slot we agreed to. This is extremely important when coordinating multiple things, and are dependent on the previous task being completed. Couldn't have asked for better service. Now that the house construction is complete, I will definitely be using Peninsula Electric for additional electrical work in the yard, deck, and Sheds. Highly recommend!

What really impressed me was his response during the recent flooding in Skykomish. On his own time, Shane came back out to check on things. He lifted our generator to keep it from being submerged or swept away. While there, he noticed our propane tanks had broken loose and were floating in the floodwater. He went into chest-deep, freezing water to retrieve them and secure them to nearby trees so they wouldn't be lost. That kind of dedication is rare. We have been consistently pleased with the quality of work and overall professionalism. This week, we finished up the kitchen lights project. While doing the kitchen lights, they realized that due to the old and rather complex wiring of our house, we had to solve for a couple unexpected issues. The most notable issue was that the new arc fault breaker kept tripping when we turned on a hallway light. His team diagnosed the issue and solved it quickly. The primary job took just part of one day, but identifying the unforseen issues and getting the parts stretched it out another couple days. However, the entire time Gavin was in communication with us. He emailed and called to provide updates and to schedule his team ASAP to come by. Very intimidating and "angry" acting. We were scared. I told him to leave. Billed anyway. Almost called 911. Then he called my wife and hassled her on the phone. What a nightmare!!!! Only call this guy if you enjoy intimidation and being servile. Never, ever, again. Never did anything to the generator other than take pictures and finally left. Yelled a lot.
