But still they spent ten minutes trying to make me as at ease as possible and demonstrated the kind of dancing I'd be learning. When I made the decision to come back and try again, they were all so excited and just as welcoming as at that first lesson. The experience from there was so comfortable and fun, which I never expected. Our instructor Amelia was just the sweetest person and also so patient and understanding, plus great at giving instruction and helping when we got lost in the steps or couldn't get something right away. I was drawn here after taking a class from Mourien sponsored by the apartment complex I am living in. Mourien is super energetic and her enthusiasm is contagious. Her steps are unique compared to other classes I have been to. They are fun and easy to follow. Her studio is conveniently across the street from the apartment and right next to the very tempting brusters icecream parlor. It is a large dance space with a child care room and changing rooms. The space was essentially packed with devoted Zumba enthusiasts for the Saturday morning class with Mourien. Again, her dance moves were fun and I barely noticed that I was drenched until after the class. Classes can be purchased per class, packages (6, 12, 18), or unlimited monthly. Try the drop in class for $7 with Mourien and I bet you will be hooked.

They routinely perform recitals that draw huge crowds to their varied performance venues. We have gone to many performances and every time, we have enjoyed ourselves. The production values are surprisingly high and the volunteer personnel helping patrons find seats or handle other logistical requests are s testament to how well run their operations are. The owner's lack of empathy and patience when dealing with children was shocking considering children are her primary customers. Her lack of professionalism, combined with an alarming level of cultural insensitivity, compounded our dissatisfaction. Our experience highlighted a lack of interest for those outside the studios perceived inner circle. These issues, coupled with the owner's attitude, led to our extreme dissatisfaction and ultimate decision to seek a more inclusive and supportive dance environment.

I loved the versatility of the group there; clearly, every culture and age was represented, which made it even more fun. This is what the doctor ordered for me since I had been in my head all day about some things. Nina was one of the most encouraging, energetic, and supportive persons for this class. She made you want to push yourself to learn the choreography steps. She also let everyone know not to take themselves seriously and enjoy the dance, which I did by the end of the class. Now, let me say that I always thought I had some moves. But Bollywood challenged me a bit--okay, a lot. I took a video, but it's for my viewing pleasure; sorry. I sent it to my girlfriends so we can book a class with Nina. Whatever you do, please do yourself a favor and book a class or try a free class to see how much fun it is and how much exercise you can get. You will not be sorry. Since posting my original Yelp review, the owner of the studio, Ms. Vidovich, has repeatedly tried…read moreto discredit my posting regarding an extremely disturbing incident that occurred on February 22, 2014 at her dance studio where one of the teachers threatened to pull down the pants of three 5-7 year old boys during the 11 a.m. Hip Hop for boys class. I did email with Ms. Vidovich regarding this incident when it happened in February and she responded to my email, so she is aware of what happened as well as aware of my identity. She did offer me a refund for the remaining amount since I did not feel comfortable having my child continue in a class where threats of humiliation towards 5-7 year old children were allowed. I repeat my concern to other parents that based on the actions of the teacher in the class and the lack of concern by the studio owner, I would NOT recommend this studio.

My daughter Melodie is 2 years old and has only gone to a few classes but I am honestly so…read moreimpressed. It's hard sometimes to keep a child's attention but these teachers know exactly how to keep them entertained while learning ballet. My daughter has caught on to so many dance moves I'm blown away. It was clean and had all the machines you could think of. The membership price is reasonable but the gym can be packed due to the location and the size. The gym lockers has a no photo policy on all the mirrors so all the progress pic girlies be mindful. Other than that, I wish this location worked out for me but unfortunately it's far from where I live. But if you are thinking to join? It's a no brainer.

Just wish personal training was little less you get 3 sections 30 mins for $130 which I didn't do it. Since I joined a lot of things been broken! In the Women Locker Room it has NO photography OR videos and you still see women taking pictures AND videos!. And I wish they would open little early on the weekends
