To be able to trust Springdale with large, senior dogs whose only source of stimulation is the walks and playtime the staff provides them with has made all the difference in the world. We have gone on so many more trips since finding this facility- the girls always come home happy and exhausted! They are great with communication when needed, but for the most part I get to enjoy my trips knowing "no news is good news" and that they are always loved and cared for when they are here. Cannot recommend them enough- staff is so friendly and I feel so lucky to have a boarding facility that I can 100% trust. I recommend them to absolutely everyone!

Only three trainers that were expected to rotate through all of these 50 dogs. At any given time, you can find dogs sitting in pens alone. On the pick up day, they give you a packet which includes potential Giardia information to make it seem like it's normal and didn't directly come from their camp, only after picking up our dog, did they tell us she came to them with Giardia and they treated it for us except they never did a stool sample test or informed us of the medication being given. This is a marketing scheme designed to funnel dogs in take your money and give them back to you with absolutely no behavior change and potentially lots of diarrhea. Do your research and find a facility that is properly staffed and not promising you the world in only three weeks time.

He was not my dog originally and I was having a hard time managing him. It was so hard to leave him but, such a good decision. It made a huge difference in my relationship with him. I received daily pictures and a video of his training. He was responsive when I texted for updates. After three weeks, I picked him up. Brent showed me how to work with him. Home Away From Home…read more.... Love Dogs Camp has made a big difference with our dog, Pugsley, since we moved to the area 6 years ago. He was rescued from the streets of San Jose at the age of 1. Before moving to Nipomo, we researched and visited many places offering daycare and boarding, but Carolyn at Love Dogs Camp gave us the most confidence. It offers Pugsley a great environment with no kennels, freedom to roam on 5 acres and the ability to socialize with both big and small dogs. Carolyn has a wonderful trainer - Brett - who's very knowledgeable about dog behavior and nutrition and helped Pugsley become less fearful of other dogs. Supervision is a priority and he is never left alone. Carolyn does a great job vetting new dogs and their owners to ensure compatibility with her existing clientele. She also provides healthy home cooked meals for the dogs at least once a day. Whether it's for just a day or a couple of weeks for vacation, we have no concern bringing Pugsley to Love Dogs Camp. It's his home away from home.
