I had a very detailed eye exam and dr took the time to explain things to me, from exam to options contacts, lens, eye health. Bottom line up front: If you've ever read an article on "Why private practice instead of a chain?" for eye care, ...this office is a stellar argument in favour of private practice. The (VSP) vision care coverage I am paying through work is pretty expensive, but for the first time, I have zero doubt that I got my money's worth. Long version: (New patient; ~30 year's worth of previous eye doctor experiences.) Modern experience (from appointment creation, lobby, through diagnostics and follow-up). Both Dr. Thimesch and her sister were pleasant and funny throughout, despite me being the last appointment of the day. The appointment was efficient but not rushed. For example: the Optomap retinal imager was loaded with my profile before I got there; the doctor brought up details from my patient notes at relevant times (indicating she'd actually read and remembered); my old pair of glasses were checked in the other room while I was strapped in to the phoropter; my coverage was reviewed and suggested frames and options were prepared and researched before I left the exam room (and it was pretty quick to narrow down to what I wanted to buy). I've had some great experiences before (shout out to Dr. Bailey of the Chandler Vision Center); this was an A+ experience. Dr. Thimesch is clearly the level of "knowledgeable" where, not only does she know her stuff, she can explain things well. [Truth be told, I intentionally sandbagged ... didn't mention that I've got some experience with optics from my engineering career (shout out to the U-2 Dragon Lady).] Aside from that, the imaging tools/communication methods they use in this office are helpful and informative. Lastly, ...although I've had glasses/contacts since the 3rd grade ...this was the first time I had a nice experience in selecting frames. Usually I'm either at a complete loss as to what looks good ...or there's nothing in the selection that I like. This was as far as it gets from that. Sara is an outstanding optician; not only am I very pleased with the frames, we talked through some pros/cons/watch-items for someone like me (with a "strong" prescription). Overall great experience, and as I said before ...no doubt in my mind that I'm getting my money's worth. read more

Dr Renee and Sara did an absolutely fantastic job! We loved their hospitality, the office is immaculately clean and upscale it almost feels like you're at a spa and the service was outstanding. Amazing service!! I don't normally offer reviews, maybe I should do it more, but the service at Now Eye See was above and beyond!! I Had just got back in town on a Friday afternoon and had an eye severely irritated for multiple days. After making 20+ calls trying to find a vision Dr (all were closed, no appts and a few said they had no Dr's in office) I called Now eye see. They fit me into the schedule within 30 min, fixed my eye issue and did some vision testing while there. Just amazing service! We all need more businesses like this!! I visited Now Eye See Vision Care for the first time last week. I walked in the door and was greeted immediately by the Doctor. She performed the usual tests one would expect, especially when visiting a practice for the first time. Dr. Thimesch took the time to go over the tests and answered any questions I had. I was happy to see this was not an assembly line operation where the goal is to get patients in one door and out the other as quickly as possible. The office is modern, with new equipment and there is a nice display area with a large selection of eyeglass frames available. I cannot recommend Now Eye See Vision Care enough! read more
