Thank you to the guys at NTB/Conroe. I had my tire rotated before I left for Christmas with family in Conroe. I was told that 2 of my tires needed to be replaced. I didn't see a problem and the tires weren't that old so I made my way to Conroe and took my car to NTB/ on Interstate 45. They inspected all of my tires and none of them needed replacement. The manager Antis was supper helpful. I was from out of town and he could have easily ripped me off but he didn't. I had a slow leak in one of the tires of my new car. Despite the extended warrantees I had purchased, my car dealership was going to charge me just to inspect the tire. I called NTB and they told me to bring in my car, and if it was due to a nail and the tire was repairable, then there would be no charge. I brought it to NTB, they found a screw had pierced the tire, and they repaired it while I waited at no cost to me. read more

They damaged my girlfriends car and have been EXTREMELY difficult to deal with! Victim blaming attitude from Jeremy, the Store Manager to Ed Mallard, the Regional Manager and all the way to Corporate. Every conversation I overheard with Ed Mallard, he was very rude and short with her. They cut her rental as soon as the vehicle was repaired from the body shop but we can't pick up the vehicle as they did not do their part and pay for the damages that one of the NTB techs caused to my girlfriends vehicle. They are causing her so much emotional and unnecessary stress throughout this whole ordeal that was caused by one of THEIR technicians. Please BEWARE of this location and of the old 5 star posts that they allow to be shown first. Look at the most recent 1 star posts. Corporate is no help either. We have been sitting here at the body shop since 10am and NO ONE from their Corporate office (914-984-2500 Option 2) will send the body shop an email confirmation so they can release her car. Super long wait time and way too expensive, I'll be taking our vans somewhere else. Brought a van in for an alignment because it was steering to the right and instead of them mentioning to me that the alignment won't fix the drifting they took my money and blamed the tires after the alignment. The tires were a little, not much, worn on one side. They charge way to much to not be able to diagnose and communicate expectations to clients professionally. They charged 36 dollars to fix a simple patch job. They took full advantage of her. How classless. They just lost her and me and whoever sees this as customers...seems they are a failing business. After they put the new tires on and did the state inspection they showed me the alignment report and tried to convince me that my car needs new shocks and struts............ NONSENSE . 2 year old TOYOTA and they were able to diagnose the problem with an alignment.... THEY JUST TRY TO SCAM ME TO MAKE A COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY REPAIR. Instead they just lost me. I went in about two weeks to because my truck was doing a slow turnover before starting and I was worried about getting stranded. I didn't take it to my regular mechanic because I wanted to get the battery checked quickly and have a new one installed if necessary and NTB is close to where I work. I brought it in and explained the problem. They took it back and after 5 minutes they came back and said I needed a new battery. But then they also said I needed new shocks and struts, and quoted me about $1,800 to do the work. I'm not quite sure how they determined the shocks and struts were worn since it took less than 5 minutes and you don't need to put a vehicle on a lift to look at the battery (I hadn't asked for any other work and the truck was still riding and braking smoothly). In any case, I authorized them to install a new battery and went on my way. A week or so later I brought my truck to my regular mechanic, who confirmed my shocks and struts were fine. But here's the thing...the truck is still doing the slow turnover, so I'm actually wondering whether I really needed the new battery too. read more

I went to NTB at 19671 IH 45 S for a tire repair on one of the tires that I bought from them. They did well and fixed it in a timely manner. At the end of the appointment, they tried to sell me $1500 worth of shocks and struts and told me all kinds of bad things that were going to happen to my tires if I did not do this. I took my vehicle to my mechanic of 15 years whom I trust 100%. He said that I did not need to spend the $1500 and said that they were liars. They need to change their name from NTB to LCB - Lying, Cheating Bastards. I refuse to let them do anything more on my vehicle than rotate and balance which I paid for when I bought the tires. I sent a car over there with my credit card to have an alignment done, repair the leak in a tire and fix a malfunctioning air pressure sensor. The car came back to me and the leak in the tire was still there, the sensor was still broken and the alignment was worse than it was before it went in. Save your time and money and find another place to do business with. I have purchased multiple sets of tires and have had oil changes and other services at this location for years. Unfortunately their customer service has drastically gone down hill over the last year. It does not matter whether you have an appointment or not, you are forced to wait....and wait.....and wait. A few months ago I tried to get an oil change, only to wait an hour and then they tell me my car is too low to be serviced. It's a Chrysler 300...not a corvette. Gave an estimated ETA (+/- 30 minutes), asked if they could see me during that window and was confirmed. Arrived 15 minutes before the back of the window when I said I would be there, job order was on the counter and ready, added an additional scope to have all 4 wheels balanced. Signed the paperwork. I am not reviewing this company as a customer, but as an employee. I have always loved working on cars, so this job seemed like a great way to get my foot into the automotive industry. I want to start off saying that I absolutely enjoyed the work that I was given while I was employed here, being able to drive a wide variety and vehicles, and do basic automotive repair on them. What was NOT okay, was the management, Chris in particular. There were 2 other managers there that were honestly great, including Jen, and B.K. I was constantly cussed at, shown disrespect, and was not treated as fairly as the other employees (probably because I was new). I did my work, and showed up on time. This was not enough for the head manager in charge, Chris. If you are looking for employment with this particular site, be weary. I felt free when I quit, I could no longer put up with all the unnecessary drama in this workplace because of Chris. The guys were great who I worked with, the work was great, too, but Chris made it comparable to hell. The guys here do great work, but the management is crap and always will be, unless Chris makes a change, or they replace him, period. read more

I use these guys for tires because they can also do an alignment if I need one and they're open on Sunday. I wouldn't recommend these guys for actual auto maintenance or repair services. They always try to tell me that I need a ton of unnecessary repairs or maintenance and want to charge me out the nose for it. I do all of the basic maintenance and easy jobs on my car, so I have a pretty good feel for what needs to be done and when. I have my own shop that I'm a regular at for when things actually break or if I don't have the tools for a job. read more

On 8/26/2017, around 4:00pm, I went to this NTB store, with a flat tire. The front desk guy insisted that I changed all four new tires. I tried to argue with him: "1) all other 3 tire are still in very good condition, 2) it's raining very heavily already; you have to close @ 5pm, you don't have time to change all four tires." I finally gave up, but to let them change all 4 tires after he said: I will NOT touch your car unless you change all 4 tires. With the hurricane came, I didn't know if I had to evacuate. I could not take a risk to drive on highway with a spare tire during evacuation. After water receded on Thursday, 8/31/2017, when I drove on highway, I noticed the steer wheel was shaking very badly. I could hardly hold it using both of my hands. I realized they didn't change my tires correctly. I called this store right away. However, I was told they were booked full that day, couldn't take me in. I knew if tires not put in properly, that can cause my life on highway. I had to fix all four tires right away. So, I picked up phone and called one NTB store after another. After the service manager on 1960 location heard my story, he said: I will take care of you any time you come. After this NTB store checked my tires, they wrote on my receiptf: "tires not balanced correctly; weight of tires not on right spot. " I called NTB headquarter and reported them what happened. I was told their company policy is if it's all wheel drive, they can't change one tire, have to change all. I then called my dealer store, Porche north Houston. Sam with the service department said: no, it's not true. Even the tire is over 30% used, they only need to change 2 on one side of axel. I am very stressed during this Harvey hurricane season since this company not just rip off their customers when hurricane come, they are also careless enough to put their customers life in danger. read more
