I'd say they simply look at the damage as a revenue opportunity. No apology, no compensation. Another glass shop said they should at least comp me the deductible. No dice. Well my 1st instinct (after wanting to cry) was to search for the usual well known glass repair shops that I am sure everyone has heard of, thinking that those would be the only shops I would trust with my brand new Audi. But then I remembered that the last time I used one of these shops I was not happy with the result (they said that they repaired the crack but somehow it looked exactly the same). I decided to search for a smaller shop that was close by to my house. This was a bit of a gamble but I decided on S.R.A which incidentally had 2 good reviews which made me feel a little more confident. Truthfully, when I 1st pulled into the shop I had reservations about my decision. The shop is relatively small, definitely on the older side, and only had 1 employee. The employee, Sam, actually happens to be the owner. Once we started the process and he went into his office to call the insurance company, I went back on Yelp and re-read the reviews just to be certain I had the right place - almost ready to drive back out of the shop (just because of the nature of my vehicle). Thankfully I decided to trust Sam and we went forward with the claim. Let me tell you, am I ever glad I did. Sam was absolutely amazing. Poor guy had to spend over an hour on the phone since my claim was rather a difficult one. I insisted that he replace the windshield with an OEM Audi windshield, since repairing the crack would still leave small crack lines on the glass. He had no qualms about doing that for me. Additionally, I had separate coverage with a private insurance company which meant that he had to deal with 2 insurance companies as well as Audi. To no fault of his own, the process took an hour, but he made sure that the claim was processed correctly and the right parts were ordered. He handled the situation very well. Once that was done we scheduled a day to bring my car in and I returned 2 days later. I dropped my car off in the morning and returned in the afternoon to pick it up. I was very impressed with the quality of his work. The windshield was a genuine Audi windshield with the rain sensors installed correctly. The interior was vacuumed and the car looked better than when I dropped it off. I was very happy with my experience with S.R.A and with Sam. I would absolutely recommend this shop to everyone for any type of vehicle. Although I was reluctant at 1st, I am very glad I took my Audi to this shop. Like the saying goes; never judge a book by its cover.

I was so pleased with the service here, I called and they had my window in stock and were able to get me in right away. I drove down and was greeted and quoted 3-4 hrs. I got there around 1pm, and had gotten a call around 3:50-4pm that it was good to go. The best thing about it is the price, they were almost half the price of their competitors.
