The ladies were thorough and efficient. We regularly use this service in our three bedroom home that has two adults, one child, and three cats and they leave the home tidy and refreshed. Also- This is NOT a criticism as accidents happen but the handling deserves praise: several months ago with a different team, a cable in my husbands office was accidentally damaged during cleaning and the service was quick in their response remedy the error and it was handled professionally and quickly. Again, accidents happen, but the response was so professional and appreciated and we have never had an issue since. Would absolutely recommend! Especially if you have pets or kids :)

I requested they return to finish that section. In the dining room, after they left I noticed that the chandelier hadn't been touched. There was a plumber in that morning that went over time, so I don't fault them at having a delay but they asked for another half hour to finish the kitchen. Many things were cleaned but the floors where they dipped under the cabinets for a few inches looked untouched. The lead said she sprayed degreaser but didn't have time to clean the area - they left 10 minutes earlier than what I paid for. I would prefer they finished the job. The bathroom windows weren't cleaned even though that was a request. I feel like the job should have been quoted instead of an hourly. The team seemed to want to get out of there in lieu of finishing the job properly. When I complained they told me they sent a team of 3 instead of two that was quoted and that had I gotten 2 or would have taken a longer time so I should be happy. The 3 rd person was clearly a trainee or newer as she didn't have initiative and had to keep asking what to do and just standing around waiting for an order. Lastly, I speak some Spanish but there was no English and there was a lot of photo taking and laughter that felt like they were judging the state of my parents home. I had cleaned and organized for a month before hiring them so felt it was in better shape but needed a DEEP cleaning - that to me means getting under the cabinets in the kitchen floor.

Everything proceeded normally until I disclosed a fragrance-related accommodation need and offered to provide all cleaning products myself. After that, the job was repeatedly described as a "special need cleaning," concerns were raised about whether the cleaners would accept it, and I was told I might be better served by another company. I was asked to confirm the appointment by providing my address and cleaning information, which I did. Later, after the cleaner agreed to take the job, the appointment was given away because I did not respond quickly enough to an additional confirmation request that I had never been told to expect. When I objected to the way the situation had been handled, I was told that the company would not be cleaning my apartment. What concerns me is that the entire interaction changed after I disclosed a disability-related accommodation need. Before that disclosure, I was treated like any other customer. After that disclosure, additional barriers appeared, the job became a problem, and the service was ultimately denied. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone who may need accommodations, nor to anyone who believes that people with physical differences should be treated with the same respect and access to services as everyone else.

The short of it is they're a top notch, quality service. The longer of it: The cleaning itself is excellent. David's staff is really thorough. We have a decently sized two bedroom apartment and honestly no corner is left untouched. I don't own a pair of white gloves but if I did, no doubt their dusting prowess would pass the test with flying colors. Because of my schedule I haven't met any of the cleaners personally, however my wife has said they're really friendly. We recently used Thorough's concierge service, specifically pet care and they were just as good as the cleaning. Our cat is special needs and not only requires heart medicine every day but also an inhaler - not an easy task. David handled it all with no problem, even driving probably a good 30-40 minutes in inclement weather to take care of him. Which leads me to just the general service and attitude of David. I can't say enough. From the start he was really accommodating. We had a sickness in the family and at the drop of a hat, we could rely on him for basically whatever we needed and he was always happy to meet up for key exchanges, etc. Just generally a really nice guy and that certainly shows in every aspect of the business.
