I was in town for the BTS concert at Gillette. Flight was delayed and needed to find a place to eat opened past 10 pm. We called just to make sure they were open and Tom said only pizzas were available. Uber dropped us off on the roadside, like their namesake. We sat at the bar where a few locals were already enjoying themselves. We just needed a quick bite but received the first New England hospitality in our trip. Tom made some of the best "secret" ingredient crusted pizzas I've had. I thought it was beer battered or something. It wasn't. It had a nice chewy that didn't sag when picked up. I couldn't stop eating slice after slice. Paired with their in house root beer. Perfect! Local eateries and places visit were recommended to us vs going to the tourist traps. Even the customers there were so gracious offering pizza to us. Definitely had the hometown feel that I don't see a whole lot of in Cali. Great food. Great service. Makes you feel right at home. If I'm a back in town again, would definitely come earlier to try the other BBQ items on their menu Thanks Tom! read more

Was here with a few people and it's a funny place...setup is weird but in a good way as I liked the way they out-coved the bar and sealed off from rest of restaurant. Kept table section manageable for conversation and bar crowd noise at bay, well done. However, review is about food, and service which was excellent, btw!!! Burgers were top notch, good selection, and cooked perfectly as ordered...hard to find unfortunately so cheers to that! Shoestring onions, brioche bun and fries were very good! Wings were a other story as we tried to order wings in bucket, and double baked to test both ways but server convinced us wings only came one way which was double baked...at end of meal I saw the first wing on menu and realized somehow thing's got miscommunicated which I was disappointed about, but is what is I'll have to go back as we didn't like the double baked to be honest, one batch was tough and not that hot, definitely not double baked and the other was just average and rubbery and sauce was just not doing it. Ones in the "bucket" I saw at end of meal on way out looked more like the saucy wings we were looking for, so choose wisely! Id definitely go back but careful with your wing selection! read more

Took my Husband out for his birthday. His choice was Clyde's. Firstly I have to praise our server, Ann. She was fun, friendly and has a great personality. She is a great asset to the restaurant. Servers like her are the main reason customers choose to return. Great job Ann. On to the food review. Hubby and I ordered starter of chili and chowder. Both yummy. We both ordered the bourbon steak tips and we were very happy with our choice. Steak tip were perfectly cooked, his rare, and mine medium rare. Margaritas were a must. Great job to all. The only negative is the size of the bathroom(s)...lol. You may get a broken nose while getting paper towels if someone opens the door. read more

Had a great time on a Saturday night at Clyde's and the place was great! I haven't been back in a few years and was happy to remember that we were close by and headed there immediately. Menu has a lengthy selection. I was dying for a burger mainly because saw them coming to other tables and the smell was that overwhelming smell of tasty. My daughter had a barbecue plate that she loved. Everyone was very helpful and attentive. Many people asking how was everything going. Clyde's is a short skip and a jump near Patriots Place. This was a great stop when traveling. As other reviews say, the setup of the tables is a little odd but it separates the diners from the bar patrons. Sunday brunch and standard menu items give a lot to choose from at very reasonable prices. Expect a mixed crowd as it is very kid friendly and offers a lot for the money. The variety of menu items makes sense for the range of guests that they serve. BBQ items are great and staff were deferential to guests. read more

Yelp is great for sharing both exceptional and horrible experiences and I rarely use it for the latter. But sometimes service is so bad you have to say something. Our server ( Philine ) forgot so many parts of our order that I honestly felt like I was watching an SNL skit. She forgot the appetizers, the drinks, the side order, the # of boxes asked for etc etc. The worst part? After we cancelled the appetizer she forgot, she came back 10 minutes after we finished eating holding it and asked, "Are you sure you don't want it?" We said no, and instead of apologizing by offering to comp it, she simply walked away. A good server would've said, "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience," left the dish with us, and taken it off the bill. And to make it even more concerning, we requested no cheese due to a food allergy, and of course, that detail was forgotten too. That's not just bad service. That can be dangerous. I rarely post negative reviews, but coming from years in the restaurant industry, this experience was truly unacceptable. read more

Good wings. Juicy and crispy at the same time. We got Buffalo medium and garlic. I thought the garlic wings could have used a bit more seasoning. The Buffalo wings were good with the restaurants own original sauce. More vinegary/ tobasco based than Frank's but still good. Fries were very good. read more

Got takeout spent over $100 I couldn't believe the ribs in the sandwiches that we got the ribs had like no barbecue sauce they were totally dry and no flavor at all. They gave you coleslaw that was only a forkful in a tiny small container. You gotta be shitting me even the cornbread was dry and sucked. I can get better food at McDonald's. Don't get me wrong. I don't mind paying the money but when I get junk like this, I don't appreciate it you'll never ever see me or my friends there again and I got a lot of friends that go there. Hadn't been in a while went for a late late dinner 9pm party of 10. Staff is always fun. Food came out quick too and was delicious!

I've had 4 meals here now, so I feel I can give an honest and valid review. The food here could use some improvement. The atmosphere is great. The service and help is friendly and attentive. It's a fairly clean place too. I even love the menu. But the food falls short. Whether it be the famed meatloaf, the fish tacos, the brisket, or the salmon. It's either smothered in sauce to make the main ingredient unrecognizable, or dried out, or disgustingly fatty (see my photos). The one great and satisfying item was the Buffalo Cauliflower. Perfectly cooked with the right amount of bleu cheese crumble and side dipping sauce. Oh, and the beer on tap is a small but varied selection and frosty cold. That alone always stands for something. The main attraction here is being across the lot from a good hotel and not being a Hooters. Sadly though, I'll probably test another entree again someday when here again for work. read more

Rustic place very dim lit . Nice music playing most of the time . The chicken pot pie was simply amazing ! I'm unsure if there were potatoes in it I'd order a side ! When my husband got home with our order, we were very disappointed. My husband ordered steak tips and chix strips dinner meal. No sides were included. Sauces used to come on the side. This time it wasn't. I ordered the Carolina chicken salad. They told my husband that it comes with creamy Italian dressing. If you see on the menu, it comes with honey mustard. I gave it 2 stars because what we ate was decent. We called to let them know what was wrong with our order. They said the place was busy but the manager would look into later. Most likely we're going to be forgotten about just like how our order was missing items. Worst experience to date. I think it'll be awhile before we order or go there again. read more

This is the first time I've actually given a restaurant a review had to download the app in order to do this went there on Friday August 1st had lunch food was just okay the waitress was just okay had to ask her twice for a refill on a tonic water when it came time for the Bill 2 hours later I had to track her down in order to get our bill when we did get our bill she brought the slip and it had no place to leave a tip handed on my debit card when she came back she came back with two more slips this time with a place to leave a tip and the total but in the middle of doing that I got an alert on my phone that I was charged for the meal already so I asked the waitress I was already charged for this it was in pending in my bank account and was told they go in manually the next day and they just add the tip in so I said okay on Saturday August 2nd lo and behold I am now charged for the meal again plus the tip so what was a $90 bill they now have $167 tied up when I call the manager today mark and tried to find out what was going on I was told because I chose to use a credit card it's pending and it will go away in a couple of days the point is why do you have my money tied up for a couple of days it shouldn't be like this the moral of the story is if you're going to go to Clyde's for okay food pay by cash or don't go at all this was very upsetting will never ever go back again read more
