Thats when the owner told me she had pastries that just came out of the oven. She had 3 options that were baked fresh, but my ears turned off after hearing guava and cheese (its my favorite). The pastries were sold at a good price of $3 for one or 2 for $5. So I decided on one of the alfajores as well. Alfajores can be a hit or miss for me, but I loved this one. The cookie had a complex and buttery flavor as well as a proper shortbread texture. There was a rose like essence that balanced the flavors. She's very talented. She offers espresso, cappuccinos, and americano coffee drinks for now. She plans to expand the coffee menu in the future, so I look forward to seeing her business grow. I ordered a cappuccino, and she had regular milk as well as plant based/vegan milk options. Everything I had was delicious and comforting. This is an excellent latin cafe and a necessary business in Winter Haven, I look forward to coming back.
