I love my vacuum cleaner!!!!! I got it 2 years ago from the kid's dad for Christmas. It's a Shark Rocket. Nova Vacuums called it a stick model. The motor is on the top of the "stick" along with the dust collection canister. This vacuum was terrific and I probably vacuumed 2 to 3x a week sometimes. . Then we got two cats from the SPCA. I was still diligent to empty the canister when it was full and clean the rotating brush from tangled hair. It was great for another year then the red light came on. I took it apart and cleaned it thoroughly. Red light stayed on. I finally Yelped for vacuum cleaner repair shops and can you believe there's one barely a mile from my house! It's right next to the Sheetz and directly in front of Giant! It's a really big building. I had no idea. I stopped in to visit Nova Vacuum on Friday. Spoke a couple guys in there. They were really nice. They said they'd call me Monday. However about 90 min later, while I was at Sue's Laundromat prepping for winter, I received a call that they know what the issue is. Cost prob $120. We'll call you Monday. Finally the next Friday I called them back and asked if it was ready. They said yes. Maybe I misunderstood about Monday. Maybe it was ready Monday. But I walked in, I turned it in and tested on their carpet. Seemed to work. I paid like $118 bucks for a great cleaning and new rotating brush. I got home and vacuumed for almost 2 hours!! Stopping to dump canister and cut hair from rotating brush. My carpet looks great again!!!! And the guy at Nova Vacuums said my Shark Robot was one of the best vacuums in his professional opinion!! I am LIT over this outcome! .If you need yours fixed or even a "new to you", used vacuum, come to Nova Vacuums here in Warrenton. The place is no palace but the guy knows what he's doing!! read more

I'm sad to be leaving a bad review because I was really excited that this place had good ones on google. My girlfriend had dropped off our vacuum a few months ago to have a repair done and they put a little tag on the vacuum with her name and number and said they would call upon it being repaired. Time went by and nothing. She went by today to see what was the status was and come to find out they had sold it. That's it, nothing can be done. They said they called and no one answered and she asked to confirm the number they had but they had thrown it away along with the tag from the unit. Beware when dropping your stuff off. read more

I was extremely satisfied with the service I received at Nova Vacuums. The owner tracked down an out-of-production motor for my Eureka machine and got the repairs done very promptly and at what I consider a very reasonable price. Initial review: The staff (Steve) and owner (Lou) seem very well informed about what they sell. I was given a lengthy display of the qualities of their merchandise. I was impressed. I did not buy a vacuum but believe that they sell a good product. Addendum: In reading the reviews of others, I felt that I needed to add to my initial review. While I would not change the rating below a three, I find a five star remarkable if the owner was involved. He is pleasant as long as he thinks that you are buying and is rude and dismissive when you ask questions.about the product ie prices, warranty. It is for that reason that I went to another authorized Miele dealer (not his other store in Mannasss) to buy my machine. The worse service. Tried to sell me a new vacuum cleaner when it was clear that I was bringing my top-of-the-line Miele in to be serviced and, possibly, repaired. Stated that I would receive a phone call within 2-3 days but did not. When I called a week later, they had not performed any servicing to my vacuum cleaner. Took them four weeks to service and clean my vacuum cleaner. However, there remained evidence indicating there had been no servicing and no cleaning performed. Still not working after $$ spent at this establishment. Would suggest that you take your vacuum cleaner to a more reputable business such as Vacuum Zone in Burke, VA. read more

I have been using this service for many years, with happy results. Unfortunately, today, it all turned to crap. The previously pleasant owner (Lou) apparently has been having a very rough year. I had taken my vacuum in for repairs on Friday (two things wrong with it,) and was promised it would be ready to be picked up on Tuesday, and they would call me on Tuesday. They did NOT call me. On Thursday, I called, to ask if it was ready. It was not ready, but they promised it would be ready the next afternoon, explaining that they were having trouble finding parts. They tried to convince me to trade my vacuum in for a newer one, but I told them that I couldn't afford that, and that I had purchased THAT one, recently from them, and really just wanted to fix THAT one. So, they said it would be ready the next afternoon. I waited for a phone call, telling me it was ready, nothing. So, I called the day AFTER the day it was supposed to be ready, and asked them if it was ready to be picked up, and they told me that they needed another 45 minutes. So, I went in 90 minutes later to pick it up. Although I was pleasant, they were hostile. They had forgotten that I had told them that there were TWO things that needed to be repaired, and only fixed one. They insisted that I only told them of the ONE thing. They insisted that the second thing that was wrong did not show itself as a problem, and then they started jerking the vacuum around to demonstrate that it was not a problem. So, I said, OK, if it's working well for you, I'll just pay for the one thing that you fixed, and if it acts up again, I'll let you know. Then Lou started yelling at me, telling me that I was the worst customer he has ever had, and to just pay him for the repair that he had done, and leave, and never come back again. He went on a very long tirade about how horrible I was to have called him "every ten minutes" (I had only called him three times) and that if I was in such a horrible need for a vacuum, I could have asked for a loaner (nobody every told me a loaner was available, and I never told him I was in a hurry, I was just checking to see if the vacuum was ready when they promised me it would be ready, so I could go get it!) I kept trying to de-escalate the situation, but, he just got more and more worked up. I paid the tab, (close to $60) he threw the receipt at me, and I left. Upon coming home, the vacuum's second problem showed itself immediately. So, I guess I am buying a new vacuum, after all. But, I do NOT recommend this place. I used to recommend it all of the time, to anyone who said that they needed a vacuum, or a steam cleaner, or repairs..... but, not anymore. Very sad that this happened, but the amount of rudeness that was shown to me was totally uncalled for, and nobody should have to tolerate that type of rudeness. read more

I just had my ten year old Kirby vacuum cleaner serviced by Charles at this location. He had it back to me within 24 hrs! I was amazed with the turnaround time and attention to detail. Tried to give them a chance but after two very bad experiences, the first where they sold what seems to be a flimsy product, and the second where I went in to find an attachment and the owner tried to sell me a vacuum I didn't need or want instead, and then seemed to get mad that I wasn't buying his sales tactics and had the gall in this day and age of Amazon and the internet to say sir I'm going to tell you again, we don't have the attachment you need, I left, never to return again. Went into buy a vacuum for my daughter and was unsure what type and brand would suit her needs. NOVA vacuums carries a large selection of vacuums so we knew that what we needed was there somewhere. The owner greeted us with a number of questions and considerations pertaining to how to choose the right vacuum. He spent a good deal of time outlining the pros and cons of what he considered our choices. Armed with the information and direction that Saif shared with us, we ended up purchasing the product best suited to my daughter's needs. She has had her vacuum for about a year and could not be happier with it. Saif's knowledge of his product and interest in marrying up the customer with the best alternative paid off.
