While I was in line another customer came up and complained about how long she had been waiting. The teenage girls behind the counter just cluelessly looked at each other. It turned out her order was already done, just no one bothered to tell her. The girl that attempted to help me at the register was really rude. She seemed to rush me, but at the same time she couldn't understand what I was trying to order. After clarifying and repeating my order, she tossed one of the cakes in a bag and kind of threw the bag across the counter and said something along the lines of "You can just take it now or get it later with the rest of your cakes." I understand that these girls are young and might be a little immature, but they need to learn some customer service skills and act in a professional manner while they are at work. read more

We visited this store and bought a cake. I asked for a fork and they said they don't have them for individual cakes. How are we supposed to eat a cake out of the container without a fork or spoon? The raspberry cake was pretty good, but I wouldn't have chosen it if they had offered samples. Blamed the samples on COVID. Overall, I probably would not recommend it to anyone. Given that it was almost Thanksgiving, the employees were all hands on deck in this place. I think everyone working that day came up to greet us as soon as we walked in. Ahh! I kid. They were nice and gave me the run-down on cake prices and flavors. My mom browsed the gifts and decor items on display. This place is prepared with party favors, supplies and other gift items. Mom and I decided to go with two mini's because the regular sizes were too much for us. We ordered the white chocolate raspberry, which we sampled earlier, and the pumpkin spice. The white chocolate was quite good but very much on the sweet side. If you didn't have your coffee for the day and need a sugar kick in the ass, this would do it. The pumpkin was my favorite and the cream cheese frosting wasn't overpowering like it can be. It could be worthwhile to stop in once in awhile if you need to a treat or treat someone else. This is one of my guilty pleasures in Shreveport. I love the gluten free bundt cakes here. The only reason I'm giving this a 3/5 is because they only carry one gluten free flavor: chocolate chip. Also, the cake i had was good, but nothing special. On top of that, frosting and cake was a bit too sweet. Lastly, one small single serve gluten free bundt cake costs about $5 with tax. I had to explain things very slowly to her which I wouldn't have minded if she didn't have such a bad attitude. I ordered a dozen bundtinis. I told her give me one of each flavor (they had 10) and give me another carrot and red velvet. She said "what do you mean another?". I explained to her that I wanted one of each flavor which they have 10 different flavors and that leaves me with 2 cakes so give me another carrot cake and a red velvet one. That makes 12 aka a dozen...I had to read my card number and info to her and she messed that up too even though I said the numbers extra slow for her.
