DO NOT send your loved ones here!! This place is horrible. My 84 year old mother was sent here from…read moreLandsdowne hospital and stayed for about 2 weeks. While she did make some improvements in her mobility she was not able to transfer out of her bed or wheelchair without assistance. She also wasnt able to walk independently with a walker during her last PT session yet they still seemed to think 8 hours of in home care upon returning home would be adequate. They sent us with a wheel chair that she cant even use because due to her arthritis she cant bend her knee enough to use the foot rests!!! They didnt give me a list of equipment I needed to get (aside from wheelchair, walker, and bedside camode) when her in home caregiver arrived this morning (her first morning at home) she asked about a lift belt and she was shocked they didnt send her with one. My mother ended up back in the ER after a sleepless night for both of us with her in so much pain. Encompass refused to take her back and her physician there blatantly LIED to her ER Dr about her abilities prior to discharge. The DR in the ER absolutely didnt belive them as she has eyes on her now and can see how in pain she still is. What they have done is criminal and I am FOURIOUS that they would out right lie to cover their asses. Believe all the one star reviews and try somewhere else, the hospital is now working on getting her transferred somewhere else with, hopefully, competent staff. STAY AWAY is my only advice here.

Transported her to the facility and less than 12 hours sent her back to the hospital they picked her up from without consulting me her POA. I would never ever recommend this facility to my worst enemy.

My mother has been at Tribute for about 7 years and the first two years were great and even their…read morehandling of Covid, although expectedly rocky, overall they did a good job, but the past three years everything seemed to change all in a downhill direction. They rarely return calls, particularly the nurses who almost never return calls. They actually moved my mother to another wing and did not ask permission which is required since as I've had Power of Attorney since my mother moved into Tribute and they were provided a letter of incapacitation prior to move in as well, although apparently none of the staff I spoke with were made aware. A staff person helped my mother get a new credit card sent to Tribute and the bill as well TWICE and Twice the credit card and statements could not be found and twice I had to cancel those credit cards and as a result my mother could not keep a credit card at Tribute. I'm the one that who pays my mother's bill using that credit card, but because of this staff member who manipulated my mother, the credit card was tied up for months. This all resulted in hours upon hours of time talking to the credit card company and trying to reach somebody at Tribute. The result was that this staff person was asked not to do this anymore. (?????) Given that many of the people residing at Tribute have memory problems, any changes need to be told to the residents multiple times and if it's a financial matter, than the people paying paying the bills also need to be told. The residents were told in a group setting ONCE, that if they are not on time to meals, their food would be sent to their rooms and they would be charged $10.00. My mother had no idea about this and thought meals were now being served in their rooms. They could have made a call to those who are late and say, hey, if you aren't at breakfast in 5 minutes you'll be charged a fee??? I thought this was ASSITED living. They also used to have a more relaxed system that allowed residents to get their meals anytime without a 90 minute period. Initially they were arranging for cars to take residents to back home from the hospital, but now I get frantic calls saying that my mother needs to go home and the won't allow them to take an Uber, so either you pick them up now or pay $150 for a ride home. So this "Assistance" was removed and suddenly we received an onslaught of forms to get flu, Covid and Pneumonia vaccines. The information required is mostly medical details that the doctor who attends patients at Tribute should know and we would not. At $9,000 a month, one would expect a lot more ASSISTED Living.

I'm sitting here in the lobby waiting for a meeting that should have started 22 minutes ago. There is no leadership, no one in charge. They admitted my mom in one level of care and a month later increased the level of care (and cost) despite there being no change in her condition. It's a difficult decision when placing your parent into assisted living. Don't be fooled by the sales folks you initially meet with. All they want is your money. We literally have tried to voice our concerns in person and I am still waiting on this meeting to start. Maybe a bad review on yelp will result in administration following up with us.
