Every time I have needed majork work performed on my vehicle, their prices and availability have been unbeaten. I needed a battery replaced nearly two years ago and recently failed an inspection. Other mechanics scared me into believing the worst and wouldn't include the diagnostic fee into the repair. I called the store and asked how much it was for a FLUSH and FILL on the transmission on a 2015 Chevy Tahoe. I was told $139.90 I took it in and had the service done on the 3rd of this month. ( So I thought ) Come to find out they did a DRAIN and FILL. Ever since my visit I have had a Transmission Shutter. I called yesterday and made an appointment for today. Upon getting there the General Manger Jermaine Osborne came out and I explained what was going on and he said the service I paid for was done. I explained that I wanted a Flush and Fill. He said that they don't do that, only drain and fills. I said that's not what I called for or wanted done. Now I am having a shutter in my transmission. He than suggested that I had an issue before I brought it in and was not going to fix or refund me and any way shape or form. ( Have you ever heard on preventative maintenance. ) He that said a drain and fill is better that a flush and fill. WRONG.... If you are not using the EXACTY same fluid as before you will not get the fluid out of the torque converter and now that is my issue. I have ALWAYS used ACDelco Dexron VI OEM fluid and it was changed to MaxLife Muti-Vehicle Fluid. I have been a customer for 20+ years and have regular maintenance done at this store on several vehicles and have purchase numerous sets of tire. There was nothing wrong with my transmission before I brought it in and the wrong service was done on my vehicle. I have since called and talked with Corporate Customer Service and have a complaint filed with them about this store and the Manager. I will NEVER go back to this store as long a this "wonderful person" is the GM. read more

This company told us repairs would be $1200...after telling them about our warranty and warranty company they said they spoke with them it would NOT be covered under warranty. After calling our warranty company, they let us know NTB never even filed a claim. We had NTB call the warranty company AGAIN and low and behold, it was covered under warranty. We would only need to pay $50. When we went to pick up the car, we did only pay the $50, however the charges totaled to $650... not $1200.. Why would they tell us $1200? Do not trust this place with your vehicle. They seem to either be looking to up charge, or have no idea what they're doing. read more

I am not paranoid am I??? After being a loyal tire customer to Discount Tires for many years, I decided to try out NTB. I was a sucker for their by 2 tires get 2 free. The only catch is you need to pay for their premium tire installation package that is expensive. If you have expensive tires it still seems like a descent deal... HOWEVER: It comes at a price! 1. Wait times are very long. Especially when you return in the future for "free" tire rotations and balancing. They can take all day sometimes. 2. When you bring your car back for the free rotations and balancing or to remove a nail in your tire- this is when they seem to want to find other problems that weren't there before. Also several times my TPMS on one of my tires seems to somehow break after coming here and had to spend money to fix! Coincidence??? One has to wonder? Only seemed to happen here but never when I was going to Discount Tire Center. 3. Lifetime wheel alignments- after having these done, my car still seems to pull one way and my steering wheel is NOT aligned straight when driving! Again, seems like after you spent extra money up front for lifetime services, it doesn't seem like they do good work on future returns. 4. Bought tires that were supposed to last 80,000 miles and they only lasted 40,000. When I would return for rotations and point out that they were wearing out fast, they would just try to feed me a BS story why... Whatever!!! I decided it wasn't even worth it to try and hold them to the warranty to credit me back 1/2 the cost towards replacement tires! I've owned cars for a very long time and use to do a lot of my own repairs when I was younger. I have dealt with good mechanics and bad and have developed a pretty good idea about when a repair shop is honest. Based on my experiences here and also talking to a former mechanic that worked here, I would NOT recommend using this facility for anything, even if it's just your tires! If you need tires, go to Discount Tire Center because they don't offer any other services so they have no reason to mess with anything on your car! I have gone to many different Discount Tire Centers between Houston and California and never had any issues with them. So save yourself the trouble and avoid this place. No body likes going to a mechanic but there are better options out there! The only good thing I can say about this place is they have a nice big waiting area since they make you wait forever.... Beware ! The NTB AT GRANDE PARKWAY DAMAGED MY VEHICLE BY SIDESWIPING A WALL IN WHICH CREATED ABOUT A 12" deep scratch on the fender. It was very evident that they did it. The scratch still had the residue from the paint. I spoke with the manager, general manager, and there employ that worked on my vehicle. And got nothing but denial. They SAID they will investigate it with there people and get back to me. 3 weeks I had to call them and once again it was all denial. The only thing that they came up with, is that it was damaged after they parked, and said they were not responsible for the damages once they park a vehicle regardless if they still had possession of the keys. My family has spent a lot of money at this place only to be treated with dishonesty. This is my experience with these people and you can take for what it's worth. read more

