I stopped by here for some food not really knowing what to expect, as it was my first time! I came in pretty close to closing and ended up taking my order to go. I went with the Korean Beef Broccoli bowl, and it was DELICIOUS, really savory and flavorful (paired nicely with a sweet drink!) The lady who worked the counter was super sweet, and immediately stepped away from cleaning to assist me. She even complimented my name!! Great service, especially since it was pretty close to close. Am rating a 4 only even though i did not enjoy my Veggie Sandwich (@ $10). I didn't feel like it was fair to do a Yelp review on one item of their menu and their other food looked pretty good. I had the Veggie Sandwich @ $10 which I would not order again. Tasted fresh but super, duper plain. I had high hopes for this place based on the reviews, but it fell flat for me! The people were nice, the service was good, the food was okay but nothing made me say "WOW" like Post Malone. The ambiance was very minimalist, and the dining room was basically empty when we arrived. Again, the food looked better than it tasted. There was nothing objectively wrong with the food, it was just not great if that makes sense. The chicken on the chicken and waffles was crispy, hot, and fresh but the flavor just wasn't there. The breading was good but that is where the flavor stopped. The waffle was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and they even used real maple syrup! But again the flavor was just lacking for some reason. We ended up taking half of our food home with us which is NEVER a good sign. I might give this place another shot on a different day. Also, the coleslaw on the chicken sandwich had no flavor which made the sandwich even less impressive. Nothing to see here in my opinion. read more

My wife and I just had a late lunch at this restaurant today. We both had the chicken teriyaki bowl, but they ran out of pineapple salsa so we just put some soy sauce on it. The portion was large and the quality of food was pretty darn good. The price point was spot on because of the quality and quantity of the food. My wife also got a piece of the banana bread, but that was fairly pedestrian and a bit dry. The staff was friendly, but it was mostly self-serve after you ordered. This is a small cozy space where you order at the counter. The menus are on clipboards so we grabbed one and sat down to peruse. Lots of choices for vegetarians and meat eaters. The waitress came over and asked if we wanted coffee. They serve cold brew and drip. My daughter decided on the salmon and arugula sandwich. It was served on millet bread which she didn't particularly care for but everything else was great. I chose the bacon and egg toast. This is served on a piece of thick sourdough covered with an herb cheese. I asked for a hard egg and it was cooked perfectly. We loved the cozy feel and family photos decorating the walls. Vintage aprons lined the hallway. Some might call this place "hipster" but I think it was just sweet with innovative food choices. Parking is in a lot just up the hill but it was a very easy walk.
