That moment when you find out a chain you love comes to your town finally!! I discovered earlier this week that Nothing Bundt Cakes finally got a Lakeland location, and my whole week was made! I love these bakeries and was so sad to not have one super close by, because back home in the MidWest they are really all over. These guys did not disappoint! Those dense cakes with the funny frosting pattern are my absolute weakness. They have such a good variety of flavors to choose from like marble, red velvet, carrot, lemon, chocolate chip, even a snickerdoodle when i went, and etc, as well as gluten free options. We placed an online cake order for a Christmas Eve pickup. We ordered a white chocolate raspberry 10" cake with lite frosting. When we went to service the cake, imagine our surprise when it was a peppermint cake with full frosting. Our receipt shows the correct cake AND A $1.44 ONLINE SERVICE FEE. While the amount is incidental, the fact that they charged an online service fee is absolutely ridiculous!! I called this business on 12/26/24 to discuss the fact that they gave us the wrong cake. While the woman who answered the phone was polite - I had to give her our order number appx. 8 times and she still could not find it. She advised that the Manager or Asst Manager would call me back soon. Almost a week later and I still have not received a call. Terrible customer service! This place is definitely not what it used to be! I will not be returning. read more

Great little sweet treat when you need a little something to cure that sweet tooth! Generous size depending on how hungry you are you may finish in 1 sitting but if you are not as hungry can save for the next day. The cakes are kept cold in a cooler so I always let mine set out at room temperature for a bit so the cake is not as cold. This Nothing Bundt Cakes is in the perfect location and easy to access with ample parking. I love the ambience it's always cute, nice and clean. They even have extra items that you may have forgotten to pick up that pairs with the cake to make your day extra special. Customer service is always good. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and diverse. The only reason I didn't give this visit a 5 is because one of my Bundt cakes was smashed/damaged. I'm glad I wasn't giving it to someone for the first time it might have deter someone from trying Nothing Bundt Cakes if they would have received a cake that was damaged like this. I hope that each Bundt cake is inspected and if any cakes are damaged or smashed that they wouldn't be sold. Presentation is everything!!! read more

Could improve with customer service when cake orders are placed by giving a courtesy phone call when orders haven't been retrieved by a certain time. I ordered a birthday cake from here and forget about the cake order due to getting sick and no one called as a friendly reminder. read more

So you would think management would plan ahead for a holiday. I have never walked into A Nothing Bundt Cake store and had to wait 30 minutes for a cake. I started with my favorite flavor and then when down the list and was told it was a least a 30 minute wait. Mint Chocolate was a new flavor and completely sold out. Need new management that has a better grip on stocking up inventory for holidays. I will shop at a different location in the future since this location is lacking in the customer service department. read more

Very flavorful cakes in many flavors with changing specials. They make elegant gifts. I enjoy the smaller sizes, the bundtlet and the babies. So moist they're like tres leches cakes. If I were to improve upon them, I'd make them less sweet and less frosting-tho a great frosting, it's just too much. My current favorite is lemon raspberry. Carrot is more of a spice cake. Every time we have this we are completely satisfied. The people who work here are always friendly and smiling. It's always clean and welcoming. The most important thing is the bundt cakes are delicious. While I like all the flavors, the lemon is my favorite. Happened to stumble on this little gem while eating lunch in the area. Service was fast and there was a variety of little cakes to choose from. Adorably packaged with a perfect serving size, we got lemon, carrot and party cake. Took us a week to enjoy them all but they were fresh, moist and the perfect amount of frosting on each one. Everything about NBC is 5 star, except for 4.5 star cakes. Imagine a shopping experience which so defies expectations that when the pastries don't also completely crush it - that's the disappointment. Great problem to have. I recommend the red velvet.