We did not expect that when we pre - ordered two Uniroyal Laredo HDH tires that they would be from the 48th week , 2012 stock. When we asked Manager Nick why we didn't get fresh tires he excused the age by stating that they are kept in a climate control warehouse and are as good as a 2015 and besides he stated that he doesn't think they make that tire anymore. I explained that I've had dry rot issues with 'warehouse kept tires' of age before and he just kept repeating himself. We needed them and over paid for older tires. We do not recommend this business unless you just like a long long wait times and poor quality and service. If I could give this place no stars I would in a heart beat. I've been to many tire stores across our great nation and this had to be hands down the worst experience out of them all. I just went in there for an oil change, and they told me it would be 45 mins in and out. I thought that was a good time, and it was the 2nd day of the NFL draft and i needed it to be quick. There wasn't anyone there and not many cars on the lifts, so i thought it would be quick. 2.5 hours later, and missing the Texans 2nd round pick, I finally get my car back. Who takes 2.5 hours to do an oil change. Then to top it off, less then a week later my car is now leaking oil. While I was there, they lost one customers keys and gave a lady the run around about using coupons. When he finally did accept them he gave her the wrong discount twice, she had to correct him both times. Just the most incompetent assembly of workers i have ever had the displeasure of coming across. Avoid this location at all cost, just a terrible all around experience. read more

I've been going to the Rosenberg store for years, but gave up as the revolving door crew of employees keeps getting worse and the wait time for having ANYTHING done is at least three hours. we really like this NTB! I am not sure what all the bad reviews are about, but yes, they take a while, but that's to be expected! What we usually do is i follow my husband up there, and we drop the car off, then we go eat, or shop, or go home and then come back and pick it up whenever. They aren't rude ever to us, and they are always very professional! we only come here for our oil changes and usually find a coupon on line, or on store receipts for $19 oil change with tire rotation. that's pretty good, we think! read more

I drove there on my flat tire.. they welcomed me and offered me to replace the tire but it would take couple of hours as they had to bring the tire from another location..... The employees were extremely unprofessional and they all acted as if they did not want to be there. I find it very disappointing that a paying customer has to go out of their way to seek help. They displayed no interest in attending to the customers needs, it was as if they were counting down the time until their shift ended. Came for an oil change and inspection. They completely ignored my request for an inspection after bringing to their attention twice. Also, when they put the under plate back on my car, they didn't tighten the screws so half way down the highway it was dragging on the ground. I came back to get the under plate secured and still had to wait 2 hrs before someone could take it back to replace the screws. HORRIBLE! read more

Took it back to get it fixed and instead of admitting they didn't do it right they wanted to charge me for another one even though I had just been their 2 days before. This establishment is POORLY organized and inefficient. No one seems to take charge and move things along. I arrived one afternoon. There were 3 people in front of me, with only 1 desk clerk? Of course, i've seen sick turtles move faster than them! Anyway, I needed an inspection and that was it. They located a small nail in one of my tires and I asked them to patch it. 3 hours later, yes 3 hours later my car came out of the garage where it was parked. The technician brought in the paperwork and sat it on the desk. 47 minutes later they got to me and checked me out. First and foremost, they need 2 full time desk clerks. Once to handle incoming and one to handle outgoing. If one is not busy, then help the other. The establishment has 4 bays, then they should have 4 technicians plus maybe a helper and manager. To me, I think just add a few employees and motivate them would help this business. By the way, my son with to their competition and had 2 tires mounted, plus an inspection. His total time there was 73 minutes. SOMETHING to strive for! read more

I'm extremely disappointment... I guess is back to Discount Tire for me... is not the price... I research and they have the SAME PRICE... is the SERVICE!!! I get a flat tire... I didn't "roll" the car with the flat because I didn't to mess it up... I called AAA to have them change the tire... when the guy came in and change the tire, I asked him... specifically... if I had ruined the tire... this is TRIPLE A... He said... NO... the tire was fine and it could be patched.... When I got to this store... I was told I need the tire... and it couldn't be patched.. I told him the guy from AAA said... and he said... "IT'S THE LAW MA'AM... I CANNOT PATCH THE TIRE"... The law? That is the biggest BS..... Went to Discount Tire... and they patched... I guess... I should've never change companies.... read more

