I have neglected to leave a review for this shop! I was on my way to Woodmont Grill earlier this year and needed to pick up bunditinis. I had ordered from the Glendale location by mistake. Literally 45 mins the opposite end of Maryland. Traffic would have me late and the store was closing. When I called the store to tell them I would be late, they were super nice and said they would wait. I got to the door a few minutes after closing and I knocked on the door. A gentleman came to the door and I told him I was picking up my order. He said one moment, went inside and came back and said he had no order for me. When I looked at my phone I realized I ordered at the wrong location. In desperation I asked if I could just buy what he had left, he went inside boxed up my order. Talk about a good ending to this mishap. Off to dinner I went, in hand with Nothing Bundt Cakes! What an Angel! He saved my whole night! Thank you to this kind soul! This is always my go-to for all things bday! This location has a mobile pick up option, drive to the right of the building and they'll bring your order to you. I 100% AGREE w/ all other reviewers about Nothing Bundt Cakes customer service is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! It's EASTER Sunday & my Son has been raving about how great the Red Velvet is, so I wanted to put a smile on his face & check out the store. As soon as we walked in, no one was at the register. Eventually an employee walked out and just looked at us. Did NOT greet us at all, nor did she offer to help or make any time of welcoming intro. I proceed to spark up conversation in hopes to lighten up the mood. I asked her what her favorite was since this was my first time there & she looked blankly at me & replied monotonous that she didn't have a favorite. No suggestions, no input. Thank God a customer walked in & I turned to her & said~ it's my 1st time~ what's your favorite. Customer's energy was so happy & welcoming, stating Red Velvet is really good, Chocolate Chip is popular, and Lemon is fun. Stopped in for the Bogo sale they had and this is such a pleasant store with pleasant employees! I've been getting cakes from them ever since I discovered them a few years ago. This was my first time visiting this location and as always I received great service. I ordered my cakes online and picked them up with ease. The employees even let me know about the new churro bundts that came out this week and I can't wait to try one! I'll definitely be back because these cakes are amazing and they offer tons of flavors. If I could leave 0 star I will do so. This store is horrible. I called the store and told them that I couldn't apply the BOGO code online, Matt told me to go to the store directly. I explained to him that I just wanted to double confirm that I can do it in the store as it take me time to be there. He put me on hold TWICE to confirm with his manager whose name is Noeline, and told me I could go. I then drove 30 min to the store with my two kids, but he told me he couldnt do it online. I then requested to talk to the manager, but he said she was not available now. I told him to let the manager call me back but unfortunately she didn't. I then called back and the manager picked up the phone. I explained the whole background but she didn't have any compassion. She said she would call me back but again she didn't. I tried to call back and again and Matt said Noeline was not available to talk again, even though she knew I wanted her to give me the HQ contact info to file a complaint. This customer service is HORRIBLE!!! In contract, I then went to the Rockville franchise, and they redeemed the code without any issue. Please avoid this store. If the manager doesn't know to put herself in customer's shoes and how to provide good customer service, how you can expect employees know??? I just wanted to clarify I'm not meant to blame Matt, since he just works there, and he did t nothing wrong as he confirmed twice with his manager. But his manager Noeline is the own person who caused all those troubles. I do t know how this store can get 4.6 here, If you go to google reviews, you will see many 1star reviews. We picked up a variety of four different mini Bundt cakes, and the whole process could not have been easier. They always have such a wonderful selection, but what really stood out this time was the exceptional customer service. Matthew, the young man who helped us, was absolutely fantastic--friendly, attentive, and so helpful in making sure we picked the right flavors. He made the experience feel warm and welcoming, which is exactly what great customer service should be. The cakes themselves were, of course, a huge hit. They're adorable, perfectly portioned, and absolutely delicious--like a party in a little package. They disappeared quickly, and everyone at dinner loved them. One hiccup was that I ordered it with light icing and they didn't get it right, they put a boat load of icing on the cake. When, you order the cake over the phone, you must pay for it at the time you order it. There are no changes allowed after they take the order. I ordered my cake the day before and unfortunately, we were going out of town, so there was no way they could fix the icing problem. The people who work their are super nice and the store is cute, clean, and decorated for the holiday. This is our second birthday Bundt cake and they decorate it, so it looks beautiful. So pre-Covid I had the chance to try these in Houston when a colleague brought them to the office when I was on travel - and they were delightful. I was very excited that this location opened up and ordered 3 individual ones: chocolate chocolate chip, confetti and lemon. These were even better than I remembered! They were not too sweet at all, and the frosting offered just the right balance. I admit I have a big sweet tooth, but my husband does not and he was totally won over - even by the chocolate one and he is not a big chocolate person. We will definitely get bigger cakes for celebrations and holidays. I also love that they have a gluten free version. I thought it is important to write because employee's need to understand what customer service is about. Since this location has been open for the past two and one-half years, we have purchased bundt cakes from them on numerous occasions for various celebrations. So we were excited when they ran a promotion last December on their anniversary, offering a free mini Bundt cake for a year for the first 100 customers that stood in line when the store opened one Saturday morning. My wife, daughter and I were one of the lucky once to receive the promotional punch cards. Today, I went by the store to get the three mini bundts cakes as part of the promotion and also purchase some extra one's for our son. However, when I presented the three punch cards for the mini bundts cakes , I was told by the employee that i could only get one for free but would have to pay for the other two since my wife and daughter weren't present. When I expressed to him that this was inconvenient because we are busy people and my wife was taking our daughter to a swim practice at this time, his response was that that was too bad. I would have to pay for the other two bundts cakes that were part of their promotion if I wanted them and I don't need to partake in the promotion. Talk about lack of customer service!!!
