A great bar with good staff

Went nowhere for st patties days and had a great time. Small footprint but friendly staff and customers. Great for locals!

You think their family who came here in boats knew English too?
    Alejandro R.

They told me I could only speak English or get the F out Right after I tried to order a quesadilla. I can't say cheese on a tortilla because tortilla in Spanish too . If they can't speak it what makes them think a sign in English gonna help

    Back home once again

Best bar in San Jose in my opinion. No windows, primarily regulars, pool tables, music that will NEVER turn to rap or hip hop after 10pm, best food for a great price (infact I'd go as far as to say Pad whips up the BEST food of any other bar in or around SJ. And the bartenders are the absolute best. A lot of the bars around here have jacked their prices up so high that all of their regulars left. Nowhere has always maintained fair prices and Jen and Mike are the best tenders. I'll keep n coming back to Nowhere for as long as they'll keep letting me in!!

Was ok at best but the service has TERRIBLE all three times I went there! After my buddy pointed out this sign it all makes sense now

    Raging Bitch! $6

5 stars because WHY NOT?!?!? This place is very low-key and chill, filled with a friendly older crowd (at least when we went...on a Sunday at 3pm)! They have a Music Player for you to request songs, billiards tables, Sopranos Pinball machine, gambling machines (?), and an air hockey table. Oooh!! They also have a vending machine!! How badass is that???? It only takes $1 bills, though. ANYwho, the bartender Mike was nice and had a genuine smile, and the patrons were also very approachable. My friend and I had a great afternoon here doing some day drinking and shooting pool! I haven't tried their food yet, but they seem to have a good selection!

Combo pizza made by pad. Mm mm good!

I love this place it's really laid back drama free. Variety of different nice people great neighborhood bar. And the cook "pad"that man can cook.pizza is off the hook there but everything I've eaten there is delicious. And at a very reasonable price.

Ask for Mike's Long Island! Best bartender in town!!!

Fun environment. Great bar. Fun bartender. We took our 21 year old child in for a shot. So fun!

Super creepy place. There are no windows- not even on the door. It feels like you're getting drunk in a shipping container.

Ordered the mush-o-roni which is a traditional mushroom and pepperoni detroit style pizza. The crust ... SO GOO. the sauce - nice and tomato-y, though I could have used double the amount that was on it, the toppings - fresh and generous and the cheese- just as it should be.... ooey and gooey. The online ordering website could be better ... i wanted 4 slices only, but it looks like you have to pick either 6 or 8, it wasn't intuitive to find extra sauce (marinara or ranch) so they could be leaving money on the table and some sad customers. It could be just me as other reviews are saying online ordering is amazing. Would definitely order again and interested in trying the Hawaiian.

This is going to be all about the food because that's what matters most…read more I came in on a slow evening and ordered the Ellen ( I think that's what it was called). It had bacon or what looked like pancetta, sun dried tomatoes, pepperoni, and a creamy tomato sauce. When the thing came out it, it was absolutely gorgeous. You can see everything was caramelized and cooked to perfection. Before even touching it, you knew every bite was going to be wonderfully crunchy. Every facet was gilded in CRISPY. From the pepperoni rounds to the square edges, and the various pieces of pork. I can see why this place is so lauded. The execution is flawless when it comes to presentation and quality. Although the pizza I picked was a sodium bomb (didn't realize it until it came out), I still very much enjoyed it. I couldn't eat more than two slices since the saltiness became overwhelming. But maybe you're not supposed to anyway? Next time, I'll be sure to choose a more mild style of pizza. This spot definitely deserves further visits. For $30, it is on the pricier side. You're only getting enough pizza to feed two people--and even that is a stretch. I would really recommend a starter as well for date night. This might be out of reach for most working class families; but if you're looking for a treat, I still think it's worth every buck despite my bad choice in pizza. I'm giving this a 4-star since I felt the pizza could have used more sauce. It was way too light, and you need that acid to balance out the heavy sodium and richness of all the pork ingredients. If my second visit can eclipse this experience positively, I'll adjust it to 5-stars