Bought a set of tires at this location along with the extended tire insurance and alignment package a couple of years ago and some of my experiences at this sight is as follows: Tires wore unevenly from be beginning. I used each oil change to rotate the tires and perform an alignment. Many times they tried to talk me out of the alignment (again I bought the package an the tires were not wearing properly). They didn't seem to want to do the work I already paid for but attempted to upsell every other service they could. A couple of occasions they rotated the tires but never balanced them as requested. Needless to say the tires wore well ahead of the rating in the tire and what they sold me on. On of the guys recently stated that replacement tires rarely hit the rated mileage for wear. The numerous up-selling attempts here are not acceptable. It's constant dishonest to unsuspecting people. On a separate occasion they pulled the engine faring to up sell a belt that was perfectly fine and didn't install it back on properly. Upon driving home I heard it flapping around (loose). I took it back just to here the manager argue that it's possible that I could have done it myself (as if I would damage my own car). Unfortunately once you buy a set of tires with the extended warranty and alignment package your stuck unless you want to come out of pocket again somewhere else. Dreaded taking my car in for service money was sunk in insurance and services bit decided completely stop taking my business to NTB. The only positive I can offer is that a few of the guys up front seem to be good guys. I've always had good luck at NTBs at OTHER locations but I won't be using them anywhere any longer. Was not a fan of this place. My brakes had been squeaking after getting some work done and I wasn't able to go to my normal place. So, I stopped here for just a brake check. Need some training. Told me $115 for one year of unlimited alignments. I waited almost an hour and a half of them aligning my car. They tried to sell me on new brakes and told me my check engine light was on and they could fix it (LMAO). When they finally finished, I asked Nicholas how the one year alignments worked. He then told me that because my car is a specialty car (whatever the heck this means, its a 2014 bmw 6 series....) the one year alignments didn't apply, and also that my one alignment today would normally be $125 but he was gonna charge me $115. Looking online NTB website prices one alignment at $85. These guys are horrid at customer service. Stay away from here if you don't want to get screwed. If you enjoy getting bent over then you will LOVE this place! Would give 0 stars if possible. I should have listened to yelp reviews but I took a chance and messed up. If I can help one of you not make this mistake it will be fine with me. I don't care about the $30 its the principle of the whole thing. Horrible experience. I was a walk-in and found this location after being turned down at a few locations (Firestone on Fry Rd & 99 wasn't friendly at all and made up a lame excuse as to why they can't help me today), Chris Peacock was friendly, professional and accommodating. He took care of me right away, made me feel welcomed and processed my ticket before I set down He then followed up with me before progressing with the service and it was all done fast. I volunteer every weekend, helping flood victims and now I can do it again next weekend instead of dealing with a flat tire...this is Karma! Thanks Chris & NTB! read more

I will preface this by stating, if I could give NO STARS I would! My husband had a flat early yesterday morning. He took our car to get two new tires and then came to pick me up from work. He told me to call NTB to see how long the wait would be for an alignment so I did and they said about an hour. We decided to go to NTB because it was the cheapest alignment pricing we could find. As we were driving to NTB I made a comment to my husband about how quiet the car was with the two near tires. We get there and they take our car back. Come back after about 25 minutes and tell us that they cannot do the alignment because our ball joints and control arms on the front end are bad. Immediately we called BS because we just changed those part not even 6 months ago. He added up everything he claimed wrong with the car, slapped us with an 11 hundred dollar estimate and told us they could not do the alignment with these issues. So we told him we would have to do it later because we simply cannot shell out 11 hundred dollars right now. He said that was fine and that he would bring our car right out. We get our car back and we leave. The whole way home we are hearing creaking and rattling. I called NTB and they swear up and down that they did no "wrenching" (direct quote from Eric, the manager) around with our car. That they simply lifted, inspected, and then brought back down. I call corporate and am told that if I can get a different mechanic to look at it and prove that it was NTB that messed up my car to send it to them and they will help me. Fast foward to today, I take my car to a local mechanic (where I should have gone in the first place) and they tell us that NTB took all 4 tires off my car and then put them on backwards which was the cause of all the noise. They also told us that NTB is notorious for over charging and over estimating the work that needs to be done on a car and they are also notorious for saying something is wrong with the car when it isn't. I will NEVER step foot or offer money up to another NTB location as long as I am a car owner. It is ridiculous that NTB feels the need to swindle money out of people or at least attempt to and that they feel the need to outright LIE to get that money. Absolutely atrocious. read more

Never again! I have a mechanic I usually use, but took my car to NTB for an alignment so I could get the year warranty on it. Figured I'd get an oil change while to save some time, because its pretty hard to screw up an oil change. After getting my vehicle up on the rack, they showed me a fluid leak and said it was my steering rack. They'd be happy to fix it, but its $1600. Took my car the next day to my mechanic who told me a transmission drain seal was leaking, not my steering rack. total cost of about $200. Afterthe diagnosis, I told him what NTB said, and he laughed. Oh and I have a second leak because the dude at NTB only half way put my oil pan drain plug back in. read more
