This was fun! So many cute Bundt cakes are available for purchase! The outside of the store was welcoming. Once I walked into the store, I was immediately greeted. The staff person at the register was ready to answer my questions. Another staff member was assisting another customer who ordered a cake. Was excited to see that there was a gluten free option too. Liked how the cakes were displayed in the case. So many good flavors to choose from. I purchased 6 of the prepackaged cakes. Chose flavors I thought my family would like. The staff member at the register thanked me for my order and offered me a punch card, which offers a great deal. After visiting here, you will want to sign up for their email list. Both staff members were outgoing, friendly and helpful. We tried the flavors I purchased once I arrived home. Yummy! Moist and delicious. We thought the icing to cake was balanced well.

We added our own flare but the cake is always amazing

The people are incredibly friendly, not only the workers but everyone who was there which shows the audience this cafe attracts. It was awesome to see the wide arrangement of drink options from hot to cold to energy infused drinks with Red Bull. They also had a TON of house baked goods. Scones, muffins, cinnamon rolls, strudels and more. They even have lots of various breads to choose from and cakes! They have inside and outside seating which is charming and simple. The food is great and the drinks are high quality and refreshing. The cinnamon rolls warmed up in the microwave were probably some of the best I've ever eaten. The cream cheese frosting is to die for as well as the strawberry rhubarb filling (I need a jar of it). Muffins are SO MOIST and great texture/flavors. I also really liked that by the cash register they had some pre wrapped baked goods that were slightly discounted meaning they were probably leftovers from the previous day or what not so I like that they do not waste! Overall, if you are in the area or a short drive away please stop in and you won't regret it!

I got in there about 30 minutes before closing so they were pretty cleared out of stuff and they mentioned how they stop serving lunch/sandwhiches 30 minutes before closing so just a heads up on that. The service was great and the two ladies behind the counter were friendly and helpful. It appeared that some of their refrigerated items may be bought for sale and not baked in house but all their baked goods in that case were made by them and had a large selection of baked goods from breads, biscotti, bars, tarts, cakes, and more. it also looks like they offer made to order/custom cakes so that is pretty cool! Although not pictured, we tried several macarons and they had a subtle flavor, nothing overpowering which was nice. We also tried their mini tarts in lemon and cherry, as well as their apple crumble in phyllo dough. This was interesting and I have never seen it wrapped in phyllo dough. We also tried the carrot cake which after unpacking it, I do not believe it was made in house as it was part of the other refrigerated goods. Everything was light and pretty tasty. I would give this place a try if you are in the area as it has a lot of charm and variety of goods so I am sure you can find something you will enjoy!

Parking was easy, and the door was wide open when I arrived around 9:00 a.m. The line wasn't too long, which was impressive given the timing. As I waited, I noticed one of the many signs stating cash or check only--uh oh. I rummaged through my purse and managed to come up with $8.00. Whew! Just enough for what I was hoping for: a loaf of sourdough. I love sourdough. Mine was a complete failure back when everyone else mastered it during the COVID era. Since my husband is gluten-free, bread has mostly disappeared from our home, and when I do buy it, I usually choose small half-loaves for the freezer. But with Christmas here, I decided to treat myself to a full, good-tasting loaf--and I found exactly that. The sourdough loaf was $7.00, and they offered to slice it at no extra charge. I was also offered samples (which I happily accepted). I tried the Parmesan-crusted onion bread and immediately understood the hype. The crust was chewy, the cheese flavorful, and there was a subtle onion finish--perfect for snacking on the way home without dipping into my new loaf. Once home, I tried the sourdough. The end piece is always my favorite test bite, and it did not disappoint. The shop itself is cozy but efficient, easy to get in and out of, and conveniently located near Route 18. The aroma of fresh bread was divine, and the staff was fun, friendly, and incredibly helpful--even with the steady flow of customers picking up holiday goodies. I also learned they accept Venmo and Zelle, which is great to know for next time. They even offered me a calendar of their daily bread specials, and I noticed that sourdough is one of their regular daily offerings--very good to know. I'm really looking forward to going back.

I feel like there is something for everyone here! My husband thought the Dutch apple pie was out of this world. I thought it was different because it was chopped oats. We were not a huge fan of the chocolate chip cookies, the texture kinda got me, and the chocolate chips were an interesting flavor. My mom thought the pecan tarts were so yummy. I could literally taste how fresh and homemade that dough was, I thought it was very good as well, but probably would try something else instead next time. The cinnamon roll was interesting because I thought it was a lot more Joey than we used to and it had an icing on top. I actually really liked it. I am not someone that likes the super glazed sweet stuff so this was the right amount for me. My husband and I were not huge fans of the Fry pies. They were glazed, which is a personal preference. But the filling was just too much for me, I like more writing than filling, especially in the middle. It was a little overwhelming. I also felt like they were filled with more of the canned stuff rather than fresh bc of the consistency. The fresh sourdough bread was out of this world. I'd definitely recommend getting a bread loaf!!!

The single employee there was quite rude to me, and seemed very annoyed that I was there. I placed my order, and got very short answers from the employee. Again, it seemed as if this employee was annoyed I was even there. I didn't see the employee was his hands. He didn't wear gloves or use tongs/tissue paper to pick out my items- just bare hands. When it was time to pay, I inserted my card into the machine. The machine must've been acting up, as the transaction was taking a bit longer than normal. The employee said "I CANNOT LET YOU LEAVE UNTIL THE MERCHANT RECEIPT PRINTS." Ok, I understand the importance of receipts. However, those choice of words were a big issue to me. "I cannot let you leave" can be very triggering to some people. Like holding someone hostage... Not great customer service. Once the receipt printed, I asked the employee if the store had any bags (to help carry my two boxes.) The employee quickly said nope, turned around and walked away (maybe into the kitchen) out of my sight. He didn't say thank you or bye or anything. The whole reason I was asking for a bag was bc I had to carry both boxes as well as my daughter in her car seat out the door. It was hard to juggle it and keep the store door open. It would've been nice had the employee offered help- but he quickly disappeared before I could even ask for help. Again, poor customer service. The only reason I even gave it 1 star was for the brownies I purchased. The brownies are really good- although I'm not even sure they make them. Needless to say, I won't be going back. I felt very unwelcome and almost unsafe with the very few words that were actually spoken to me.
