In Texas, if you seek mold remediation from a licensed mold remediation company, you are required to first obtain an assessment and testing plan called a "protocol". If you are required to obtain such a document, I strongly recommend, without hesitation, calling Dennis to assess your situation and prepare the protocol. Our potential mold damage was in a small area and we did not know whether we would require a licensed mold remediator. We called Dennis to assess our situation and were very impressed with his clear, thorough, and comprehensive assessment of our situation. At every step of testing, he explained what he was doing and what he was finding. He answered every question my wife and I could think to ask until he was satisfied that we fully understood our situation and our options.When the remediation was completed, Dennis returned to examine the job, take detailed measurements about the air quality, and furnish us a lengthy and very complete report on what had been done and how successfully it had been accomplished. His price for his services was very reasonable - it is not often we think to ourselves after a service professional leaves our home "that was an extremely worthwhile and fair expense," but that is exactly what we thought when Dennis was finished. I almost never write a review, but I have to make an exception for Dennis. He is amazing. From the first phone call to him to get pricing and information, he has consistently gone above and beyond any expectations I would have for a mold inspector. We have used his services twice now, and Dennis has spent a lot of time in my home investigating, as well as researching the issue I have in an effort to help me discover the source of the problem. He has been kind, willing to answer every one of my (many, many) questions, and even consulted with a plumber who came in while he was here to brainstorm through possible scenarios for the source of the water. When none was found, he researched more on his own time, reporting back to me what he had discovered. In addition, mold is not something you just know about- there a so many types and some are really harmful and some are just irritating, but Dennis provides the information you need to make decisions on proceeding based on the findings in his test and is willing and available to answer any questions you might have. I can honestly say that I have never worked with a person who took such great care of their customers as Dennis, and I am extremely grateful for the time, care, and effort he has put into my case- I know if I ever have to deal with a mold inspector in the future, Dennis will be my only choice for mold inspection. read more

I don't write many reviews however I must make exception in this case. I am beyond impressed with Dennis / NTX Mold Inspection Services and his work ethic within his craft. I have no doubt in my mind that Dennis has a passion for what he does! He was very helpful and wanted to make sure I felt comfortable in understanding his diagnosis of our mold situation. Dennis provided a great service from the time I first called him through even the post-inspection follow-up. After calling several competing companies, I decided to hire Dennis because I felt that he actually cared about the service he was providing versus the other guys I couldn't get a good read (some were definitely friendlier than others though).
