For over a year, the screen had to be opened where you wanted it before you turned it on because if you moved the machine virtually at all and the screen jiggled it would lock up, necessitating a restart. Then, suddenly, it refused to boot up in any screen position. I brought it to PC Werx. The gentleman who came out to look at it plugged in a separate monitor and talked with me about his concerns and let me make the decision to not invest any more money in this one because the repair could easily be more expensive than the residual value of the machine. When he asked me if there was information on it that I needed to keep, that was a no, so, there was no urgent need to do anything with it. He mentioned a retailer that he has had good experience with and that happened to be where I buy virtually all computer related hardware, we shook hands and he said thank you. I mean, I'm sure he could have repaired my machine, but he gently let me know his suggestion is to spend my money on something that I'd get better service out of rather than into the one I've worn out.

I came by after lunch, they said it would be 7 PM. I showed up at 7, it wasn't ready. Shortly after, the phone started to act strange (part of screen black, speaker crackling). I got sick over the Christmas break, so I couldn't come in person. I requested support via the contact form on their site. I got no response. When I felt better, I called to ask about my claim. They said they never received my web request and the 30 day warranty had expired. They never communicated that the warranty was 30 days. In fact, the only warranty info the site shows is 90 days. Regardless, I did reach out during that window but they did not honor their warranty. Now my phone needs multiple repairs. Worst experience. I would strongly advise against them.

Incorrectly formatted web page text display can be deciphered to reveal units are new open box items. (Pic attached) Customer experience: Site touts "Free Shipping 1-2 days" Placed order on Feb 20. Selected option extra $7.50 for "Ship Today", expecting shipment that day. Checked order status on Monday Feb 22. Order status page returned strangely worded response "Order didn't shipped now." Called customer service: "We don't work on Saturday so thus not shipped then, will ship today. When pressed, they offered to refund the $7.50 for the misleading "Ship Today" charge - refund still missing a month later. Checked status page 2 days later - same goofy message. Called again: Rep claimed: "Item has actually shipped." NOPE. Not true. Next day noonish Fedex finally showed "info received - awaiting item." Item eventually arrived at Fedex 9 hours later. It took another 5 days for the damaged and taped up box to show up. So much for "Free Shipping 1-2 days". Item was not damaged, but for a "new" unit it had a few suspicious clues. As I was struggling to carry the fairly heavy device it suddenly came to life - display lit and fan running! The battery connector that the installation instructions shows requires connection as part of the initial setup was already connected. The LCD was pretty scratched up. The case label shows a date code of 2017 and the box has a "Return to vendor" label from 2018 with an entry claiming "Defect v status". The unit does work. It is able to supply its fully rated 1350va. The fan is a bit loud even at no load. Beware the Astroturf reviews. The same exact text: "This product has a very nice quality and looks so high class, the price is good and I love this, full recommended for personal use." appears for this item and many other items around the site.
