    I am not paranoid am I??? After being a loyal tire customer to Discount Tires for many years, I decided to try out NTB. I was a sucker for their by 2 tires get 2 free. The only catch is you need to pay for their premium tire installation package that is expensive. If you have expensive tires it still seems like a descent deal... HOWEVER: It comes at a price! 1. Wait times are very long. Especially when you return in the future for "free" tire rotations and balancing. They can take all day sometimes. 2. When you bring your car back for the free rotations and balancing or to remove a nail in your tire- this is when they seem to want to find other problems that weren't there before. Also several times my TPMS on one of my tires seems to somehow break after coming here and had to spend money to fix! Coincidence??? One has to wonder? Only seemed to happen here but never when I was going to Discount Tire Center. 3. Lifetime wheel alignments- after having these done, my car still seems to pull one way and my steering wheel is NOT aligned straight when driving! Again, seems like after you spent extra money up front for lifetime services, it doesn't seem like they do good work on future returns. 4. Bought tires that were supposed to last 80,000 miles and they only lasted 40,000. When I would return for rotations and point out that they were wearing out fast, they would just try to feed me a BS story why... Whatever!!! I decided it wasn't even worth it to try and hold them to the warranty to credit me back 1/2 the cost towards replacement tires! I've owned cars for a very long time and use to do a lot of my own repairs when I was younger. I have dealt with good mechanics and bad and have developed a pretty good idea about when a repair shop is honest. Based on my experiences here and also talking to a former mechanic that worked here, I would NOT recommend using this facility for anything, even if it's just your tires! If you need tires, go to Discount Tire Center because they don't offer any other services so they have no reason to mess with anything on your car! I have gone to many different Discount Tire Centers between Houston and California and never had any issues with them. So save yourself the trouble and avoid this place. No body likes going to a mechanic but there are better options out there! The only good thing I can say about this place is they have a nice big waiting area since they make you wait forever.... And ever... And ever!!! This review is NOT based on a single service but rather my experience over 4-5 years and 3 different vehicles.

Mr. David and Mr. Devon are top-notch technicians who explained everything clearly and concisely. They topped off my fluids, replaced my dirty air filter, and changed my oil filter - my car feels brand new! The entire crew is friendly, welcoming, and works together like family. And the drive of service is exceptional, however, until you encounter a problem with them, and this is where it goes downhill.! and this is why I will never use take five again and I recommend you all not use. Take five again.! because when you encounter a problem, the customer service sucks. It is rated a zero.! you have no actual way to contact the store unless you go through the one 800 then when you have a problem, you stay on hold for a customer service representative to come to the phone. Mind you all from a one 800 number.! what's the phone you explained to them and only them what is going on and at that point they still cannot help you! You are only able to leave your information with the service prep as she will then email regional manager and they will take 5 to to reach back to you! And at this point they have not even reached back out to me! After several attempts to continuously, try to contact them with urgency due to a problem that they caused to my vehicle! I was in Dallas when I originally got my oil changed when I get to Houston I need another oil change to discover the oil cap has been put on too tight from the previous take five in Dallas! Now that's not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is to take five here in Houston is we are not going to touch that we could not get the cap off. You will need to drive back to Dallas to have them to take it off.! so in disbelief, I tried to go to the Dodge dealership to see if they will take it off for me because I'm just thinking take five is exaggerating! But nope the dealership also says it is too tight. We don't want to risk breaking the entire house so therefore we will not take it off either unless you plan on paying $2000 if we break the housing unit.! so now I go back and to take five to talk about the unfairness of this. I don't have time to drive back to Dallas to take care of this problem that they have caused because of this point now you're causing me another problem from my job time and my money ! They tell me there's nothing they can do except send it to the regional manager, and I will have to wait 5 to 7 days to hear from him which they're also telling me he's probably going to tell me also to drive back to Dallas! Absolutely ridiculous! As I told them you were risking my vehicle the motor of my vehicle because at this point, I don't know how much oil is in the tank because it needs to be changed so me risking to drive to Dallas to do further damage to my vehicle is unacceptable! So at this point, this is date three and I have not heard from regional manager, and the cap is still on and I still cannot get my oil change and my vehicle is still at risk of messing up the motor! So then we go to if the motor is messed up the vehicle is messed up, but then who replaced the vehicle! So take five let me ask you is it worth you getting someone here in Houston from take five to repair this cap situation versus you be responsible for an entire vehicle? I came yesterday and I was trying to ask the gentleman if I can get the nicest car wash and what he recommends, but he was too busy flirting completely unprofessional! So I sit down for 15 to 25 minutes with My Son and they tell me that they are finished with my car and I thought to myself that that was really fast! When I walk up to my car, they did the worst job I have ever seen on the vacuum so I told them that this is terrible!! I was very polite one one the workers not knowing I understand Spanish was laughing at me and saying very rude things in Spanish not knowing I could understand her and then she held both of my BMW mats up and told me to go clean my mats myself! I then grab a Manager and she takes my car and the two ladies working on my car to the side and let them know that's not how you treat customers so then they detail cleaned my car when I got home I noticed I was missing a BMW mat! So I'm not sure if she threw my mat away, but they did not find my mat not only is their unprofessional people working for this car wash, they should not try flirting with the customers and I believe she threw my mat in the trash, she was extremely rude. I've never experienced someone so rude working for any establishment: I lost my mat forever unfortunately .I did not want a free car wash I highly do not recommend this unprofessional terrible place! What really makes me upset is I am a BMW owner and a very smart and responsible woman so to try and convince me that I didn't come with all 4 mats in my car really upsets me now I have to find another BMW Matt that they did not offer to reimburse me for anything they did not offer a refund on my car wash. I don't want a $30 refund. I need my $200 mat replaced! You can't accuse some of someone of coming to a car wash without all four mats!

