I thought the staff were very responsive, patient, and understanding while answering my initial inquiries. They were prompt and I felt they did their due diligence when I asked for different windshield replacement quotes. Booking was a breeze. They had appointment availabilities two days after my initial call with them, which was really helpful as I wanted my service done sooner than later. They initially told me the service would take 4 hours max, but they called me 2.5 - 3 hours later after dropping my car off, saying that my car is ready for pick-up. It was quick, and I had my doubts, to be honest. But it's been weeks since my car was serviced and my windshield still works fine! I would recommend this shop. read more

Everyone was helpful and friendly. The replacement job was done quickly. My only complaint is that they called me 4 times to say my car was ready and I was at school, I wish they had just told me I could wait it would have saved me cab fare and made it easier for me. Excellent Company and Service!! I sent an email to Novus on the weekend and I received an early morning response from the Kits branch manager, Mark England the very next day (before their office opened). He was very helpful and his staff were so friendly and very responsive. They replaced my windshield promptly, ordered by glass and brought my Audi in at 8:30am. NOVUS Glass is the worst shop I have ever been. First, they will left your car on the side of a narrow high traffic street for you to pick up, not sure what happens overnight. Their shop size is super small, fit maximum 2-3 cars at a time. Second, they will give your key back, and tell you is good to go, no walk around, no showing of their work. And If you ask them to come out , they will say "you are ridiculers". So No customer service, really rude! Third, I came out and check their work, I lift a bit the side seal up and ask him if this looks okay, and he yelled at me and tell me he is not going to warranty this glass because I did that. The reason I have to try to figure out how to check their work, because he came out and just stand next to my car watching. I am not a glass specialist, but I need to see their quality, but they won't show you, may be afraid. Next, worst thing is I have confirmed with them, will this windshield from BMW, the front desk said yes. But today when I pick up my car, The technician said no , and I found there is no certificate BMW logo on there. Then they start to play trick and tell me this glass is cheaper but better quality, but I asked how do I know? No answers. Then they say, you have to pay more in order to get the glass with logo. Okay, I have never been given this option before they started the work. The windshield itself is so blurry at the head up display area, it is a big difference than before. I am sure they have used third party cheap and off-market windshield. The brand they use is Fuyao, you can search up online, it defiantly not the piece you want to put on a BMW. Last, on their paper work, it shows only the price, no description about what they have done. I will attach the invoice in the review. I do see a lot of luxury car posted on their website, but man if you have a nice car and you love your car, this is not the place to go. NOVICE GLASS, keep looking. Came in with a simple rock chip, quoted 30min repair. Returned after 1.5 hours to a completely cracked windshield, lots of finger pointing, no solutions, and being referred back to the fine print. My driver's side mirror glass was smashed and the mirror scratched about a year and a half ago while parked. I can only hope the presumable biker who did the damage and did not leave a note paid a hefty price physically. I eventually ordered a new piece of mirror glass from Carter Honda. When the part finally arrived, I thought they would install it for me at no charge for a two minute job. This was not the case. I took the part home and struggled with it for about half an hour. My girlfriend also did not have any luck, nor did my landlord. Exasperated I gave up for the day. I drove into Crown Glass on my day off and asked them if they wouldn't mind helping me. The employee and manager were very friendly and the manager snapped the part in place almost immediately. He didn't charge me for the service, and I'm very grateful to him for this. I would highly recommend Crown Glass, and though I hope I won't have cause to use their service again, if I happen to this store will be my first choice. read more

Not an insurance claim. I had my rear vent glass replaced, an out of pocket expense to me. I was quoted up to 1 and a half hours for labour. The job only took 45 minutes but was still charged the full 1.5 hrs labour. When I questioned this it was met with a shoulder shrug and told that was the book cost. It is kind of sad that I have been so jaded by lackluster customer service that when really good customer service comes along I am incredulous. In an effort to keep a custom self framing job from being exorbitantly expensive I found and purchased glass bigger than I needed from a craft shop because it was considerably cheaper than a smaller custom cut piece from a frame shop. I called Crown Glass asking if I could get them to make a couple of cuts on my purchased glass for me. The gentleman who I spoke to on the phone told me to come over any time and they would be happy to do it for me. When I arrived I was served by Joshua, who ended up being the fellow I spoke to on the phone. After writing down the measurements he took my glass pieces to the back to cut. A few minutes later he returned with my cut glass all neatly wrapped. He even asked if he could help me to the car with it. When I said that I could manage it myself and headed over to the cash register area to pay, Joshua told that there was not going to be any charge. In my gobsmacked state I asked if he was sure and he said "just think of us the next time you need some glass". I definitely will. read more

I lived across the street from this shop for a few years and never knew it was there...questioning what else I've been missing all these years........because my experience with Crown Glass was something definitely to be noticed. Some thug smashed my front passenger window out, didn't steal anything but a bag of sweaty gym wear, but glass everywhere and a very rainy weekend forecast. After phoning around on the Friday, everyone telling me Monday was the soonest it could be done. Well, I had a lot of driving around to do all weekend, so that wasn't going to work. Crown got me in Saturday morning, and had the car back to me by 1:00pm, at considerably less cost than the others I had called. And since my insurance deductible was $300, it was much appreciated that the job was quoted and done for much less than that. There is a very friendly almost family feel to the business, but very professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use Crown again, for not just auto but they do home and commercial glass as well. I've been recommending them to all my friends as I tell them my broken window story over and over until they wanted to break a window themselves, just to get away from me singing Crown's praises. read more

We travelled from WA and during our stay in Vancouver, our car window got smashed and stuff stolen when parked in downtown. We didn't know what to do and stopped by NOVUS and see what can be done. Greeted by a gentleman (and I'm so sorry that I forgot his name) and he was polite and professional. We explained our situation and expressed that we have US insurance and need to hit the road soon. He fit us into his tight schedule and offered us a free fix (plastic wrap with duct tape) so we can hit the road again. There is nothing like a great product that will last years. We had to wait for our staircase railing to be inserted with glass -- we had to wait a few weeks more for the glass to be cut than expected. The wait was worth it. The whole outcome was beyond expectations -- the look of it and the workmanship. Customer service was great because they told me about the status every bit of the way. Great service! My driver window would not roll up and was stuck open; when I took my car to them to have a look, they were very friendly and quickly discovered the cause of the problem (the electric window switch). The only place that had the part I needed (a new switch) was a place in Abbotsford. They said they would contact them and have the part delivered to their store and give me a a call when it arrived. In the meantime they were able to roll the window back up and secure it so I wouldn't roll it down again and said they would call me once the part was received. It only took a couple of days and I went back and they installed it in about 5 minutes! It was quick, it was reasonable, and it was friendly! If i ever had any other issues with my auto glass I would definitely go back and visit you guys again! :) read more

My windshield had multiple cracks in it so I decided to finally have it replaced. I took my car to Crown Auto Glass and they were courteous and did a very nice job. Less than 24 hours later I got a big rock chip on my brand new windshield. I couldn't believe it. So I took the car back to Crown and they fixed the rock chip for free! How great is that?! I am one very happy customer and if I ever need glass on my car fixed again I will definitely go back to Crown Auto Glass. read more
