Patrick spent 30 minutes with the starting issue and didn't charge me a dime because he couldn't replicate the problem. He spent an hour checking my power steering and parking brake, told me what it would take to fix the power steering leak, and actually advised me not to have it done yet as it wasn't necessary. He could have just done the work and made over $1000, but he didn't. He couldn't get the cabling for the parking brake, so he gave me a few suggestions for that. He didn't charge me anything for the diagnosis. Patrick is the most honest mechanic I have ever met. If he doesn't fix anything, he doesn't charge you anything. That is unheard of in today's world. He has gained me as a customer for as long as I live here. Anytime someone has vehicle issues, I always recommend his shop. My hat is off to him and his team for their honesty and integrity. I'd give their shop 10 stars if I could.

This is a BMW with complex electrics, and good security measures. He arrived promptly and did an amazing job, including locating the charging lugs once the car was opened and the hood up (battery is in the rear). I had a scheduled appointment for something that should take at most an hour. As well was told it…read morewould take an hour upon making the appointment. The guy behind the counter was extremely disrespectful at one point laughing at me when I stated I would simply hangout till the job was completed. He than explained this simple four wire installation would take 3 hours to install. His excuses was a relay needs to be installed (a relay consists of 4 wires 5 at most) After I explained to him that I am a mobile mechanic and have knowledge base behind the install he then got very disrespectful going as far as calling this "entire conversation ridiculous". Clearly this company does not care one bit about their customer service. I would advise any other towing / Mechanic shop in Albany Oregon.