Aside from that they failed to vacuum the carpets on the third row of my minivan. Unfiortunately I did not spot this till I arrived at home due to the fact the car took 90 minutes before I could get it. By that time I was already annoyed and just wanted to go home. Staff seemed attentive aside from the screaming lady in the red shirt. I would still patronize this place only out of proximity convenience, however as for their detail department I would not.

The mechanic even took me…read moreout to see my car lifted up so he could point everything that looked great and things to keep an eye on with no sales pressure at all - I've never experienced that level of care and thoughtfulness before! The entire staff behind the counter was extremely friendly, and I enjoyed hearing them tell stories of how they helped out strangers in need on an extremely rainy day. He took the request as talking face-to-face as a threat. I saw the fact that he didn't want to talk to a customer face-to-face as a bigger issue any original complaint. He believed that I was upset so he felt necessary to contact my mother to, in his words "bridge the gap". Here is another issue that was bigger than the original. If a customer and a business has an issue, the customer's family members shouldn't be a part of it. Today I came in to talk to Jerome to voice my complaints and instead of listening to the customer, he tried to justify his actions. Instead of hearing me out, he attempted to downplay my concerns by cutting me off mid statement. I tried to remind him a few times that I have a complaint as a customer Jerome interrupts with justifications to 1/2 statements . I admittedly interrupted him when I wasn't being heard. He injected that he suspects its a race issue. I don't see this as a race issue. I have a customer complaint issue that turned into three and I'm still not being heard. I tapped on the table to emphasize a point and seemingly he saw that as a threat or intimidation so he hit the table extremely hard a few times seemingly out of fear or anger. So after 15 minutes of me not giving into his narrative, Jerome showered frustrating love upon me as a Christian brother. And then he kicked me out. I told him that he wasn't Christlike. He may be a Christian, but not Christlike. I gave Jerome an opportunity of earn a loyal customer and he failed miserably. The rest of your crew is awesome. I can say that with no equivocation. I especially like to single out Kevin. His customer service instinct are awesome. If he teaches as well as he performs, he should lead a customer serviceworkshop at Christian Brothers.
