I desperately tried to get it unlocked; looked for another key, anything I could think of short of breaking a window, while waiting. My dog was inside the van, as we were getting ready to leave for the day. I had loaded him up and shut the door so I could get his water and lock up the house. Fortunately, we are parked in a relatively shaded spot and it is not too hot on the coast today. The driver (Darby, I think he said) called me back within a few minutes of being dispatched to let me know he was on his way. Less than 10 minutes later, he had pulled up and was working to get the pup out. Took him just a few short minutes to get the door unlocked. My pup was unfazed by the whole thing and I am a whole lot less panicked! Thank you so much Darby for saving the day!

To top it off I had two sliders put in and one was installed upside down because. The rollers for the sliding screen are actually on the top! There was no apology or adjustment to price, just a LOT of excuses and some out-right lies. I would never consider working with them again.

I have AAA, but they were not able to tow the car as it was too far down the steep embankment and was now classified as a recovery or extraction. I called Car Care Pro Tow to see if they could extract and tow it the day after the incident, and they did. Within an hour after calling, they had signage to close the road for the tow vehicle and flatbed, and to keep everyone safe. Four to five people were working on getting the truck pulled up the embankment (some came to help on their day off). The steering linkage was broken, which made it very difficult to maneuver the truck. They eventually got it pulled up the embankment and onto a flatbed, and then they towed it to my place in Pacific City. The space to pull in and out of the driveway was limited so they could not get the truck backed in straight right away. I requested that they try to get it straight in as much as possible. They spent a good 30-60 min using a crowbar to get the wheels to turn since the steering was broken, and they did eventually get it straight in. And, they did not create more damage to the truck during any part of the extraction, tow, or in parking it. I am so impressed with everyone's tenacity, strength, skill, and professionalism before, during, and after the vehicle extraction and tow.
