Jay at Fix IT Services is wonderful! I highly recommend him and his company for all your fix-it needs. My project started about six months when my mom mentioned she wanted to get a bidet for her master bathroom. I ordered one for her online and my dad installed it...but apparently it took him a LONG time and was very difficult to install (which is interesting, since my dad is quite a handy guy). So my mom sends photos of the finished install and mentions in passing that the bidet seat doesn't quite fit the toilet bowl. We then realized I should have ordered a "round" bidet instead of an "elongated" one. I told my mom I'd get the correct one ordered and they could just replace it with the new bidet. She told me that my dad didn't want to replace it and that if he had to do it again, he would "have a heart attack and die." (yikes, so dramatic) So we got the idea to just find a professional company to help us install the bidet, saving my dad the headache. I came onto Yelp and sent a bunch of requests via Yelp's quote system. I got a bunch of responses and was pretty surprised at how expensive these companies were quoting me. $300 for installation, seriously?! I had bookmarked this Fix-It Services page since he had not enabled the Yelp quote feature and just had a phone number listed. After being very disappointed with getting one high quote after another, I decided to give Fix-It Services a call. Jay picked up the phone right away and I was impressed at how calm and knowledgeable he sounded. He even was willing to stop by that same day, despite it being pretty late already. He had such a busy schedule yet was still able to stop by my parents' house after a long day! Long story short, he stopped by my parents' house a total of three times and even helped them get extra parts from Home Depot. His fee for services was very reasonable and way less than the other companies I had contacted. He kept me informed about the progress of the repairs the entire time. I asked my parents about the experience and they were very happy with the entire process. They said Jay was very friendly, calm, knowledgeable...and even good-looking! :) He was even teaching his daughter about the repairs as well, which shows what a great family man he is too. I highly recommend Jay and Fix-It Services for any projects you might have around your house. I will definitely call him for any help we will need in the future. I may be writing a review on the wrong person but they came to my house with this truck. They scammed us out of our money to replace our fence and they did not finish the job. The work that was done were god awful. They bought clearance fence panels that were tattered and broken. We paid for metal fence frames and the metal beams were poorly soldered together and only on one side. They didn't even completely fill the cement for the posts and sprayed painted over our house. Total scam! If this is not the person that did the job, they are working together with the person who is. Stay away. I will be filing a complaint with the state. read more

I was looking for an outlet installation above an existing outlet in one of my bedrooms, so that I could plug in a wall mounted TV. I received several quotes and Jay's was the most reasonable given the complexity of the job. Although he ran late due to another job, he maintained timely communication as to his estimated arrival times. He was very courteous and wore shoe booties so that he didn't dirty my floors. He also made sure to lay down plastic on the floor where he was working and after the job was complete, cleaned any mess he created. He was super patient with me as I asked a lot of electrical questions and even gave some suggestions to resolve concerns I had with plugging in additional appliances. I contacted Jay at Fix IT Services for a sprinkler/pipe/water main issue. He called me back at the designated time, we discussed the issue and then he came to see the problem, estimate the repair costs. I had an emailed, written estimate within a few hours. I was able to review the estimate electronically. I accepted the bid, he scheduled the repair for the following day. Because he uses a specific software for his business, I had email confirmations of all of the processes. He and his employee arrived 30 mins prior to the estimated start time snd immediately began working. The problem was located, he went to get parts/supplies and repaired the problem. Fortunately it was not as serious as originally thought to be. The job took longer than planned, therefore the price was a couple hundred dollars more than estimated. Jay kept me apprised of the situation throughout the job. He and his employee cleaned up the area and left it nearly the same as it was. Initially, we had Jay quote us for upgrading our ceiling fans in the bedrooms and rewiring the electrical because it wiring were not connected to the bedroom switch. Fix IT Services completely took care of the updates and electrical jobs; one of the fans even had a defective motor, which they took down and reinstall a new one I purchased without a problem. Eventually we had them look into a bigger project for creating a fence that would divide my house to the neighbors and upgrade our garage night lights. Within two days, my front yard looks completely different and have had a lot of compliments, even had individuals slow down in front of our home to take a look at the great quality work completed. Ibrar (Jay) came out to do an estimate on outdoor house lights that I believed shorted out due to two newish LED bulbs going out at the same time.
