Finding Tastefully Done is kind of fun. The gps brought us to an office and fortunately we noticed a sign on the entrance to the garage. You enter through the parking garage then turn right. The lobby of the building is key card protected but the restaurant is out side that area. If this cafe was in my office building I would be excited! The chicken salad is outstanding! It is shredded chicken, mayo, grapes, and almonds. I had it on a garden salad which was very fresh and crisp mixed greens, cucumber, tomato, onion. The chicken salad reminded me of the salad from Cafe Diva in Norwood (now closed) which I miss. The cafe is in the basement of an office building. There are tables but no windows or charm. Tastefully Done is absolutely fabulous. I needed a caterer and Karen assisted and showed up BIG time for me. I had a baby shower and she showed up with a delicious cheese board, followed by chicken piccata, roasted asparagus, roasted baby potatoes and a lovely salad with smoked gouda with apples. It was a boisterous, loud, group and when we sat down to eat, the room went silent and all you heard was mmmmm and yummm. Karen not only prepared our food, she delivered it all to the party location in the middle of a busy Saturday, with a huge smile on her face, easy to follow directions and showed complete gratitude to us for supporting her business. This place is located in an office building right across from the university ave amtrack station. It is pretty well hidden but if you drive around to the back of the building you can access the café through the garage underneath. There are parking spots marked. The food is fantastic. The chicken salad is the best chicken salad I have had hands down. They do a big catering business as well, I have had their food for dinner meetings and it has been great. The brownies are also amazing. They have a different soup everyday and usually at least one special sandwich or entrée. You can call in your order so it is ready before you get there as well. The staff is super friendly and sweet. Give them a try if you work in the area. They do breakfast as well. read more

Tastefully Done did an amazing job catering food for my bridal shower. We were able to make our desired menu in a very customizable format. The food was able to accommodate different diets and allergens. Additionally, they had one person staff the event so that they could restock the food, that way me, my mom and my maid of honor could enjoy the event. We had a delightful experience. read more

This has got to be one of the best kept secrets in the area. Located in the parking garage beneath the office building sits this little sub shop with big proportions and an awesome staff. Unfortunately you really gotta be looking for it to know it's there as there is no outside signs except for the small one on the entry way door. The shop really caters to the employees of the various businesses located in the office building, but I work in the area and my co-worker was kind enough to show me the place when we went out for lunch. Needless to say, since then, it has become a Friday ritual. The staff is great, and like I said, the sanwiches are AWESOME! I suggest the Turkey Club, made with freshly cut (you can see the turkeys on the counter) thanksgiving style turkey loaded with bacon, tomato, and anything else you might want. The Dan's Dynamo is a great burger and comes with fries for a really great price as well. To top it off, they have some of the best brownies around! (if you aren't already stuffed) They have great soups and salads, as well as all the typical deli dishes you would expect. If you are in the area, I highly suggest stopping in! read more

Started a new job in Canton and didn't know where to go when I forgot my lunch one day. Using yelp found this place. It's legit in a parking garage of an office building, one sign out front but nothing else leading you to the cafe. I eventually found it. Ordered the chicken salad on a braided roll, grabbed a soda and a bag if chips. Everything was very fresh and delicious. The girl at the counter said they shut down the grill at 2pm but according to the website they close at 3. Will definitely be back. Excellent!! I had a veggie omelet with cheese and it was executed to perfection. The veggies inside were nicely cooked, including the caramelized onions and the the eggs weren't greasy at all. When you go down University Ave and the Train Station is on your left, take the right at the light where the brown office building is. It is directly across University Ave from the train station. Drive around to the back of the building and park outside where the garage entrance is. The garage has all reserved spaces. Walk into the garage and straight ahead, slightly to the left, you will see a walkway with a railing. Go into that entrance then enter the building and you will see the restaurant on the right. There is a sign on the door with the restaurant's name. Once you've done it the first time, it will be a breeze there after. I plan to make this a regular part of my rotation. Getting back on 128/95 going south is a breeze as when you exit the parking lot and take a right, that puts you right on to the entrance ramp towards Braintree. Easy peasy!! read more

This place was incredibly difficult to find and is literally hidden in the basement of an office building. That being said, I'm glad it is hidden because if this was its own standalone location, the lines would be out the door every day at noon. I ordered the Cornerstone sandwich (grape chicken salad, chopped pickle, fresh tomato, and romaine lettuce on toasted wheat). The wheat bread was hearty, fresh and toasted to perfection. Tomato was ripe and garden fresh. Chopped pickle was not your average pickle. Artisan dill, not too sour, not too sweet and tasted home made (max effort if so ). Finally, the chicken salad. Chicken salad is generally and underwhelming and rarely impressive sandwich choice. Normally it is relatively bland, has too much mayo, and sometimes in the worst scenarios, you can tell the chicken has come from a can. Not this chicken salad. This chicken salad tasted like it is freshly shredded roasted chicken. It was sweet and salty and full of flavor. I can't believe I am raving about chicken salad but I am just smitten with it and want to shout my love from the top of the internet mountain. I LOVE THE CHICKEN SALAD FROM TASTEFULLY DONE CAFÉ AND I DON'T CARE WHO KNOWS IT! That being said, I will be back again. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. read more

I almost never write reviews, but when somethings good it deserves to be recognized. I'm big on lunch, sets the pace for my whole day. This is by far the best place in the area. The daily specials chance every day and are also fantastic. Furthermore, every single meal is made FRESH and to-order. Nothing is pre-made. I can't say enough good things. I started working in this area in January and i eat here as often as i can. Just today i got the Mia's Chicken Cutlet sub on a braided and you can tell that the oil in the fry must be changed very regularly and of very high quality because its one of the freshest chicken cutlets i've had.
