This is a business I never wanted to go to because it means I had a rock chip but these folks got it done pretty efficiently. I arrived early for my appointment and their technician got me checked in right away. They did not seem super busy so he swiftly started on my vehicle and it was done in around half an hour. The workmanship was great but the customer service was somewhat less. While it's a fact that they do this all the time, I almost never need auto glass work yet they seemed to expect me to have expert level knowledge of my car's glass and my auto insurance policy. The scheduler Teri was fairly terse in her interactions with me. I felt validated in my assessment when I overheard her on the phone with another customer (it's a very small office). After calling around to several glass shops I came upon NOVUS in my search. And I'm SO happy I did! With two size-able cracks and a rock chip across my windshield (from rocks ricocheting from semi truck tires on the freeway), it wasn't safe to drive having the windshield like that. I found Novus Glass to be friendly, speedy, and affordable. My car had a crack in the windshield that was rapidly getting longer, so we took it in for an estimate. Matt was friendly and the estimate was affordable, so we went ahead and had the work done. It was completed in the time frame we were initially given (I think two days) for the price we were quoted, and the work was good. Since I liked the results on the car, I asked Matt about my SUV. The windshield was not cracked, but the gasket had loosened considerably and the glass was not firmly seated in place. Once more, the replacement was for a decent price and took only one day this time. If you have any issue with the glass in your vehicle, I strongly recommend taking it to Novus and letting them take a look. Great service! They got me right into the shop on the spot and out in about 30 minutes. The technician even found a second chip in my windshield that my eyes didn't catch. They use protective service mats to protect your car's body while they're working on it, and give you rock chip stickers for temporary fixes for future needs. Took my motorhome in today to get a couple rock chips repaired on the windshield. Teri at the front counter was awesome and super nice. She took care of all our insurance paperwork too. While the windshield was getting repaired I enjoyed talking with her; thanks Teri for keeping me entertained while my windshield was getting worked on. After talking with Teri, I walked outside and spoke with Matt, who ended up being the owner, and learned quite a few tips and tricks from him on rock chips. He ended up finding four rock chips on my windshield and went ahead and repaired them. He said that one had already been repaired, but wasn't satisfied with the quality of the repair so he decided to go ahead and repair the repair. I really appreciated his honesty and time he put into my windshield. He showed me the difference between the first rock chip repair previously done and the rock chip repair he did. There was a Clear difference between the two chip repairs. Novus of Spokane Valley helped me from spreading those rock chips to the rest of my windshield and ultimately saved me from having to replace the windshield. Thanks Novus! read more
