Scheduled a cleaning and evaluation using their new patient special. I got one of the most complete cleanings ever, and they did perhaps the most thorough dental assessment I've ever had - I think that they did something like18 x-rays total (which was a little concerning), but I was very confident in the end that they had really taken a look at my dental situation. Dr. Pope then went over all of the findings and showed me both x-rays and pictures of cavities, etc. before putting together a treatment plan. Dr. and staff were all friendly and professional. I was never a fan of going to the dentist but my views have changed since I was recommended to Dr. Novelly by my girlfriend. The receptionists are super welcoming and the office is clean. Lygia was an amazing hygienist but she has since retired. Katie D. is my new hygienist and she is also amazing. Talking sports always makes the cleanings go by quickly. Dr. Novelly is a nice guy and doesn't pressure you into unnecessary procedures. Definitely worth making the trip down to his office next time you need a dentist. read more

9/28/23 Update---Dr. Brady Pope, Nashica, Rayden & Amber come to the rescue again. This time the AWESOME, caring, friendly and professional office staff of Novelly Family Dentistry saved me from pain and possibly not eating much for days when I was surprised with a broken crown while just gently chewing on some Clif Bloks again, no more Clif Bloks chewing...lol, while working out. It was 14 years old and replaced with a new high tech "Zirconia" crown. Oh, feeling lucky!!!. They were able to get me in the office for a highly successful appointment at a very reasonable price. Novelly Family Dentistry is now my new dentist of choice in Arizona, I cannot say enough about their staff, beautiful office, and fantastic location in Chandler. read more

I really never write reviews but I was compelled for this office. This was the best dentist office I have been to in years. We have moved around a lot so my husband and I have seen many dentists. The last one I went to for a simple cleaning without any of my own concerns managed to write to up a procedure plan for 5000 dollars all for things that "may" be in issue in 60 years. But at Novelly the hygienist Ariel (I hope I have this right) was thorough but gentle. The dentist was personable and a family man. I just didn't feel like a cash cow for the first time at a dentist office in a long time. I will be moving my husband over to this office as well as my son when he has teeth :) read more

I just had a infected cracked tooth extracted and I never felt any pain. Dr. Brady made sure I was comfortable and not feeling any pain as the procerdure went on. Being it was a front tooth Dr. Brady made me a retainer with a false tooth so that I could smile without being subconscious about the missing tooth. The retainer works just fine and you cannot tell there is or was a tooth missing. I am now waiting for the area to heal so that Dr./ Brady can make me a bridge. I have no idea what some of the reviewers are upset about because my wife and I are very happy with Dr. Brady and his staff. You just cannot please some of the people no matter what you do. If I could give a higher rating to Dr. Brady and his staff, I would. I had braces at a young age and after getting my wisdom teeth taken out, I started to get gaps between my front teeth again. I also grind my teeth at night so my two front teeth were chipped. After being told by other dentists that the only solution would be veneers, Dr. Brady took care of my issues with cosmetic bonding. The cost was so much cheaper than veneers and the quality is outstanding. I was in shock at the reveal, because I wasn't expected the outcome to look so good. Needless to say, I love the way my teeth look and have gotten countless compliments. Thank you Dr. Brady! read more

I have gone to Novelly Dentistry my whole life and I LOVED Dr. Novelly. I could not have asked for a better dentist that was kind and always remembered and took care of everyone. Truly one of a kind and I was heartbroken when he retired. Dr. Novelly is a five star dentist but his predecessor Dr. Pop is a one star to me. I am 23 and he completely made me feel doomed about my teeth (grinding issue) and offered no comfort. I felt like I was feared into getting a 200$ mouth guard. After that experience I immediately started looking into other dentist and I found another dentist in Tempe that put my mind at ease, told me everything he could do for me with no pressure and he just cared and wanted me to love my smile. Extremely upset and frustrated. I paid for my service in full right after my appointment was finished last year. Now, they are billing me additional charges without calling, emailing or any providing information as to WHY. No idea why they are charging me so much more $ if I paid exactly what they told me to pay upfront, all of a sudden almost a year later I'm getting surprising bills. read more

I love Dr. Novelly and Lygia, my dental hygienist! I first went to Dr. Novelly over 15 years ago. My consistently perfect experiences at Novelly Dentistry is the reason my husband, adult daughter and parents all are his loyal patients now. And they all see Lygia, too! Dr. Novelly is genuinely kind-hearted, patient, gentle, humble, funny and really good at what he does. I trust him and can relax. (I used to be a person who would start shaking in a dentist chair). By the way, his crowns are excellent! Some dentists aren't good at crowns, but his fit like a glove. Also he won't use amalgams with mercury. He stopped using those ages ago. Dr. Novelly is a stand-up guy. My whole family is pleased to know him and grateful that he is our dentist. read more

So I live 3000 miles away from my elderly mother, unfortunately. She is a patient of this office. I knew she was slipping a little mentally. She had a recent appointment that did not go well if it wasn't for the staff. They called me to let me know that my Mother was not doing well. Based on their story as well as other factors, I flew out to be with her and to check on her well being. Their assessment was correct and my fears we realized. However, if it had not been for the staff, especially Eliza and Mom's dentist, the situation could have been worse. Anyone else would not have helped her nor have taken the time to call me up to tell me what was happening. EVERYONE of the staff members in this office are professional, compassionate and most of all KIND and CARING human beings. This is not some sort of canned b.s. This really happened and I would LOVE, LOVE to be a patient of this office. I HIGHLY recommend this practice to anyone who is thinking about going to the dentist. I am so thankful to them and overwhelmed to see there are still some very good and nice people in this world that know how to take care of people. Since his retirement the new staff is far below the excellent service provided by Dr. Novelly's Staff. I wanted to talk to Dr. Brady Pope about the issues I experienced. After calling twice, writing an email and then writing an old fashioned letter, I never received any response from him. So I paid their bill and put it behind me. We found a much better dentist in Chandler with friendly and informative staff and moved the family over to that office. After a period of unemployment, I had neglected to maintain my dental care with Dr. Novelly. I have since found employment and regained dental insurance with BCBSAZ (or so I thought!). I had held off seeking dental care for a painful molar long enough, and called to make an appointment to be seen the next day. I checked in, with a friendly staff there to greet me. I was soon placed in an examination room while the office manager verified my insurance coverage. Meanwhile, the dental tech (I wish I remembered her name!) took an x-ray of the affected area before my insurance was verified. While waiting for Dr. Novelly, the office manager came into the room and told me my BCBS dental insurance had been discontinued by my employer. I told her I would leave while I got the insurance situation straightened out, but she insisted that I stay. Shortly after, Dr. Novelly came into my room and gave me a THOROUGH and FRIENDLY consultation about what was going on with my teeth! As I was leaving, I asked the office manager what I owed for the consultation, and she told me not to worry about it!!! Unbelievable!
